Jack Welch: 'Romney Is the Most Qualified Leader I've Ever Seen Run for President'
Former General Electric CEO Jack Welch on Monday said, "In my lifetime, Mitt Romney is the most qualified leader I've ever seen run for the Presidency of the United States."
Appearing on CNBC's Squawk Box, Welch included John F. Kennedy, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama in this analysis (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):
After discussing Romney's Harvard degrees, Welch addressed the Republican presidential candidate's building of Bain Capital, how he saved the Olympics after 9/11, won the governorship of Massachusetts, and solved that state's budget problems.
"We haven't had anybody do all these things," said Welch. "You think Richard Nixon did that? Do you think Bill Clinton had those credentials?"
Welch continued, "Certainly Barack Obama didn't have those credentials. Two years in the Senate. I mean, come on."

He'll be the nominee

The media has already tamped down Santorum with the pounding of his statements regarding gay marriage and other social conservative values; unfortunate for him he elevated prior to NH rather than SC where social conservativism might have led to a trend rather than a bump. And Paul might maintain some momentum through NH but it'll die quickly thereafter (I hope).
There is one guy, however, who thinks Romney may not be as courageous as the One.
Irony

The irony about this is that Welch is essentially correct, having had governor/executive experience does make Romney far more qualified than the Muslim in chief in the WH.
Most qualified leader ever thouh? Hardly, I'll match Governor Perry's record of being a leader against Romney ANY day of the week.
Welch is living in a dream land.

Can we not learn from even recent history??
Perry;
* Lied to our faces about his support for TARP.
* Called Tom Tancredo a racist for supporting the enforcement of our own immigration laws.
* Publicly ridiculed Gov. Jan Brewer for SB1070 who is trying to protect her state from being overrun by illegal aliens.
* Signed a totally unsupervised DREAM Act in Texas and had the audacity of a dope to call Americans ‘heartless’!
* Pushed his plan to build a US-Mexican Highway on stolen eminent domain land!

Get off of it, I never said Perry was perfect. I only compared Perry's experience as a governor versus Romney's experience on the topic of Romney being called "most qualified."
You want to start rehashing all that stuff, fine, but I won't be responding to that.
And yes, I am biased about wanting Perry for pres, I made no secret of that.

Both of their "experience" is exactly the undeniable proof that they have no idea how to govern in America. If we are not to judge them upon their actions towards governing strictly upon the principles and values our liberty solely relies upon, what treasonous considerations should we entertain in the exercise of suicide?
It is our instructed duty to educate every loyal American so that we ALL become capable for our own governance. Never in history has this lesson been driven home harder as we now suffer from a waste of openly racist and treasonous Comrade In Chief.
Many of us have taken oaths to be biased only to America which is our Soveriegnty - our oath to each other that provides our only true strength wherein American exceptionalism exists.

We are a rough bunch here, aren't we? I'm pretty indifferent to all the Republican candidates, but of course anyone one of them is preferable to what we have now.

A little off topic, but is

A little off topic, but if absolutely no one perished on September 11th, 2001 as a result of the attacks, I would still despise the Islamists for ruining Welch's victory lap on that day.
