then most MSM commentators should be required to give a urine test for some of the completely asinine statements they make on a nightly basis. Wilson made one, they make hundreds if not thousands of equal or worse comments routinely.

Now how did it come to it that one Conservative News Network is represented by a learned, former legal commentator of CNN, who is a scholar and is poised and is graceful, elegant, well-spoken, and another Liberal News Network is represented by someone who you wonder if he needs a breathalyzer before he goes on camera where his viewers can see him rant and rave about Republicans?

How did it come to this that News Anchors used to be an image of objectivity, well-bred, intelligent, dignified people who just didn't interject their own biases and personal opinions into the news they report. What's happened here?

The GOP has started using the tactics of the left, to as great, or greater, an affect as the loony-left has, and, knowing how well those tactics work, they're scared, and a wee bit jealous.

Let's face it, there aren't many people who can take over for Olbermann, but O'Donnell must want his name at the top of the list.  I'm sure, in liberal communities, that's quite a resume enhancement.

The Euro-Socialist concept is not well liked by working America, just by 'victims' and other rent seekers and social pick pockets. It becomes totally obvious when you see they have no desire to debate on ideas, but rather to attack the messengers. I admit that shouting out "Liar" in a joint session is not good manners, no one on the left is pointing out that he was right and the President did lie.

Which reminds me folks, I've been following the controversy regarding Joe Wilson since it happened, and I do not recall a single article over whether Wilson was correct about the Bamster when he blurted out "you lie." All the discussion simply points out that he was perhaps indecorous in his declaration, and whether it deserved censure.

Isn't that interesting.

Since when did the fringe media ever see Republicans as wealthy intellctuals who didn't like taxation? For as long as I've been alive, the right has always been portrayed as angry rednecks who beat women and shoot minorities.

If Ted Kennedy was still here his would be above the allowed average for driving.  and I bet most of them would prove positive to Alcoholism.

Maybe Lawrence has a point (two points if you count the one between his ears, but I digress). But, don't confine the breathalyzer test to just Joe Wilson.  Make a breathalyzer test mandatory for each legislator: in the morning as they arrive for duty, and in the afternoon just after lunch.  If they show up with a BAC of 0.08 or greater, they are immediately sent home.  If they show up with a BAC of 0.08 three times within a 30 calendar day period, they are kicked out of the Senate or the House.

Also, make legislators subject to madatory, random drug tests, just like us peons out here.  And, if they test postitive, they are kicked out of the Senate or the House.

If that rule had been in place, we would not have been subjected to 50+ years of Ted Kennedy...which is an argument in favor right there.
