Gore Announces New Campaign and Worldwide Event to Re-energize Global Warming Hysteria

By Noel Sheppard | July 12, 2011 | 09:52

Nobel laureate Al Gore must be noticing the public's continued lack of concern for his money making myth about carbon dioxide destroying the planet.

On Tuesday, he announced a new campaign and worldwide event to re-energize global warming hysteria:

Today, The Climate Reality Project (formerly the Alliance for Climate Protection) announced a new global campaign to broadcast the reality of the climate crisis and mobilize citizens to help solve it.  The campaign kicks off with 24 Hours of Reality, a worldwide, live streamed event on September 14-15.

During the 24 Hours of Reality event, people all around the globe living with the impacts of climate change will connect the dots between recent extreme weather events — including floods, droughts and storms — and the manmade pollution that is changing our climate. From Tonga to Cape Verde and Mexico City to Alaska, the event will feature scientists, celebrities, business leaders and concerned citizens, along with former Vice President Al Gore. It will be broadcast live online over 24 hours, in 24 time zones and in multiple languages.

"The climate crisis knows no political boundaries. Ferocious storms and deadly heat waves are occurring with alarming frequency all over the world. We are living with the reality of the climate crisis every day. The only question is, how soon can we act?" said Vice President Gore.

I guess Gore noticed the total failure of last month's climate talks in Bonn, Germany, as well as last week's Harris poll which found "the lowest number who believe in global warming since the question was first asked in 1997 (44% now do, down from 51% in 2009 and 71% in 2007)."

The reality is despite all of his efforts to con people into believing a trace gas in the atmosphere is causing the planet to warm, fewer and fewer are buying it.

I guess that means it's time for another international dog and pony show to shore up all the financial investments he's made.

When are the media going to see through this charade?

extreme weather events — including floods, droughts and storms —

have been occurring for eons.

Before, they were considered "acts of God." Now they are the result of "climate change."

An "aha" moment for me - AGW is nothing more than an extension of the progressive, non-secular, new age concept of "man as God".
Thanks, Mom!

AGW certainly has all the characteristics of a religious faith except a deity, although some of its proponents worship Gaia or some such natural entity.

And like most religions, it will defend itself when threatened internally or externally, and the exposure of its fraudelent 'science' has put it on the defensive.

Prince Albert Gore is one of the bishops of AGW, and will lead the charge from his carbon-spewing private jet rides and several large homes.

Almostcowboy, perhaps here's another "aha" moment for you. It was for me. Replacing God with man is the raison d'tre of modern liberalism. Once you notice, you'll see that everything on the liberal agenda is designed to kill God, discredit his word, or humanize Jesus Christ. Everything.

One of my part time workers was commenting about how hot it was (Texas is having a second heat wave after the first one a month ago) and calling it global warming.  I said "No, it's just July.  It gets hot in July.  Sometimes we get rain, sometimes we don't.  It happens.  Been happening before you were born.  It'll keep on happening.  Ain't got nothing to do with us."

She tried to use the Algore talking points and I blasted away each one of them.  I even had to show her the air composition chart.  Air-composition  I pointed out that there was more Argon than there was CO2 and she asked what it was.

One thing I pointed out to her was that she's a Christian and I asked her "Are you sure that man is more powerful than God when it comes to the weather?"  She actually thought about it and decided man wasn't powerful like that.  I didn't want to point out that using a nuke is about the only way man can alter the weather(not to mention a helluvalot else).

So if they are Christians and you remind them of that, you can win an argument that way....most of the time.

And I think that ALGORE and Tipsy were also the inspiration for that smarmy little tale 'Love Story'.....................But ALGORE just bought a big mansion in Santa Barbara (what about the Pacific Ocean rising, AL???), and he's got to finance his jet and limos and everything else that he needs to travel around hyping up his scam.

Interesting story - my son used to work at the local gas station back in the 90's when Clinton/Gore were running the show. ALGORE was vacationing down at Hanalei Bay, which is just a few miles from here. Of course, the security had half of Hanalei off limits, and even the people who lived around there had to deal with the security. Anyway, one mornng a big limo pulled into the gas station while my son was working to fill'er'up.......and it was ALGORE'S driver and security. They NEVER turned the car, or the AC off..............and my son was talking to them, and they told him that the limos (more than ONE!!!) were ALWAYS running with the AC on, 24/7!!!! So much for 'global warming', huh???

A "Love Story" to Al Gore

Submitted by pat_henry on Wed, 07/13/2011 - 2:34am.

Interesting bit of trivia.

And in honor of His Goreness, here's a reworking of the song "Love Story"

Where do I begin
To tell the story
Of a scam's longevity?
The climate's changing,
But that's older than the sea
What is his goal? Environmental piracy
Where do I start?

With his first hello,
Al Gore displays how low enviro-hacks can go
Talks of the earth's core on an NBC talk show
Eh, only wrong by millions of degrees or so
He fills his pants...

He fills his pants, with leftist hippy crap
With Satan's songs, and UN power pap
He fills our souls with so much fear
That anywhere we go, we're carbon-counting
With him around, our angst is mounting
I grab the remote
He's always there

How long does it last?
Can dumb be measured by the hours in a day?
Devoid of knowledge, yet he has so much to say
I know he'll bloviate till Hades fades away
And he'll be there

Hey Al, here's another theory

Submitted by 4eyes50 on Tue, 07/12/2011 - 10:55am.

This planet was created with one satellite orbiting around it, called the Moon. Now, there are hundreds of satellites, in a closer orbit around the Earth, along with the space station. What if they were somehow responsible for disrupting the orbit and causing the shifts of polarization? Doesn't that make any sense to you?

