Last month, an MSNBC anchor claimed socialist was the new N-word.
On Tuesday, a contributing editor of the liberal website Daily Kos took this insanity a step further by creating and posting a picture depicting Tea Partiers as racists and Fox News's Glenn Beck as their leader.
Why are Beck and so many Americans deserving of this dishonor?
Because they are "fond of calling the Obama Administration a haven for 'socialist' and 'communist' radicals" (truly offensive picture below the fold with its truly offensive caption):

Old-school teabaggers and their new leader
For the record, Jed Lewison is not just a contributing editor. He is also the editor of Daily Kos TV.
As such, these aren't the views of just some run of the mill DKer.

It's another example of the left "trotting out the folk" to divert attention from a big-money boondoggle.

You know they are losing when . . .
September 9, 2009 - 10:16 ET by Galvanic. . . all they can do is play the race card.
By painting dissenters as overt or covert (or even subconscious) racists, they hope they can keep the ground swell from getting any bigger.
But as folks like the Daily Kos, Charlie Rangel, Jeanine Garofalo, and the MSNBC dweebs continue to play it, they merely incite more dissent.
The curious thing is that by letting it go unchecked, the White House merely exposes both its true worldview and its desperation.

September 9, 2009 - 10:45 ET by MazziInteresting that they had to use a picture that is clearly 40+ years old. Seems to me that if this was still the "common" sentiment of white people, there would be more recent pictures to photoshop.
All of the strides we have made as a society since that time seem to be irrelevant to the liberals. But clearly, it has impacted society. Sure, there are still extremists, but that's why they are called "extremists", because they don't represent the views of the majority.
I think it's actually amusing that they are so dense that they don't realize that the subtle message here is that THEY are clinging to the past. The rest of us have moved on.

September 9, 2009 - 10:58 ET by Chad...but I think we have a serious problem in the US. I think the radical left, communists, and marxists within our borders have been trying to put together a perfect storm for decades and I fear they are on the cusp. Despite still being a center right country, they have taken over control of most the major news outlets, most television and movies, the senate and house (or at least enough to have major influence), and a willing president that has surounded himself with the who's who of communist/marxist elite in this country.

This may sound crazy, and perhaps it is, but I am at the point where I think the only way they can be effectively stopped before it is too late is for a massive recall campaign to get as many of their congress critters out as is possible.

Refocus our efforts...
September 9, 2009 - 11:58 ET by nan101I believe that while they are in a tail spin, we the conservatives should prioritize our efforts and organize again as we have been.
They are distracting us with their comments, we can not let our guard down. I think Mark Lloydd is next up for examination since he poses the largest threat to our freedom of speech.
If we continue to march forward and are commited to being involved and being humble and honest they can not win. If God is for you, who can be against you.
Tea parties, letter writing, supporting our conservative voices. Beck, Limbaugh, Coulter, Malkin, Ingraham and the other brave individuals that have the platform and are not afraid to do the research and present facts.

It was built with the principles and blessings of God almighty and I am not ashamed to say there is no other whose name in Heaven we can trust.
