On Election Day, HBO will broadcast a documentary about Barack Obama's presidential campaign.

Though he's been in office for less than ten months, the cable network actually felt it was time:

BY THE PEOPLE: THE ELECTION OF BARACK OBAMA is a moving record of the Obama campaign's history-making odyssey to the White House. Interwoven with the drama of the campaign is never-before-seen footage of Obama behind the scenes, as well as interviews and candid moments with wife Michelle Obama, the couple's young daughters, Malia and Sasha, and senior campaign staff, volunteers, reporters, supporters and opponents.

Well, this is the straw that has finally gotten my wife's attention, and she will now allow me to cancel our subscription to HBO. I was ready over two years ago, but she wanted to hang on. Now, she can't wait for it to be gone. Not that it will matter to them much. If Showtime and the others contnue down this path as well, they will soon follow. So much for entertainment.

IMO Obama has done a terrible job so far, however the fact that he is the first African American President is a major accomplishment. We have come a long way since the days of segregated schools and MLK, "I have a dream" speech. So I do not believe HBO is jumping the gun on this one

Remember the day! The groundbreaking for the Presidential Library will take place at 4PM. It will be huge. Just the videos Barrack has collected, of himself, will fill a space estimated to be thrice that of the entire Bush two-term collection of all materials. The Post, NYT, and and the real television networks have graciously donated complete funding according to Rahm Emanuel. Kudos to HBO in this deciededly right orientated news and media atmosphere to step up to the plate in celebration of this momentious event. The historic election that occured this past november has been left to die in our memories as this low key champion of the American way has quietly but determinatly lead us since January. Taking on the washington insiders and throwing out coruption, allowing the American people a unique insiders look into how D.C.'s fallen have been operating in this unprecedented transperent administration. Yes, it was time that HBO bring the name Hussain back into our homes once again and remind us of who gave us the hope change and prosperity we are currently enjoying as a nation.

It must be a comedy, because obama is a joke. Who watches HBO, anyway. They suck, when it comes to programming. Why not just watch the Sopranos. You still get to see corruption. This is just more propaganda from the media, for obama.
