Wisconsin Dem Assemblyman Tells GOP Assemblywoman 'You Are F--king Dead,' Media Mum

A Wisconsin Democrat Assemblyman turned to a Republican Assemblywoman in the middle of a legislative session Friday and said, "You are f--king dead."

Despite the following report from the Northwestern at 12:53 PM Monday, no major media outlet other than Fox News has covered this disgusting story:

Rep. Gordon Hintz, D-Oshkosh, called Rep. Michelle Litjens, R-Winneconne, Monday morning to apologize for his comments that Litjens described as containing an obscenity and the words “you’re dead.” Last week, he accepted responsibility for being issued an ordinance violation for visiting a massage parlor in Appleton that was the subject of a prostitution sting.

The Daily Caller's Jeff Poor on Monday linked to the website of Wisconsin's Newsradio 620 WTMJ which judging by the first comment reported as early as 10:43 AM:

Last Friday.... after the Assembly voted to engross the Budget Repair Bill, Hintz turned to a female colleague, Rep. Michelle Litjens and said: "You are F***king dead!"

In this post-Gabrielle Giffords world, with calls for a new civility, a man that was just busted in the middle of a prostitution sting says "You are f--king dead" to a woman on the floor of the Wisconsin assembly, and America's media couldn't care less.

Despite this being reported no later than 10:43 AM, a Google news search identified that apart from Wisconsin outlets, only Fox and conservative websites thought this was at all newsworthy.

As of 12:30 AM Tuesday, according to LexisNexis, no major news outlets reported this event. Closed-caption records for ABC's "World News," CBS's "Evening News," and NBC's "Night News" also found no coverage of this issue.

Imagine for a moment Hintz was a Republican and Litjens a Democrat.

This likely would have been the lead story for all three broadcast evening news programs as well as the focus of every hour of reporting on CNN and MSNBC with calls for Hintz's resignation.

But much like what happened at ABC's town hall meeting when a survivor of the Giffords shootings said "You are dead" to a Tea Party leader in the audience, our media clearly don't care when liberals publicly threaten conservatives.

Now this standard extends to a male Democrat elected official vulgarly assaulting a female Republican on an Assembly floor.

Makes one think it's journalism that's bleeping dead!

Why is this man still in

Submitted by Van Halen on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 12:58am.

Why is this man still in office? Didn't he get busted patronizing prostitutes right before this latest episode of threatening a fellow official? Better question, what is Rep. Litjens doing about this? Where are her family? If it were my wife or mother or daughter, I'd be in that guy's face quick.

If we don't do something now, then one of our people are going to get killed. And you know what's going to happen after that? Nothing. Nothing at all except that the JournOList media, realizing that they have to do something fast to cover for the Left will, as one, spin the murder to be Palin's fault. And we will be told by our leaders on the Right to 'remain civil'.

Someone with organizing power needs to move on this guy and hard. He has to be made to step down. NOW and the Leftwing media have to be called on their silence. This has to be publcized from the rooftops. Clearly this guy is out of control and thinks no one can stop him.

They will do nothing - you can hear the crickets from their corner.  Just like when the Bill/Monica thing came out we will be greeted with silence.  If Bill had been a Republican President the demonstrations in DC would have made what is going on in Libya look like a social gathering of polite English society.

The forensic tape analysts at NewsBusters cleaned up the exchange between Rep. Gordon Hintz and Rep. Michelle Litjens that was hard to hear in the noise and uproar after the vote:

Hintz: You're f-cking dead!

Litjens: Yeah? And you're f-cking prostitutes!

Why is he still in office?

Submitted by DontFeedTheTrolls on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 6:51am.

Well I will tell you why. Democrats have never claimed to have any morals, any standards, any rules, only Republicans have made that claim, so any immoral act means nothing to a Democrat, only Republicans are required to follow a moral path. A Democrat can lie, cheat, steal, rape, and murder and not be held accountable. Really. Rangel, Kennedy, Obama, Clinton, etc. all caught in immoral or criminal activities and none, NONE, resigned, or have even been asked to resign. Then look at the other side of the coin. A Republican caught jaywalking will be forced to resign.

This man is still in office because he is an elected D

Submitted by TheHistorian on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 8:13am.

