Bill Maher on Romney as Nominee: 'Obama Is Going to Beat Him Like a Runaway Sister Wife'
As if having an hour a week to bash Republicans on national television isn't enough, vulgarian comedian Bill Maher is regularly asked to appear on cable news networks to offer his perilously biased opinions.
Such was the case Wednesday when he told CNN's Anderson Cooper if Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney wins the nomination, "Obama is going to beat him like a runaway sister wife" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
ANDERSON COOPER, HOST: So you are optimistic for this election? You think, no matter who the Republican candidates are, you think Obama is going to win?
BILL MAHER: Oh, definitely. My money is still on Mitt Romney. And I think he's going to get the nomination. And then I think Obama is going to beat him like a runaway sister wife. Yes, I do.
COOPER: Oh geez.
Oh geez is right.
Not catching the reference, I Googled "runaway sister wife" and found that Billy Hallowell over at the Blaze had written about this earlier:
[T]here’s a popular television show on TLC called “Sister Wives.” The program, which documents a polygamous family’s lifestyle, is controversial to say the least. Maher’s mention, which is particularly striking considering that polygamy is forbidden by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (in fact, the practice would cost one his or her membership in the church), seemed to be a dig at Romney’s faith.
At the very least.
Associate Editor’s note: As you are likely aware, since the financial collapse of 2008, charities and non-profit organizations have seen a sharp reduction in donations. Although the environment has improved, contributions are still nowhere near where they were prior to the recession. Unfortunately, the Media Research Center has not been immune. With this in mind, your support has become more important than ever. With a critical election approaching, the liberal media needs to be monitored 24/7. As we have been predicting for months, the press are willing to do anything to get their beloved politicians elected and/or reelected. As such, we need your help to fight this fight. Any contribution, even $10, is greatly appreciated. Please consider a tax-deductible gift to the Media Research Center to help us battle the liberal media. Thank you.

Yup, gotta keep them uppity wannabe-free-thinking minorities in their place, dumb and eternally dependent, imprisoned where they belong on the Dem/Lib Plantation so they will serve and vote for Massah & Ma'am all of their days (and daze).
On top of that, wee Willie Mother-May-I seems to be extolling the virtues of violent spousal abuse. Isn't he so cute when he does that?
NOW will surely be issuing an indignant press release in......

Let them keep thinking that...

Good. Let them keep thinking that. It will keep them home during the election. They continue to be clueless by living in the Liberal Bubble and have no clue what the majority of the country is thinking.
Well, he does unfortunately

Well, he does unfortunately make a positive contribution to the discussion about 5% of the time...he makes predictions too, huh?...probably not much better there. He seeks attention, so anything that'll do it for him, he'll say. And his bosses are ok with it, as long as it's not Barry Soetoro who is the subject too often.
Beat him like a what?

Bill Maher is a contemptibly despicable snob, but...

...I'm forced to agree with him. I'm not a big fan of Newt, but I have found myself defending him in comment sections like The Post's. The leftist Obama manics know that they can whip the flip-flopping Romney. The farce that David Axelrod, chief strategist for Obama’s campaign, has put forth, they're afraid of running against Mitt, is to help him win the election.
The DNC is running an ad that conservatives should watch before deciding on who's the most electable candidate (see below).
Ronald Reagan: Mitt Romney flip-flops on how he feels about Ronald Reagan - WhichMitt.com
The ad quotes Romney saying, "I was an Independent during the time of Reagan/Bush. I'm not trying to return to Reagan/Bush..."
Then there's Romneycare, his flip-flops on abortion, gay marriage, gun control, etc. How can Romney draw any distinction between himself and thus, defeat Obama in the general election?

Newt, Rick or Mitt could beat ObamAA+

Newt, Rick or Mitt could beat ObamAA+, but Mitt would be the easiest to attack. Also, Mitt's wealth would probably best help ObamAA+ to fire up his 2008 "youth" supporters. If he doesn't fire them up then they may stay home Nov 6.

Mr. Maher hasn't been right once in the last 3 years, with that track record it only brings hope.
Is this divisive racist with delusions of competence under the impression that anyone but the far left Kool-Aid drinkers thinks he has credibility?
I think he should get a comedy team together just think of it Bill (Brain dead) Maher, Christy (Tingle Legs) Mathews Ed (Special) Schultz and George (I wish I had a brain) Stephanopoulos doing a comedy road show with guest appearances by Joy (OMG) Behar. That would be hilarious and a guaranteed money maker. As much as I disagree with everything they say I would buy a ticket because I would be able to spend the entire evening laughing my a** off.
