Ann Coulter Tells Lawrence O'Donnell: 'Sean Hannity Knows More Than You - You're a Democrat'
Conservative author Ann Coulter returned to MSNBC Thursday to spar with admittedly socialist commentator Lawrence O'Donnell.
At the end of a highly-entertaining segment dealing with Coulter's previously expressed support for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Ann marvelously told her host after he besmirched Fox News's Sean Hannity, "He knows more than you - you’re a Democrat" (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):
LAWRENCE O’DONNELL, HOST: You’ve said that you agreed that [New Jersey Governor Chris] Christie is soft on a few things. Now, you agree with [Sean] Hannity on that, and I guess you’re going to work on him on that.
ANN COULTER: Yes.
O’DONNELL: But you also made the point that Ronald Reagan was soft on a few things, too.
COULTER: Yeah, he was.
O’DONNELL: What was Reagan soft on other than raising taxes which he did a couple of times?
COULTER: I’m not telling you. I’m not going to attack the blessed memory of Ronald Reagan. You know, I mean, when he was Governor, the one, his biggest regret of his life was that he signed an abortion law. Now, this was before Roe v. Wade, so give him a break. It wasn't a big issue. And he said that was the biggest mistake he ever made.
O’DONNELL: He also raised taxes, which is something I don’t think Hannity knows.
COULTER: Overall.
O’DONNELL: Does Hannity know that Reagan raised taxes?
COULTER: Hannity knows all.
O’DONNELL: Oh, okay.
COULTER: He knows more than you - you’re a Democrat.
*****Update: Some readers have wondered if Coulter said "Dumb-o-crat." She has assured me that was not the case.

The thought of the idiot white house press corps having to try to respond Ann Coulter is simply too delicious to contemplate... Give it about a week and daily press briefings would be the biggest draw on TV... Would require figuring out how to put commercials on the darned things...
If half the Republican "leadership" had half Ann Coulter's balls, there would be no significant problems in the governance of our country!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the end of Reagan's first term, there was a much greater percentage of the U.S. population paying income taxes.
Currently, there are only about 93 million individuals out of a total population of 308 million that actually pay any income taxes. The $13 trillion federal debt works out to over $140,000 per person paying federal income taxes.

Christie isn't the man for the job either. Mike Castle supporter, pro cap and trade, pro amnesty, weak on gun rights, and silent on Obamacare while other Republican governors fight the good fight. One point about Reagan and taxes...if memory serves me correctly the Democrats in control of Congress at the time made promises to him if he would compromise on the tax issue only to double-cross Reagan on the promises they made to him AFTER he implemented the compromised tax issue. In a more expanded interview with Hannity the night (or two?) before, she said that she was picking Christie NOW, so that we don't end up with a John McCain as the Republican candidate in 2012. Now, she IS very politically astute. Any doubts out there about that? But also, she has no problem being "out there", so to speak. I am wondering if her support of Christie at this point is to gore conservatives a bit. Get them to really think about what we want in a candidate, go out and find him/her and support him/her to the hilt. Even if we do it to spite Ann (forgive me goddess), or to say "I told you so!" Get it? She's a big girl, and I get a sneaky feeling she would love to be proven wrong on this, but she IS doing conservatives a wonderful service. She is deliberately being provocative and telling conservatives to put up or shut up! I LOVE Ann.

As an registered Independent I sometimes vote Repulican and I sometimes vote Democrat. I voted for Obama last time, but I may not again. It is up to you people on this site to convince me to vote Republican in '12. I respect this site for its Republican viewpoint which I read along with Media Matters to get both sides of the issue. You need Independent voters like me. If you run Palin, I will not vote for her. Some folks on this site say the Democrats are afraid of Palin. I think they are afraid she will NOT run because she doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning. I can just imagine the faux pas fest the Democrats would throw up against her. Does the Katie Couric debacle ring a bell? She may be popular here, but she is not popular enough in the real world, where it really counts, to make President. You folks are going to have to do better than her before I will vote Reblican in '12.
Rebublican clowns like Coulter don't convince me either; to me she's just a dog and pony show trying to sell books. She may have called O'Donnell a dumb-o-crat? That's real mature. That's as dumb as some of the stuff Olbermann says.

We could give you a HUGE list of why the Chairman(which I refer Obama as) should not only be not voted into office again, but run OUT of office before his term is even up.
If you care about the country, if you care about the Constitution, and you care about the 10 Amendments as the backbone and law of the land, then you know the right answer to his actions of the last two years. Everything he has done has been unConstitutional, what with the banks, the auto industry, the lack of support to the illegal immigration problem in Arizona(especially after recent events), the Health Care law which violates the 10th Amendment, his treatment of our allies and our enemies(he treats our allies as enemies and our enemies as his long lost friends) and on and on. Someone made a huge list recently. They are constitutional crimes. And the country is suffering for it. We are worse off now than we were 2 years ago.
No one has said that Palin is running for President despire many people on here desiring that. She hasn't said it. But yes, she's very popular.
Now if this doesn't make a difference to you, then what I said in the first sentence of the second paragraph above must not be important to you.
That's what counts.

to Owasco- As a fierce independant you already prove you you are a wishy-washy voter who can be swayed by tricks, the media, or gifts. You already prove you do not deeply, instincively know what is best for freedom loving people. Your own comments prove that you fear the media machine and Democrat opinion. And as Anti- Palin you prove that you are a sheep able to be persuaded easily by pop culture or media to believe things that are not true. Palin has shown over and over again that she is a brilliant conservative mind. You don't believe it because you can't stand up to ridicule in the fight for your country. And finally your comment sounds vaguely like a threat. Run Palin and I'll vote Obama. That makes you a Marxist, hardly an independant. I (we) conservatives will vote for whomever we please as we please. Having said that, we welcome you to come along for the ride of the great conservative (common sense) comeback of a lifetime. Think it over. Be part of something great and fun. You will never regret your awakening. But you may eternally regret your actions if you join the anti-American forces. Palin or not, vote as you please, but I will not change my vote to please you. Nor should you for me.

The old bull Republicans have united behind Mitch Daniels, noted Indiana RINO. You could see this at CPAC.
I believe the TEA Partiers will solidly reject Daniels, or for that matter, Christie in the primaries. The problems will come in Caucus states where the party bosses, the old guard, will seek to nominate the RINO.
If either Daniels or Christie are noiminated, prepare for 4 more years of Obama.