See? Anyone can come up with a "theory" about the supposed climate change. The problem is, if you don't believe in Creation, you then won't accept that this earth was made to take care of itself. You also wouldn't believe that the Creator, who could see into the future, would have allowed for the use of all the materials He put here in the first place! Stop putting Him in a box!

How did this start?

Submitted by dknolte on Tue, 07/12/2011 - 11:27am.

I’ve often wondered how this all got started. I can imagine Al Gore sitting with a few of his cronies with cigars and cognac, when Gore bloats: “You know, I bet we can come up with a ridiculous threat and convince everyone it’s real, and make money off it.”

One of the other jackasses says, “You mean something like a comet coming to Earth?”

“Nah, something more bizarre. Like the air we exhale is a poison and causing the Earth to warm,” Gore replied back.

“I can’t imagine the people would be that gullible.”

Gore stated, “I bet you a million dollars, .. and a bj, we can do it.”

“You’re on!”

...110 million years ago was a tropical region where dinosaurs roamed. More important, it was a time where CO2 concentrations in the Earth's atmosphere where at historic levels. In fact, there was no ICE anywhere on the planet. Yet, somehow humans were not responsible for the historic CO2 level and humanity did nothing to lower it either. Go back to 600 million years ago and you will find the Earth was completely covered by ICE.

What is Snowball Earth?
http://snowballearth.org/what.html

When did the snowball earths occur?
http://snowballearth.org/when.html

Does Gore's myth, Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) explain such drastic changes in the history of Earth's climate - NO. The past 11,000 years have been relative stable as climate change is concerned, yet about 6,000 years ago a lush wetland savanna in Africa became the Sahara Desert in one generation (about 100 years). In addition, this period of time saw other drastic changes in climate like the Medieval Warming Period and the Little Ice Age.

Again, this was long before the industrial revolution when humanity began to rely on energy sources like oil and coal that cause an increase in carbon dioxide. Can Gore and his ilk who worship at the alter of global warming offer an explanation for these changes in climate? - NO. To attempt to explain these changes in climate would refute their myth.

Al,
we have fossil's of JUNGLE plants that the Dinosaur's ate in where? MONTANA! Therefore, most of North America was what? That's right a JUNGLE. So what can we deduce from this? The Earth was HOTTER!. So it's not Global Warming, it is the Earth returning to its' original state. Which means, higher ocean levels, less polar ice cap, more active volcano's (see iceland for reference) and hotter temperatures.
Here endeth the lesson.

the data accumulated in the last 10 years regarding our atmosphere leads me to believe the so-called experts in the debate are either not actual scientists or just plain liars supporting some kind of massive redistribution of wealth.

real scientists would not make definitive conclusions based on the amount of data we have without waiting until we understand all the variables involved, especially how that big yellow sun thing changes everything with a burp.

when algore tries to point to us (man) as the cause basing his assertions on the same tiny teeny amount of data without commenting on how much of his bad gasses are spewed forth when 1 volcano erupts and how much we produce in comparison simply proves he is a snake oil salesman, and not a very good one at that..

Environmentalist Millenarianism

Submitted by rogue operator on Tue, 07/12/2011 - 12:15pm.

All religions have their prophets, and the environmentalist left surely has theirs. But unlike prophets of non-secular religions, these charlatans preach asceticism while luxuriating in the bounties of capitalist-industrial society. When you are the latest Jesus Christ Superstar on the scene, words and deeds are besides the point.

These state-sponsored televangelists are not adherents to their own dogma. They mouth the words at the public pulpits, but their actions are best predicted by the old homage, “follow the money.”

But let us not be fooled by these grifters’ rhetorical sleight of hand, as clumsy as it may appear to the well-trained eye: these people are deadly serious. It is not just money these moneychangers are after, as adept as they are at changing our money into thin air. No, these new fools are all about power. To borrow from the old canonical language, their motives can be found by asking the simple question, “Cui bono?“

Clinton, Gore, and Obama have made lying acceptable to so many usful idiots in America and around the world. In particular, they have made lying to the young and impressionable an art form. Their followers include children from grammar school to college whom they attempt to indoctrinate daily. In the meantime, they pad their own bank accounts through shaddy, unprincipled deals based upon their lies. They are the lowest of the low---mountebanks,charlatans, con artists. Until we are rid of scum like these three and so many other liars who have no principles, the chaos which is the world today will continue. Sad.

Gore's Expenses

Submitted by Charles Higley on Tue, 07/12/2011 - 12:51pm.

I hope so much that this new campaign costs him a fortune.

They credit their failure to poor communication but we cannot rule out stupidity. A recent study showed that, if you cobble up fake warmist and skeptic sites using actual materials for warmist and skeptic sites, respectively, people visiting the skeptic sites are less confident that global warming is real. What did they learn here? I really have no idea! If you make up a fake shoe sales site, would you be surprised that people go there to buy shoes?

What the study does show that the real science of the skeptic sites has some quality that the warmists simply cannot understand—the science makes sense, is logical, and can be tested. Duh!

Anthropogenic Tectonic Catastrophe

Submitted by ruby2ssday on Tue, 07/12/2011 - 9:25pm.

I'm starting a new movement. Want to get in on the ground floor? It is ATC or Anthropogenic Tectonic Catastrophe. The tectonic plates of Earth where all the continents are located are moving around too much. Just think if the North American plate were to once again move down to the equator. Oh the humanity! It is being caused by the concentration of people in certain localities. The Earth is out of balance. How can we stand by and allow more earthquakes caused by ATC. We must stop it before the Arabian plate breaks off of Africa and all those African moslems are stranded with no way to get to Mecca. What if all the people in Europe moved to France and Spain and the whole Eurasian plate tipped over? The way to stop this is a global tax on people who are located in the wrong areas. Of course I will personally collect all that tax money to make sure it is fairly distributed. Well, what do you think? Copyright pending.
