Senators John Ensign (R-Nev.) and John Thune (R-S.D.) participated in a blogger conference call on Monday.

On the agenda was President Obama's 2010 budget proposal which Thune cautioned if enacted in its current form would double the federal debt in five years and triple it in ten.

Those interested can listen to this fascinating discussion here (5.9 mb MP3).

Readers are also encouraged to go deep into the audio to hear just how much Obama's cap-and-trade program might cost every American if enacted.

Taxing Into Oblivion- Estonia?

From the greatest industrial power in the world, to a backwater swamp where no sane company would want to start a business or headquarter itself, Obama and company are destroying this country, culturally and economically.  I believe it is on purpose, but that is another discussion.  I just listened to your mp3 Noel, and aside from the possible civil war in the senate, and the unimaginable burden of cap and trade on middle income, i.e. less than $250,000 income earners, and the fact that they have the votes to accomplish all of this, what struck me the most was Estonia.

The question from the guy who facilitates corporate job exporting to Eastern Europe was earth shaking, imho.  The corporate tax rate in Estonia is 0%!  What corporation would not want to base operations in a country that offers that kind of financial incentive?  Here is a list of companies that have exported jobs.  When are people going to wake up and realize that their jobs hinge on our "rich" citizens and corporations being able to afford doing business here?  If other countries are busy setting up the economic and social climates conducive to business growth, why would our companies want to stay here when they are looking at future tax rates even higher than those currently in place?  Obama has promised.  This is not going to end well.

Long story short

Doubling a 10.2 Trillion Dollar debt in 5 years means that by 2014 we would owe $20.4 Trillion Dollars.

Again, that is $20.4 Trillion Dollars thanks to the great O's leadership!

I suggest changing the (D) in Obama, Reid, and Pelosi to (BDSM).
