Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) participated in a conference call with a number of bloggers on Wednesday.
On the agenda was the Fairness Doctrine, and what the Senator believes the Democrats have up their sleeves to attack conservative talk radio.
Also on the docket was an update on the potential for a carbon cap-and-trade scheme to be enacted by this Congress, and what Republicans are going to do to try to rein in spending (30-minute audio available here).
The good news is that Inhofe believes cap-and-trade will be defeated. The bad news is he thinks the labor-backed Card Check bill will pass.

Whether he was talking about his dislike for Henry Paulson or that some IPCC scientists are "bought and paid for", it's nice to hear some candor from a politician. Great point he brought up about Obama stuck between a rock and a hard spot with escalating in Afghanistan and yet trying to close Gitmo. Perhaps a glimmer of hope there. Thoroughly enjoyed it. They post like they are 18 year old freeloaders in mommy's basement wanting Uncle Sam to take care of them once they leave the umbrella of daddy & mommy. Yet they expect us to believe they are 60 year old college educated, trust funded, mortgage free, mommyless, wine cellared, military veterans that come come up with something more than Rush is fat insults.

There's no leading Republican figures, if there are, could you inform the GOP, they need to know.