Ever hear of Jerry Studds, the guy who was making it with underage Congressional pages?  He got 5 more terms in MA as a US Representative.  Or how about a former Senator named Ted Kennedy, who was caught with his nephew in a pretty nasty thing in Florida.  Or how about a guy named Bill Clinton, accused of rape and perjury, cruising on to a second term victory.

You have to be Republican to be voted out on a morals charge; the unions and lib groups love the immoral clowns, because they behave just like their leaders and that gives the groups both someone to relate to and someone to threaten with exposure (blackmail).

Where's the CDC?

Submitted by JakeMo on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 1:17am.

Based on the pictures, I'd have to diagnose this as a malignant case of Palin Derangement Syndrome -- it appears to have metastasized into a full blown case of ACFDS (Attractive Conservative Female Derangement Syndrome).

With his visit to the massage parlor, I think it's likely his ACFDS was brought on by subconscious feelings of inadequacy manifested as misogyny.

The outbreak of ACFDS appears to parallel the insidious but more prevalent BCDS (Black Conservative Derangement Syndrome) that has had a devastating impact on the liberal community and is most often brought on by latent feelings of racism.

If ACFDS continues to spread at this rate, I predict the entire Democratic party will be infected by 2012.

The BCDS would be funny except that it seems that the Democrats want to revive the KKK to take care of the conservative "Uncle Toms". I read somewhere that Republicans got lynched by the KKK as much as black Americans. Search it .

Not only have they hit an iceberg but there are backing up and hitting it again, and again and again and again......

Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

At least in the Democratic Party I have seen the fulfillment of my favorite Wizard of Id cartoon strip.

The King is sitting on the throne and Bung is on one of the steps to the throne.  The King is going on about how his Kingdom is a true melting pot of people of many races, creeds etc etc etc.  Bung then states that there is only one thing wrong with a milting pot.  The King asks – what is that?  Bung replies that everything at the bottom gets burned and the scum floats to the top.

Inherent in much of leftist ideology is real hate and vitriol. It isn't much of surprise that they, along with the leftist media, project all of that onto the Tea Party and the GOP in general. They (think they) see in others what they cannot face in themselves.

Submitted by Miss_Me_Yet on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 8:34am.

This being swept under the carpet is a direct result of Barack Obama's corrupt, un - American, subversive relationship with the MSM.

The president is personally responsible for all of the chaos and physical altercations directed at Republicans, Tea Party members and " FOX NEWS " employees around the country.

Obama is nothing more than a punk, turned community organizer, turned domestic terrorist in chief.

The fact that he runs his criminal enterprise directly out of our White House at the American taxpayers expense is outrageous at best and actionable by impeachment from office for High Crimes Against the State.

Inciting violence against one group of Americans (conservatives ) by others  ( liberals, dirtbags, minorities ) through his own words ( vilifying gov's. Walker, Brewer among others ) and actions ( him personally trashing Tea Party, now silent about his thugs verbal & physical assaults on American citizens ) prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, his culpability in terroristic acts.

We the People have put up with a lot of nonsense from this interloper, him creating this dangerous, untenable atmosphere of hate for his own personal and political expediency is the straw that broke his camels back.

He must be removed from office now. Hopefully he'll go quietly & orderly, but more likely kicking & screaming is his style.

... that's the question that I keep asking myself.  What the hell has happened to the concept of men standing up for women when they are attacked by another "man?"  I mean, equality is a great concept, but sometimes you need to step in for the weaker person, be it a woman or a child.

If one of these democrap "men" went after my wife/sister/child/friend, I would call them out in a heartbeat, and they would either show up or shut up.  They might be able to kick my ass,(which I now understand is a Federal crime because I'm "old") but, by God, they would never make that same mistake again!

We want to fix bullying in the schools? how about we fix bullying in politics and push back.  I have no interest in compromise with this bunch of pricks.

So Todd Palin, don't feel like you need to hold back.  Call the bastards out and set an example for the rest of the conservative men in this country.  Being president ain't worth it. No jury in the world outside of a couple of cities will convict, so just be picky where you bust heads.

I, for one, believe we women were better off before NOW insisted men weren't allowed to hold doors open for us and taking care of our husbands and children wasn't a job in and of itself.

Women's lib only a part

Submitted by Agnostic on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 10:32am.

