Joe Scarborough Smacks Down Mika Brzezinski: 'Stop the Apologizing' for Obama!
As NewsBusters previously reported, the gang on MSNBC's Morning Joe Wednesday got into a serious discussion about whether or not Barack Obama actually likes his current job.
In the middle of this exchange, when Mika Brzezinski - who appeared uncomfortable with all the criticism of her beloved president - started defending him, co-host Joe Scarborough smacked her down saying, "Stop the apologizing" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
MIKE BARNICLE: It appears off of what Tina said, you just said, it appears that you could make a case that Barack Obama doesn't like politics.
TINA BROWN: Right. I absolutely feel that.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: I don’t think he does.
MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Well who would today? I mean, I think it's great that you all say he doesn’t like the job.
SCARBOROUGH: Oh come on.
BRZEZINSKI: Who would like…
SCARBOROUGH: If you don't like medicine, don't be a doctor. If you don't like politics, don't put yourself out there to run the free world, Mika.
BRZEZINSKI: You know what? Politics today needs to be changed.
SCARBOROUGH: No, no, no, no. Stop the apologizing!
BRZEZINSKI: I'm not apologizing.
SCARBOROUGH: You're apologizing. [Sarcastically imitates Mika's voice] Who would like politics today? You know what?
BRZEZINSKI: Who would? Why don’t you answer that question.
SCARBOROUGH: He is running the free world. He better know a lot of people love politics. Bill Clinton loved politics. FDR loved politics. Ronald Reagan loved politics. Great leaders love what they do.
It seems Brzezinski might be one of the last people on the planet other than Michele, Malia, and Sasha that will ever be able to admit that Barack Obama just isn't cut out for this job.
Without question, Scarborough, Barnicle, and Brown were 100 percent right. To be good at anything, you have to like it.
As Scarborough said, Clinton and Reagan loved being president, and that's why they were so good at it irrespective of their ideological differences.
By contrast, Obama since his defeat in last year's midterms has behaved like a spoiled brat who didn't get what he wanted for Christmas, and continues to look less and less pleased with his role as America's chief executive.
Maybe it's time he and all his supporters - especially those in the media like Brzezinski! - started realizing this.

but don't forget those doctors who are dragging young children into the operating room to cut out their tonsils in unnecessary operations simply to make a few bucks to invest in crooked pharmaceutical companies!And that doesn't even begin to mention those dirty hill people clinging to their guns and bibles!! This professional politician who does not like politics has not only had to "rule" over more states, deal with zombies (corpse men and seeing Memorial Day honorees in the crowd), and so on, but also with problems in English embassies.
Sooo many problems other presidents never had.

I don't normally watch Bull-Dyke Maddow but I glanced at it last night and saw Rocky Anderson. He's forming a new "Justice Party" to run for president. It's the usual things lefties like: Bush and Cheney on war crimes, Corporate greed, the Patriot Act is illegal, the Govt needs to spend more money, etc etc, then he says Obama sold out. Hopefully this guy gets enough traction to siphon some votes from Obama.

Wasn't Obama the The One who was going to usher in a "new kind" of politics??? The One who was going to make all things new? Maybe Mr. Wonderful should have read his own speeches before they landed on his teleprompter.
And he knows he's failed, because the guy who said if he didn't get it done in 3 years he'd be a one-termer is now whining that he needs another term to finish the job.

Joe is correct in his observation that Obama doesn't like his job. However, Joe likes his as do all the MSM talking heads, and as it become more obvious that Obama is going to lose his next year, more and more of them will start jumping ship. Mika, along with most of the hardcore MSNBC Obamaphiles, will stay on board as the ship sinks.

Listening to comments from her father (which were more than likely indoctrinated into her and her "Obama picked Ambassador Brother" at a young age, then ALL opposing views must be banished and have a 1 party rule. In NY, Morning Shmoe and Bubbles used to have a radio show on WABC from 10 to 12. On that radio show, she ACTUALLY said that Capitalism had failed and It was time for America to institute SOCIALISM.
