Bill Maher Calls Sarah Palin A 'Dumb [Vagina]'

The sexist media attacks on Sarah Palin clearly know no bounds.
On Friday, in the middle of his opening monologue on HBO's "Real Time," Bill Maher actually used a highly derogatory term for a woman's vagina while referring to the former Alaska governor (video courtesy Jeff Poor follows with transcript and commentary, serious vulgarity warning):
BILL MAHER: Oh, and did you hear this? [Laughs] Sarah Palin finally heard what happened in Japan…
[Audience laughter]
MAHER: …and she’s demanding that we invade Tsunami. I mean, she says, “These Tsunamians will not get away with this.” Oh speaking of dumb twats, did you…
[Audience laughter and applause]
MAHER: Oh, you’re right, yeah I let the cat out the bag on that one, huh folks?”
Is the universal media hatred for this woman so pervasive that it's now acceptable for a man to call her that?
Can the dreaded C-word be far behind?
At what point will women's groups such as NOW step in and complain about this disgracefully sexist treatment?
Or has the double standard surrounding women on different sides of the political aisle now reached a point that anything no matter how vulgar or offensive is totally acceptable if it is said about a conservative?

I was commenting on "nuance" and how it seems people have in common what a word or phrase means to most, so when it's used, that's what heard, not the lessor known/newer application.
When the speaker {or his/her defenders} explains they meant how *they* understood it's meaning, and it was NOT the normal usage, it sounds like rationalization to me, always has. No matter who does it. Our language is so fluid, it's easy to play this game, but I don't have to like it.

We are debating the legality of "Obamacare" and the "tax" of the individual mandate. The commerce clause is being used and cases like Filburn, Raich, Heart of Atlanta Hotel are being brought up. On the other hand, i and others in the class are saying that the government can't punish individuals for choosing not to be part of a market, for inactivity. All the cases named by judges who have upheld "Obamacare" deal with an activity, not inactivity. Sadly, there are about three to four in my class who have already brought up attacks against Foxnews, conservative websites that I and others have linked to. Overall, though, an interesting debate based on the Constitutionality of Obamacare. The professor asked us if judges should be considering health care or the health care services/market. A classmate brought up Judge Sheeh's decision, in which the judge said that, "....healthcare services are a fundamental need..." to which I clearly say that this is a judge stating his personal bias into a court decision, thus he should have recused himself since by his own words in his decision he proved he could not be an impartial arbitrary. Of course, there is ZERO agreement whether or not health care services are a fundamental need. I am unsure how this judge could insert such language into his decision. Of course the Left wingers in my class are having a heart attack. It is fun to watch.hmmm....where are the breaks

That really helps the "look and feel" of NB as well. (although it doesn't fix this stupid comment nonsense).
If not, go to the Forums...Matthew posted some new code for the "Stylish" add-in for FF. At the bottom of the Forum, I posted the instructions how to do the whole shebang.
Apologies to any and all who know how this stuff works, but I was getting a lot of pm's and whatnot, asking for help, so I just put it out there.
The upgrade in FF and the new style/code really helps...the widescreen effect is much better, it gets rid of all of the icky comment numbers, and the comments are now displayed in alternating grey/white boxes, with a nice border, like the old NB. They're still working on the formatting, but it's getting better.
