CNBC's Jim Cramer: Brown Win Tuesday Causes Huge Stock Rally As Investors Celebrate 'Pelosi Politburo Emasculation'

Former Barack Obama supporter Jim Cramer on Friday said the stock market would have a huge rally if Scott Brown defeats Martha Coakley in Tuesday's special senatorial election in Massachusetts.

"I think investors who are nervous about the dictatorship of the Pelosi proletariat will feel at ease, and we could have a gigantic rally off a Coakley loss and a Brown win," said Cramer on Friday's "Mad Money."

"It will be a signal that a more pro-business, less pro-labor government could be in front of us."

The often outspoken CNBCer marvelously declared it a "Pelosi politburo emasculation" (video embedded below the fold with partial transcript):

JIM CRAMER, MAD MONEY HOST: We know it's earnings season. You can no more avoid it than you could avoid getting your report card or worse - your parents getting your report card. You saw that today when people sold the market on allegedly weak earnings from Intel and JP Morgan, emphasis on allegedly. The Dow getting hurt bad, down a hundred big ones. S&P giving back more than a percent. But that doesn't mean that the most important factor in next week's game plan is an earnings report. Far from it. Come with me. The number you need to watch is the number that Scott Brown racks up against Martha Coakley in this amazing Massachusetts Senate race. I say amazing 'cause this was supposed to be a walkover. I mean, even a few weeks ago it was a lock for Democrat Coakley. But now everything's up in the air, and a Brown win would be devastating for the president's agenda. Let's put Brown, okay, and I don't mean UPS which I happen to own for my charitable trust. Particularly on healthcare reform, because Republican Brown has said he will definitely vote against the plan.

Brown in the Senate? That wrecks the 60-vote supermajority the Democrats have been counting on. It could spell the end for this almost year-long nightmare of a piece of healthcare legislation.

What does a Brown election mean larger than this? Well, first you're going to get a knee-jerk rally in all the so-called penalized stocks -- the HMOs, the drugs, the medical device-makers. I call it "knee-jerk," though, because these stocks have been on fire for months. Look at Cramer fave WellPoint, or United Health. 52 week high. 52 week high. Merck, 52 week high. It's been clear as a bell that the healthcare reform wasn't going to affect most healthcare stocks. That's versus what we thought last year.

More important, though, I think investors who are nervous about the dictatorship of the Pelosi proletariat will feel at ease, and we could have a gigantic rally off a Coakley loss and a Brown win. It will be a signal that a more pro-business, less pro-labor government could be in front of us. Hey, would you say it is more China like perhaps? No, we can never be as capitalist as the Communist Chinese. But how about a little bit less like the old Soviet Union? Yeah, that would be a bit more like it. Pelosi politburo emasculation! Everything from the banks, which are usually in the Democrats' penalty box, or the oils which are despised by this administration for being carbon, could be propelled dramatically higher all of this Tuesday night.

Delicious. Absolutely delicious!

Just goes to show

Democrats aren't that great for the market.  That's why they have to attack it every chance they get.

http://libfail.com

I never like to rush a three day weekend

but I wish Tuesday was here so we can get this over with this is killing me.

You and me both!  This

You and me both!  This would be an epic win for conservatives.  I am even more anxious to see the media try to spin it as a good thing for Obama.

I just gave Brown's campaign

I just gave Brown's campaign a donation, and I don't even live in MA.  That's how I show my hope and change.

Trust...but verify....

Before we all get our hopes up...remember Taxachusetts is the bluest of the blue states. All the Democrats are hoping, now, is to keep it close. If it's close they'll find the votes....somewhere...somehow.

I mean this seriously.

I wonder how many times someone named Ted Kennedy will vote Tuesday. I wonder how many times someone named Mickey Mouse will vote Tuesday. I wonder how many times someone named...

He'll be there

Teddy will be there....rising from his mausoleum to vote "Coakley...Coakley...Coakley" as many times as needed.

Heck, I fully expect John Adams, Paul Revere, James Otis, and anyone else the Democrats can fill out a ballot for to be voting "Coakley"! So I won't be surprised if Coakley under suspicious circumstances (as with Franken) ekes out a win, but I'd be thrilled if Brown pulled off an upset--by margins that Hugh "If It's Not Close, They Can't Cheat" Hewitt would approve of.

Forbus I'm not getting my hopes up prematurely

and I expect no less from the corrupt politicians I just want it over with.I will not lie though I am still hopeful for a win and none of us can be faulted for that.

HC

You and me both.I hope Brown wins but MA Dems could teach Chicago a thing or two on stacking the deck.I think it would be a great victory for people if Brown won.It would show that folks still have power if they exercise it.

Cramer

Cramer changes his mind every other day trying to be ahead of the next trend, or jump on an already moving train and pretend to be the engineer. He's a showman, a snake oil salesman, self-agrandizer, don't take him all that serious.

Mr. Brown Goes to Washington...

Martha "the Sock Puppet" Coakley goes to the cleaners.

"Liberalism is a mental disorder and if left untreated,

leads to Detroit."

My #1 concern is voter fraud.

Is anyone keeping track of all of the SEIU and ACORN slugs being bussed into Mass.? Will our people be at the polling places with video cameras? Will Chairman Coakley get the graveyard vote on Tuesday? Inquiring minds want to know.

ACORN and Black Panthers and SEIU

Have a long weekend to print absentee ballets and to polish their clubs.  If we don't want to be robbed in this election, we must watch the voting locations, watch for anything suspicious (like cars getting loaded with absentee ballets) and report it to the police, the news, as many people as you can.

Let's not get robbed again.  This is out chance to stop the bleeding.

swing high, swing low, which way, which day?