The push for several generation has been to push liberal ideas in American society that have brought about the inability for the modern man to stand up for himself and his family in any meaningful way.  From the schools suspending everyone involved in fights regardless of reason to making it illegal to physically and sometimes verbally to be defensive has crippled much of society.  Bullies less frequently learn people will fight back and smarta$$e$ never get put in their place.  The laws and rules have been formed in the expectation to reduce violence and while violence has dropped in some ways, so has civility.  Kind of the same idea with gun ownership - you are less likely to run your mouth if someone is going to shut it for you.  If the law and the media PC police are going to defend you because you have a 'D' after your name what is the incentive to not run your mouth.

In this case, being arrested wouldn't bother me so much as the the money spent in fines and defense and the time away from family and work.

Yes, which is why I hope he goes through the humiliation of arrest in front of his peers, fingerprinted with mug shot released to the local news, and thrown into a cell to contemplate his behavior.  I also would want a psychiatric evaluation and testing for drugs and alcohol.

His behavior is to be neither condoned via taciturn silence nor minimized by words.  It is a line that should not be crossed.  This is a situation where I hope a judge might want to make an example of him to educate the public of what's proper and what will incur strong punishment.

BTW, in the old days, I believe fellow Democrats would have taken him to the woodshed on their own.  That's how far they've lost their ways as a group nowadays - none of them seemed to give a damn about this creep to have policed their own.  Are these politicians waiting until forced by public exposure and condemnation to do something?  Pitiful.

Rep. Litjens has apparently declined, I believe mistakenly, to pursue any charges against this jacka$$. I really wish she would rethink this decision, because as we have all said here on this thread, a line was crossed, and allowing this incident to pass with a simple, and half hearted belated apology, is just not good enough and sends a message to the rest of the libnuts that they can say anything and get away with it just by apologizing...That's total bs, and a much harsher and more punitive consequence is called for in circumstances like this one...Enough is enough.

You are right on target about what this jerk's fellow Dems would likely have done to him, on their own, back in the day. Dems today, for the most part, have become the party of "anything goes"...There seems to be no standards for them anymore, no line that is too far for them to cross, no level too low that they won't sink to, which is why it is that much more important that as many of them as is possible need to be removed from office.

More than likely she's afraid

More than likely she's afraid of repercussions from this low life liberal or some of his fellow degenerate friends.

That's what the police and the courts are for...

Submitted by PrairieSky on Wed, 03/02/2011 - 1:48pm.

If that were the reason why she has declined to pursue charges against Hintz, and I don't think that it is, that's what the police and the courts are for. If she felt that she was in danger of some kind, she could get a restraining order against them...The fact that she hasn't gone after this fool, I think, may well just encourage others to behave in the same way...They might think that they can do and say similar things to her or to others, with impunity.

Who says this?

Submitted by Kingfish17 on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 9:56am.

"You are Fing Dead!"

Who says something like this?  When people get mad, they call each other names or swear at them.  I have never, ever heard anyone say this, in person.  I have never, ever, heard this from anyone, second-hand.

Even though Ms. Litjens accepted this guys apology, she owes it to her colleagues in the Wisconsin State legislature to press charges against this guy.  Telling someone they are dead, in anger, is so much different then getting mad and swearing at someone.

Exactly...Who does this guy think he is?

Submitted by PrairieSky on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 12:31pm.

A modern day Al Capone? This is the type of thing that mobsters and hoods would say to someone...Like you, I think that Rep. Litjens should press charges against this slime...Enough is enough and a message needs to be sent that this type of behavior will not be tolerated anymore.

Mr. Hintz has a bright future - if he plays his cards right.  So far, we have prostitution involved and gross disrespect for women.  All we need is an Oldsmobile, a bridge, a young "Intern"......you get the picture.

Because of Citizens United

Submitted by Ashrak on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 10:43am.

it is very likely that we are going to see some very interesting commercials during the 2012 campaign. The GOP may not have the guts to put together a string of examples about Democrats (and their supporters) actions, but private groups sure will.

And if the networks try to deny the ability to do ad buys that contain truth after truth, that will become the story - as it should.

Progressive Liberalism is dying on the vine by its own action.

That an individual right exists requires that some policy positions be removed from the table of debate.

On the commercial idea,

slightly O/T.  How about a shot of someone(obama) sleeping, with a red phone in the foreground?  As it rings and then goes to voice mail, a list of countries scrolls, Georgia, Honduras, Iran, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Piracy,  Israel, then Stimulus, Housing Crisis, Banking Crisis, Budget Crisis.  Thanks to Hillary for the idea, it would make a great campaign commercial.

