Whether it's a shot at competitor Newsweek for putting Markos Moulitsas on the payroll, or a brief moment of clarity, Time magazine has named the disgustingly liberal website Daily Kos as one of the most overrated blogs on the Internet.
I kid you not.
Such a revelation seems even more odd given the absence of any conservative websites in Time's "25 Best Blogs of 2009."
But before we get there, here's what the magazine had to say about DK:
With the Bush years now just a memory, Kos's blog has lost its mission, and its increasingly rudderless posts read like talking points from the Democratic National Committee.
Hmmm. Frankly, its rudderless posts have read like Democrat talking points since its inception. Better late than never I guess.
That said, Time made up for this astonishing revelation by naming six liberal blogs in its best of 2009 listing: Talking Points Memo, The Huffington Post, The Daily Dish, Got2BeGreen, The Conscience of a Liberal, and Crooks and Liars.
For some reason, not one conservative blog made Time's list.
Why might that be?

February 18, 2009 - 11:56 ET by exLibAny publication that insists Ruth Bader Ginsberg is a "moderate" justice has lost all credibility.
It appears that last year they ranked AoS as one of the top blogs but made a point of the fact that they called Bush "Incompetent" and said he "Should Resign".
Ironically, HuffPo which they consider "the most powerful blog in the world" isn't held up for calling out their own.
Typical liberals, they love conservatives who, as usual, call it like they see it. But they don't have a problem with liberals who tend to walk the party line. Daily Kos must have said something to upset the apple cart.
Time and you are wrong.

It had been pointed out hundred of times that right has absolutely no clue about technology or making money in the technology. The gap is becoming wider and wider. Conservative message will become absolutely irrelevant fringe unless its platform is a successful business...

That's the glory of the interweb, isn't it? Surely you, being such an EXPERT on all things interwebby (as you modestly point out in the vast majority of your posts), surely you understand that empty boasts and claims are the tired, stale work of sad little douchebags.

February 18, 2009 - 18:07 ET by celatorSmoking Hot... I happened to be reading the Kos earlier today just for giggles and tickles, trying to catch their take on events. After some reading, I realized (again) that The Daily Kos really does suck. The writing is juvenile, the emoting is adolescent, and the faux righteousness is tedious beyond tolerance.
Plus, they are complete toolss for the Ds.
