I only got half-way through

I only got half-way through so far....but I have to comment on the part that the national debt this year will be 100% of GDP and is still growing. Levin is right...we're on track for economic collapse. Yup...that would certainly "fundamentally transform" this country.
Update: I'm done....all I can say is....Wow!
Preach it, Mark!!
MB – Yup! A good speech!

A bit long winded at times, but he covered the essence of the conservative/constitutionalist cause brilliantly. His listing of Federal Regulations covering the home (and other items) was a real eye opener.
I would like to see a new Constitutional Amendment along the lines of:
1. “Regulations and Administrative orders promulgated by any federal governmental department or agency under the control of the Executive branch will not have, nor be presumed to carry, force of law unless each specific and individual regulation be approved by both the House and Senate.
(a) “Executive Orders” shall apply only to the regulation and administration of the Departments and Agencies of the Federal Government.”
"Wow! I've been waiting years just to get that off my chest," he said in the manner of one who congratulates himself as only a raving lunatic can.

Is right. There is no dream as long as Obama is in office.
Thanks Noel

Mark is a true force. I wish we could get the equivalent in a Candidate.
I listen to the Great One
Submitted by ricklail on Sun, 11/06/2011 - 12:02pm.
I listen to the Great One about every might. He preaches this over and over but the libs won't listen. They call in to argue with him until he gets fed up talking points and drops the call. They are not going to listen to this speech. It will be torn apart by the MSM. I know that those tearing it part never bothered to listen to it. They got their talking points from somebody in the DNC who didn't listen listen but was sitting there responding to each word.
I want to mention something else. I watched most of the Hermanator and Newt's debate. They didn't tear each other down. They presented how they would do things. One other point. I think future debates should have the Congresscriters ask questions. We could get a lot more out of them if they were not so called journalist. I'd invite Democrats like Heath Shuler who were not there to ask dumb questions like you'd get from a Maxine Waters or John Lewis.
I'm not a huge ML fan but this was just excellent

Great as usual. I could not agree more with Mr. Levin's assessment of the state of our Union. We have abandoned the ideals and principles of our founding fathers and heading towards a cliff. Both political parties have brought us to the brink of ruin. Its do or die time for the Republicans, they can either continue to be part of the problem or be the solution. I am ready to march on without them if all they are willing to provide is watered down conservatism.

If you don't currently listen to the Great One from his bunker, here is a search to find an affiliate. It can also be heard on Sirius XM from 6 to 9 EST on channel 125, The Patriot. Stay tuned after that for Cam and Company. I honestly get more from these two shows than I do from Limbaugh or Hannity. Mark and Cam are not there to entertain but give the facts.
Individual Sovereignty
Submitted by Phryj1 on Sun, 11/06/2011 - 3:31pm.
The left would prefer that people don't even think about that. For the left, it's all about collectives -collective rights, collective bargaining, collective action, collective democracy (or whatever the heck they call that creepy repeat after the speaker thing), the collective good, collectivism- with no consideration or even acknowledgment of the individual. Not unlike the Borg.
The left does NOT recognize your individual sovereignty, only your 'right' to be part of the collective, and in turn, your obligation to serve it. State-enforced Comtean Altruism - the idea that it's your highest moral obligation to put others (society) first, and that even considering your own wants and needs is immoral- seems to be the left's Raison d'être.
Collective is one of those happy, shiny, feelgood words left-wingers seem to be so enamored of. Makes me wince every time I hear it, not unlike 'comprehensive reform' or 'diversity', because I know what they really mean (the left's justifications for shoving more government down everyone's throats).
Progressives seem to be completely averse to facts and logic. Apparently, reality has a conservative bias.

From Protein Wisdom on the occupunks attempt to disrupt this conference;
Think about it:what the OccupyDC mob tried to overrun last evening was in essence a call for the restoration of individual freedom and autonomy.
That is to say, the mob was, by it's actions, actually protesting against unalienable rights and the rule of law. - the fundamental building blocks of a society that offers equality of opportunity and freedom for the individual that no government can take away.
The hipsters love them The Man. And their underlying message is, 'enslave us - just so long as you promise to take care of us, too.'

Andrew Langer was there and saw the violence first hand. He was on the weekly roundtable on Cama and Company Friday night. He was late because he had been detain by one of the fools asking questions. He said they were using children to block the entrance/exits. Andrew Langer is the President of the Intitute for Liberty.
Children as human sheilds

I saw the video last night (kata had a link on here). When confronted about putting their children in harms way the mom kept insisting they were her children. I guess that makes it o.k.
If only Susan Smith had used that excuse, maybe she would be free now.
Would "Attorney General Levin?" be ok?

I am not usually a proponent of anyone leaving their highly effective position of strength in the conservative movement. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, for instance, are far more effective to the conservative movement, in my opinion, if they remained the pillars of media interaction.
And though Mark Levin is definitely a top tier media personality, his specialized knowledge and passion of defending and promoting the strict interpretation of the US Constitution, and in extension, the state Constitutions would bring a healthy and welcome presence to the country's legal representation at the top. I would definitely welcome his presence there.
Obviously, there may be other candidates whom may be more pertinently qualified though not as well known. But Levin does have the unique combination of becoming a talk show host based upon his rock-hard conservative principles, as well as authoring several books with highly articulated positions with regard to the US Constitution. A conservative President would not do much better than appointing Levin, providing we have the Senate as well.

Another broken promise. The most transparent convention EVAH! Charlotte area businesses are told if they want business they have to unionize. Unions being brought in to redo Time Warner Arena. The Charlotte mayor has lied to the people. Let's see if he gets reelected next week. This might sound racist. He is black so he will get reelected even though he has lied.

Ever since he started as a one hour fill-in show on WABC, and most of what he says is right on, but Ive noticed a pattern hes been on lately. He DESPISES Romney, more than Obama, and he will rip to shreads anyone who is for him. What he does to my governor Chris Christie, whom he calles Christie Creme-ha ha-is bordering on obsessive, esp since he endorsed Mitt, and hes been getting on Karl Roves ass, as well as George W and esp Jeb Bush, all because they werent in love with Perry. Well, weve seen the Perry machine come apart, so it wasnt out of the blue.
He also, which is even MORE disturbing, has been blaming Pres Bush for this whole economic mess, starting his endless newspaper readings-another "new" aspect of his show I hate-by putting the blame on Pres Bush-hey, he had to fund TWO wars, against terrorism, or did you forget about that- and while he was in office, at least until the Dems took over Congress, things were going pretty well. Now, revisionist history is one thing, but this is like EVERY night with this blowhard-yeah, I said it-as hes often wont to say. Watch your mouth, Levin, because if you start to piss off your conservative base, you wont have a show or audience left!
Nonsense
Submitted by Boudin on Mon, 11/07/2011 - 10:46pm.
Levin has said over and over he will support Mitt over Obama with no question. Also, he is concerned about Christie's pro abortion, and the fact he has not signed on with the other 29 Republican Governors to fight Obama care. As far as Rove is concerned, he is peddling Huntsman.

I see that o'bama wasted time playing golf at Fort Belvoir in Virginia on Sunday afternoon. This is after he scolded Republicans for wasting their time on the "In God We Trust" motto.
Doesn't he know that playing golf doesn't create jobs? And where is the MSM to point out his hypocrisy? {I know -- a pointless question}
