Amazon has announced its 2009 best selling books, and Mark Levin's "Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto" and Glenn Beck's "Common Sense: The Case Against an Out-of-Control Government" are number two and three respectively.
This will certainly ruin Chris Matthews' day, as the MSNBCer back in September agonized over there being "so much right-wing crap on the best seller list these days."
And who can forget Arianna Huffington last Monday wondering if "The New York Times [should] create a separate bestseller list for conservative blockbusters?"
With this in mind, we at NewsBusters hope the following announcement by Amazon brings tears to liberal media members' eyes from sea to shining sea:

Isn't it interesting that the names of Levin and Beck's books were not included in Amazon's summary along with embedded links to their respective sales pages?
Neither was Steve Harvey's.
I'm sure that was just an oversight on Amazon's part.

The only liberal "non-fiction" book in the top 20 was Teddy Kennedy's memoir, and it didn't break the top 10.
This truly demonstrates how out-of-touch with America people like Matthews really are. Don't forget: we're talking about "smart America" (the readers) here. Just clarifying for the Matthews types out there.

There was 3 or 4 books, & Levin's "Rescuing Sprite" has sold more then all of Matthews books COMBINED. Nobody watches Matthews, nobody buys his books, & yet he's still out there being paid millions to suck.
Not to mention BathTubBoy, who put out a couple of books as well. "The Worst Person in the World: & 202 strong contenders", & (don't throw up in your mouth as you read this)"Truth & Consequences:Special Comments on the Bush Administration's War on American Values". I'm betting that his sales numbers don't match his nightly ratings in the demo, combined.
The fact is that those who host shows on MSNBC are non-factors. They don't matter, & since they work at a bailed out company, should'nt their pay reflect their ratings?
