M-BS-NBC: Martin Bashir Falsely Claims Obama Created 3 Million Private Sector Jobs
It certainly is no surprise the Obama-loving media are doing a jubilant victory lap over the stronger than expected headline figures in Friday's unemployment report.
Also not at all shocking was MSNBC's Martin Bashir falsely claiming on the show bearing his name Friday, "Under this president over three million private sector jobs have been created" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
"If I may just interrupt you for a moment, under this president over three million private sector jobs have been created." -- Martin Bashir, February 3, 2012
Actually, no.
When Obama took office, there were 110,985,000 private sector workers. As announced by the Labor Department Friday, that number currently stands at 110,436,000, a decline of 549,000.
And this man has his own nationally televised show to lie to the public.

...especially when you consider that government doesn't actually create jobs, but positions - for which they have to suck a lot of disproportionate resources out of the private sector in order to create and maintain.
Maybe Obama's next neat trick will be to push for a sure-fire method of eradicating camel fleas.

I was looking at data on the SSA web site and noticed that during the Bush administration there were roughly a net 300,000-350,000 social security recipients added each year including all categories. The last few years it has been 500,000-550,000.

Hell, I held off for over 2 years to build a garage/workshop and decided that so many unemployed craftsman plus cheap prices on materials, just couldnt hold off any more, Between the concrete, framing, electrican and others, at least some of my neighbors were able to put food on their tables. Never mind the ass-wipe sitting in the peoples house

I believe this like I believe Boy Barry is a Christian. When we've got a shrinking number of actual jobs, and a growing number of people who have either run out all of their unemployment benefits, or have stopped looking for work (maybe they'be gone on the GROWING numbers in the welfare and food stamp areas), as well as a variety of other ways that the REGIME reporting agency has to manipulate the unemployment numbers, as well as the 'jobs created', or even more ludicrous 'jobs saved' - and with stoooopid f**king idiots like the Basher reporting the party line - it's not hard for them to come up with SMALLER unemployment and LARGER 'job creation'..................although NEITHER one of these statements is factually true.
Not only is the Basher a knee-pad wearing, anti-American, foreign dilettente who is probably a mooooooooooooooooslem, although he claims to be otherwise (kind like his man crush Boy Barry)..............he's also uglier than the backside of an unwashed camel, and he's duller than Boy Barry trying to answer a 'real' question.
