Despite MSNBC's extremely low ratings they keep plugging along using the same failed format.  This makes me wonder if maybe fear that the New York Times will fail and disappear has positioned MSNBC as the secondary promoter of "all the news that's fit to print"?

Obama certainly depends on them to deliver his message, and once MSNBC has spoken the rest of the lamestream media can position themselves as the "moderate" voices even as they tell the same stories as MSNBC, albeit without the same level of screeching.

I don't think I've ever seen the liberal media complain about a "largely black crowd," a "largely Hispanic crowd," or a "largely Asian crowd."  If they even bring it up, suddenly, THOSE crowds are celebrating their "cultural pride," or some such thing.  Well, more power to them, I don't have a problem with that.
