El Rushbo did a great job, as did many of the others at CPAC. I watched the entire 3 days and was impressed with most of the programing. Lots of good things out there for consevatives, Townhall.com has everything on their website.

I beg you Rush, and I know you are thinking about it if we don't get a leader with a fire in the belly to run for the party, about running yourself....and for that I thank YOU!

I stood up and cheered, I had tears coming down my cheeks, I laughed...you are what we need to lead, hopefully other conservatives that are thinking about running anywhere would do well to listen to your every word you spoke this afternoon....

Maybe, just maybe, someone will come out of the woodwork and the big-wigs behind the scenes that stuff moderates (Rhinos) in our faces to be PC and so-called inclusive candidates will go by the waist-side and we will get a candidate with fire and passion like you have to lead us...if not Rush, you know it is your patriotic duty to do the right thing and run! 

Great speech that left me wanting more!  Thanks for posting as I missed the broadcast!  Look forward to the rest of it!

Everyone has noticed the sense of entitlement from todays kids. Very good talk by Rush, he has taken "Rush is Right" to new level. Cant wait to read about this some more, and you know we will.

Limbaugh, huh. No college education. No military service. No self-control. No class. All mouth. He's the GOP's guiding light. Its de facto leader. A talkshow host who has parlayed political controversy into multi-million dollar radio contracts and the role of ethical and ideological compass on which the Republican Party is now relying. This guy started out as Wally George's sidekick and he has exhibited zero personal growth since those days.

Barack Obama when they speak? Both are excellent orators and have the ability to give good speeches. The difference is that Rush Limbaugh speaks honestly and clearly, while Barack Obama often handles the truth recklessly and obfuscates. Isn't it revealing that liberals, including the liberal mainstream media, believe that Barack Obama speaks more honestly and clearly than Rush Limbaugh?

I enjoyed listening to Rush talk at CPAC. For those of us who listen to Rush regularly, most of what he said at CPAC he has said often on his radio program. Yet, I never tire of listening to Rush. I enjoy listening to someone who believes in, reaffirms, and at times clarifies the same conservative values and principles that I believe.

With Rush's speech televised by FoxNews, CSPAN, and even the liberal CNN, you have got to believe that many liberals were fascinated enough to listen to most or all of it. Although they had heard about this "terrible person", it was the first time that many of these liberals had heard him speak.

Perhaps Rush was able to change some minds, or at least get some of these liberals to begin questioning what Obama's socialist policies will do to this country. At the very least, if they listened to the part where Rush clarifies his "I hope he fails", they will hopefully understand the intent of the statement rather than how the leftist media portrayed it.

I was all prepared to watch Rush’s speech on Fox assuming no one else would carry it. While moving through the channels I passed CNN and was surprised to see it there too. I ended up staying on CNN just to see how long they would televise him and would you believe, all the way to the end. I did not expect that. However, it still does not change my attitude toward CNN. And I just loved him continuously promoting throughout the speech, “My first ever address to the nation”. You know it had to send the liberals into orbit.

How can any of you libs argue with what Rush stated today?  Did you hear him say anything detrimental to or for or about the United States? 

What he advocated used to be known as common sense.  The fact still remains, people don't get angry when you lie about them, they get angry when you tell the truth about them. You can read the anger here today in these post.

Rush advocated only good things for citizens and for our country.  You libs always forget that politicians work for US.  They are hired by US, for better (Reagan) or for worse (Obama).

Your religion is killing us libs, as surely as the so-called "religion of peace" is. You do comprehend that it is YOUR money that Obami just flushed down an environmentally correct toilet don't you? 

Come back on this forum in one year sterling, shawn and inform us on how many jobs your "dear leader" has created.  I am keeping track.

As far as starting a civil war as somebody noted, it won't be up to us to start it, will it? But do not for one second think we will set by and get trampled.  We have elected people in Washington too, they are not all democrats, not yet at any rate.  57 million people voted against Obami, mister, we all have voices as well.  He, and you by extension, ignore us at your own peril.    

Are there any Liberals who after watching Rush Limbaugh's first address to the Nation that changed their view of Rush Linbaugh?

I have no doubt that if he so chose, Rush Limbaugh could win the Republican nomination for President. But he won't run. Shame.

i watched Rush on Fox, then i switched to CNN-i was suprised that they showed his whole speech till the end.  Fox captioning is not that great,they make  alot of typing mistakes. someone know where i can the transcript so i can read it.

i am not sure if this was ever posted on newsbusters, but i remember this phenomenon during the presidential runs of Obama and McCain.  the crowds would ALWAYS chant "Obama! Obama!" or that "Yes We Can!" bs during Obama rallies and speeches.  even during his inaugural address; however during McCain and especially Palin rallies, the crowd would ALWAYS shout "USA! USA!" and they did the exact same thing during Rush's first address to the nation.

to me, this is a striking difference between liberals and conservatives.  what are your guys' thoughts?
