Have you seen this poster?
Apparently, it's beginning to appear in odd places in Los Angeles, but nobody seems to know who's responsible for it.
Radio host Tammy Bruce posted some pictures of this odd creation at her blog Saturday morning (h/t Pamela Geller) leading me to investigate further.
At this point, all I could find on the subject was an April 25 article from Bedlam Magazine:
A poster of Barack Obama in Heath Ledger-style Joker make-up with the legend 'Socialism' beneath it has been popping up recently on surfaces around L.A. It does not appear to be in the same category as the many benign take-offs on the Shepard Fairey 'Hope' poster, such as the one by Australian James Lillis (more of a straightforward spoof that merely substituted a Shepardized image of Heath Ledger as Joker on the Obama poster).

Compare the crowd that hangs out in your Woodworker's Supply store or whatever you have there, with the ones in the art supply store for example. No comparison.
Some people can find art in something like computer programming too, but again it's not the same. A friend of mine scupts figures from wood. I tried to get him to explain to me how to do it because one might think it an easy transition for someone like me. All he could say is that he simply removes the wood that is not part of what he visualizes. My brain just doesn't work that way.

At some point all over San Vicente Blvd. in Brentwood, handwritten signs saying "GUILTY!" popped up attached to parking meters, etc. I sure wish I had taken pics.
L.A. is a land of socialists but it only takes a few subversives to disrupt things. I hope the non-statist subversives in L.A. and around the country start a real guerilla campaign against President Stupidly. This is just plain cool.
