Breitbart Challenges MSNBC's Bashir to Take a Lie Detector Test
Following Martin Bashir's absolutely pathetic interview with Andrew Breitbart Wednesday, the conservative publisher has proposed a $10,000 bet with the perilously liberal MSNBC host.
"I’m willing to take a lie detector test next to him on anything," Breitbart told WOR radio's Steve Malzberg Thursday, "if he’s willing to take a lie detector test next to me talking about whether he read my book" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
ANDREW BREITBART: I will, look, how about this? How about a $10,000, I’m willing to take a lie detector test next to him on anything, Sherrod, all the stuff, where he thinks I’m Mr. Selective Edit, all the propaganda against me, if he’s willing to take a lie detector test next to me talking about whether he read my book.
STEVE MALZBERG, HOST: Alright, great. So you’re making this challenge.
BREITBART: Absolute, well, you know, I’d, let’s see. Let’s just have a lie detector test because he could read the book between now and then. But he did not read the book.
MALZBERG: Well, if he had read it, you could always preface it the question would be asked to him by the lie detector administrator, “Did you read it prior to the interview?”
BREITBART: There you go.
MALZBERG: Yeah.
BREITBART: I’m willing to take that. I’ll, I’ll do my lie detector…
MALZBERG: Ten grand. Ten grand.
BREITBART: …he can do his lie detector test.
MALZBERG: And for ten grand, right?
BREITBART: Yes.
For those that missed it, Breitbart on Wednesday accused Bashir of having not read his book "Righteous Indignation" prior to their interview, and instead just got talking points from the George Soros-funded shills at Media Matters.
This certainly wouldn't be the first time liberal media members have questioned conservative authors about their books without having actually read them. Frankly, it happens all the time.
In this instance, Breitbart has marvelously thrown down the gauntlet.
Will Bashir accept the challenge?
Stay tuned.

It was very obvious he didn't read the book as he stated he did. Half the stuff he commented on, wasn't even in the book. He talked about his agenda, not the book. It will be an easy 10 grand for Breitbart as bashir will chicken out. Bet you 10 grand he refuses!!

would be ashamed of Bashir for "speed reading" Breitbart's book and only comprehending the snippets that he underlined because it fit his bias to go after Breitbart with. As for comprehending the book and what each incident therein described and what is learnable, no chance.
Liberals Don't Read...

Liberals don't read anything, just as Nancy Pee-Lousy well illustrates! They work off from talking points or in the case of Congress, they pass legislation without reading it. After all, they have to get on with their fact finding trips to the Riviera! The same goes with lame stream libs. They just go over the pre-rehearsed lines submitted to them by their masters in the DNC, George Soros, The Daily Kuss, and Media [Truth Doesn't} Matters!
"Old Soldiers never die, they just fade away"!

MSNBC is either growing bigger or it's imploding -- it is hard to tell because the left's circular cheering squad never stops its flacking for one another.

I will be curious to see how their numbers are after the upcoming sweeps in May.

Before reading these comments, I was thinking MSNBC won't be on the air long enough for this challenge to happen. Comcast can't be stupid enough to keep leaking money on a recent acquisition. GE could write it off in exchange for the Facist relationship they had with Obamalinsky.

would have to re-invent the lie-detector to "hook up" to Chris Matthews.
Question: "Do you ever lie on your program Mr. Matthews"?
Matthews: "No, never"
Camera scans over to lie-detector as the machine goes up in smoke.
So it was him!

I thought I recognized Bashir in the checkout line at my local Borders last night ... he was buying Breitbart's book and a DVD of Gunga Din.
Dang!

"Will Bashir accept the challenge?"
Of course not. Bashir will use this as an excuse to further attack Breitbart.
Lie Detectors Are Not Sufficient:
Submitted by Comrade Jim on Fri, 04/22/2011 - 9:33am.
Some in the MSM are so deranged that they actually believe what they are saying, so a lie detector wouldn't register anything. Also some may simply have empty heads - they are often called airheads.
Thus, we also need derangement detectors and airhead detectors.