I remember when Cramer was all pro-Obeyme, then it looked like he wised up, and got smart, and then he changes AGAIN.  He strikes me as a collaborator who can't make up his mind which side to be on when conditions change day to day.

Rick Santelli and Erin Burnett are just about the only ones I like from CNBC.

-Jon

Cramer The Collaborator

He strikes me as a collaborator

That is a great description for Cramer.

They more I think of it, he's like the really old guy in the movie Catch-22.  "When Musolini was in power, I was very pro-Musolini.  Now that the Americans are here, I am very pro-America."

CHUMP

Who would be foolish enough to listen to a supposed capitalist that was so dumb and short sighted enough to back the Man-Child?  ICABOD

Cramer

Only saw this guy once. He seemed more like a showman than a businessman. If he indeed is pro-business and yet backed Obama, one has to question his judgement.

NEVER,NEVER trust a "liberal"

I hate to say it, but even if Brown wins on Tuesday, ObamaCare

...will not be affected in any way.

Yeah, I saw what Bawney Fwank said, but he's just trying to scare his fellow communists.

I still maintain there will not be another vote on CommieCare in either house of Congress. I believe they will cut a back-room deal to reconcile the two bills that have already passed, and send it to the former community agitator to be signed, thus bypassing a final vote.

Yes, I realize this is not how things are normally done, but without seizing control of our bodies, as well as out thermostats (and Crap & Tax will be implemented without any further congressional involvement) Obama's communist coup will fail.

Having been striving for this communist takeover for over 100 years now, these people have no intention of failing now. Not with "victory" practically within their grasp.

The communists appear to many to be in total disarray. Yet to this point, they have gotten everything they have wanted.

LOL - Yeah, I know. Go sit down and shut up, crazy uncle Dave.

-Dave

When liberty is taken away by force it can be restored by force. When it is relinquished voluntarily by default it can never be recovered. -Dorothy Thompson

Not that it means a lot,

Not that it means a lot, but I for one don't think you're crazy, Dave.

Well you may be, but your belief on the health care thing isn't a symptom of it.  LOL

They have already signalled that they are going to bypass regular procedures and get this through by hook or by crook.  I don't think they can do it without another vote, but this will allow them to pass it with 51 votes.

And here's why they're going to do it (emphasis mine):

“Even before Massachusetts and that race was on the radar
screen, we prepared for the process of using reconciliation,
said Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, chairman of the Democratic
Congressional Campaign Committee
.

“Getting health-care reform passed is important,” Van
Hollen said in an interview on Bloomberg Television’s
“Political Capital with Al Hunt,” airing this weekend.
“Reconciliation is an option.”

They were taking no chances from the beginning.  Because this is important!!  We're going to pass it because we know best, and we don't give a you-know-what WHO doesn't like it!!

The people are too stupid to know better, so they have to "parent" them, you know.

MB: and they're also going to attempt to "repeal-proof" it, too

AKA unprecedented, historical.

SCOTUS only hope

This is why the SCOTUS will be the only hope when the several groups out there (firms and etc) submit the suits against ObeymeCare, there's plenty of proof that this thing is unconstitutional, but there's also ample proof that it's anyone's guess which way the SCOTUS will go with it.

I know Scalia and Thomas and Roberts would declare it unconstitutional without a doubt, but I simply don't know about the other 6.  I have a feeling the "Wise Latina" might say "hey, it's ok, we can use it" and then you have the justices who look to International Law on some of their decisions, no telling which way they would go but I'd guess because other countries are doing socialized medicine, they might go with that too.

Anyone want to hazard a guess on their choices of the SCOTUS justices?

-Jon

Hey, jon t---

I'll hazard a guess.

I guess the value of the whole shooting match, ultimately, does'nt amount to the contents of a bucket of warm spit* if the SCOTUS is aligned votewise based on their political ideology rather than on what is inherently the right thing to do.

Let's assume that the IQ of

Let's assume that the IQ of the voters of Massachusetts grew to triple digits over the course of 2009 and that Acorn and the union goons fail to create enough fraud to compensate.   The loss will only be little more than a delay for the socialists to regain that seat.

In 2000 they tried to use the courts to overturn an election, and in 2008-2009 they succeeded when Al Franken became a national embarrassment in our Senate.  Pretty soon the left will be able to overturn elections as obvious with 60%-40% victories.

Even if THAT fails they'll drag the process out so long that they'll be able to pass this bill to create a socialized medicine framework.

Wow.  Just wow.

Cramer is talking his book..his positions

I am an options trader...this guys talks his book....if long he talks bullish..if short or flat he talks bearish....I would trust a rattler in the grass before I'd trust that blowhard.

I am flat in my positions....I have noidea what Brown means for the mkt...certainly it is positive in the long run but this bunch in DC have done lasting damage to the economy and the conservatives in Congress will NOT have the power to systematically fix the economyafter a Brown win....they might be able to slow down further damage to the economy by blocking cap and tax and other damaging policies but positive economic policies are a long way off.

Paarl of Rhodesia (of blessed memory)

blowhard just about sums him

blowhard just about sums him up..

Paarl

Paarl,

Cramer's always talking his book. That's what "Mad Money" is all about. That's certainly no surprise, is it?  ns

He nailed Pelosi's description tho

the dictatorship of the Pelosi proletariat

Sweet to Hear, But....

I have to wonder how someone can go from being a 'supporter' to a 'critic' in so little time.  Are we going to have to endure the endless prattle of liberals suddenly proclaiming they were 'just playing'?  Liberals lie and liberals are insane and liberals can't be trusted to ever have good sense.