I saw Rep. Litjens on Fox this morning...

Submitted by PrairieSky on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 11:48am.

She was being inteviewed by Jon Scott about this, and I have to say that she was more forgiving about this episode than I would have been. If one of my colleagues had screamed this at me, I would have filed a criminal complaint against him. This type of thing has to stop, and maybe if some of these unhinged Dems are slapped with charges for their outrageous behavior, they might think twice next time before they open their idiotic mouths.

Why does Rep. Hintz still have his job? The Dem leader should have done something punitive to this loon, immediately, but nothing has been done. The people in Hintz's district should be calling for his resignation...I would not want my representative behaving in such a manner. It took this jacka$$ almost 3 days to finally call Rep. Litjens to apologize, which he did only after this story went public. What a cowardly pos he is. What's even more amazing, is that these two representatives are from neighboring districts...They apparently know each other pretty well as a result, and yet Hintz behaved this way toward a fellow, and female, colleague. This guy should be gone, but I suspect that nothing will be done. The leader of the Wis. House Dems will, I'm sure, do absolutely nothing about this. I just hope that the people in Hintz's district will remember this, and vote this bastard out of office in '12, because he doesn't deserve to be there.

I don't understand why she chose not to press charges...

Submitted by PrairieSky on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 2:06pm.

against this imbecile, either...I sure would have...in a New York minute. This seems to be an ongoing problem with Repubs/conservatives...We are too willing to turn the other cheek and to forgive behaviors and actions that shouldn't be forgiven, or at least given a pass. I think this is done in an effort to to be seen as being willing to get along and to not be seen as being a grudge holder. I say to he!! with that...Someone, somewhere, has to stand up and say enough of this bs, it's not okay, it's not acceptable, I'm not going to "forgive" and "forget," and there are consequences for actions such as these. By giving a pass to behaviors like Rep. Hintz's, it just sends the implicit message that it will be overlooked, that it really isn't that bad and it's just not a big deal. Well, it is a big deal, and it's way past time that someone made that crystal clear. IMHO, Rep. Litjens missed an important opportunity here by declining to pursue this, and I'm sorry she did.

Yes these LIBS will walk all

Submitted by MaximusBraveheart on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 3:03pm.

Yes these LIBS will walk all over us and be HAPPY about it!  They are the same as Muslims who by culture only respect strength.  THEY are not Christian by nature, which is 100% opposite of the Muslim culture. Obama does not understand that, so when he bows to Arab leadership, it shows weakness that ASKS to be beaten down, and even deserves it from their perspective.

Submitted by PrairieSky on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 6:12pm.

these unhinged, hatefilled libs perceive the Repubs willingness to let bygone be bygones and to turn the other cheek, as weakness and fear, and this has to stop. Sometimes when dealing with people like this, who only seem to respect strength, strength is what we need to show, right back at them.

Yes this is a culture WAR

Submitted by MaximusBraveheart on Tue, 03/01/2011 - 4:01pm.

There is a war going on the REPs are getting taken to the cleaners because the public schools and droning MSM told them their values are wrong and hurtful... It is wrong for you to want people to get off welfare -- That's mean!  So you sit down and shut up like Obama, his union budies, JJ, and the MSM want.  We have been trained to sit back and take it while their "HOPE & CHANGE" reforms Amerika in their glorious marxist image!

This is war.  To win a war, you have to kill them or convert them.  Since we can't kill them, and that would be wrong, we must convert them.  You do not convert many people by being quiet.  The GOP has not figured this out, yet the DEMons yap through their MSM outlets 24/7.  They are not for fairness but for winning, even with an absolutely PROVEN losing platform!  UNREAL!  WAKE UP GOP!  Teach & use the media against them!

MSM: It's her fault

Submitted by jpwcpa on Wed, 03/02/2011 - 12:35am.

If this story does get any play in the media, the approach will be that she is to blame for provoking him into such a strong reaction to something she said or did. If she appeared to be pleased over the Assembly's vote, she will be accused of gloating, in which case they will say Rep Hintz's reaction was understandable. If she appeared completely emotionless over the vote tally, the MSM will say she is aloof, cold, heartless, etc over the plight of those on the losing side, in which case Rep Hintz's "fiery" reaction will again be portrayed as understandable.
