Time Lists Daily Kos As One Of The Most Overrated Blogs

Whether it's a shot at competitor Newsweek for putting Markos Moulitsas on the payroll, or a brief moment of clarity, Time magazine has named the disgustingly liberal website Daily Kos as one of the most overrated blogs on the Internet.

I kid you not.

Such a revelation seems even more odd given the absence of any conservative websites in Time's "25 Best Blogs of 2009."

But before we get there, here's what the magazine had to say about DK:

With the Bush years now just a memory, Kos's blog has lost its mission, and its increasingly rudderless posts read like talking points from the Democratic National Committee.

Hmmm. Frankly, its rudderless posts have read like Democrat talking points since its inception. Better late than never I guess.

That said, Time made up for this astonishing revelation by naming six liberal blogs in its best of 2009 listing: Talking Points Memo, The Huffington Post, The Daily Dish, Got2BeGreen, The Conscience of a Liberal, and Crooks and Liars.

For some reason, not one conservative blog made Time's list.

Why might that be?

Time?

Wasn't that a newspaper or something or other back in the 70s?

Or maybe a Pink Floyd tune

Or maybe a Pink Floyd tune from that time.

Our clueless political leaders are about to drive us all over a cliff. The time to HITM is now-before we go over.

Time is useless

Any publication that insists Ruth Bader Ginsberg is a "moderate" justice has lost all credibility.

It appears that last year they ranked AoS as one of the top blogs but made a point of the fact that they called Bush "Incompetent" and said he "Should Resign".

Ironically, HuffPo which they consider "the most powerful blog in the world"  isn't held up for calling out their own.

Typical liberals, they love conservatives who, as usual, call it like they see it.  But they don't have a problem with liberals who tend to walk the party line.  Daily Kos must have said something to upset the apple cart.

Time and you are wrong.

DailyKos is one of the most underrated blogs on the internet. Just look at the amount of money Kos makes.

How much money do they make?

How much money do they make?

Well into 7 figures a year in a bad year with costs barely breaking 100k.

I agree with Mr. Moulitsas,

I agree with Mr. Moulitsas, er, Evil Capitalist. He has shown indisputable proof that backs up his not-so-wild claim!

For the conservatives it

For the conservatives it really helps to pull the head out of the sand once in a while. It had been pointed out hundred of times that right has absolutely no clue about technology or making money in the technology. The gap is becoming wider and wider. Conservative message will become absolutely irrelevant fringe unless its platform is a successful business...

Fortunately, you, when

Fortunately, you, when given more than one opportunity to, have been able to produce a copious amount of documented proof to back up your boastings. Yawn.

That myself.

In order to be pro-choice, one must first be born. Ah, the irony.

Unlike people who need to be

Unlike people who need to be asked "if they have access to the internet" while calling Limbaugh, I can claim credits for a few of its building blocks. Not only that, I also have a first hand knowledge of the difference between what left and right does in this area - ask Sheffield.

Sorry, but "taking your

Sorry, but "taking your word for it" doesn't cut it. I can easily claim you enjoy the intimate company of little stuffed animals, then feign indignance when asked to show proof.

That's the glory of the interweb, isn't it? Surely you, being such an EXPERT on all things interwebby (as you modestly point out in the vast majority of your posts), surely you understand that empty boasts and claims are the tired, stale work of sad little douchebags.

As another age-old interweb adage goes: link or slink, Sparky. Er, I mean, Mr. Moulitsas...

You know what site isn't overrated?

You know what site isn't overrated?

This One.

I can't believe TIME overlooked it.

Time.........its something I waste

If it wasn't for my regular dentists appointments, I would never know that Time mag still exists. Even then the issues there are quite old.

"Time" went the way of

"Time" went the way of "Life" many years ago--they just forgot to stop printing it.

Kos is wasted space

All you need to know about the Daily Kos is right here:

This is a Democratic blog, a partisan blog. One that recognizes that
Democrats run from left to right on the ideological spectrum, and yet
we're all still in this fight together. We happily embrace centrists
like NDN's Simon Rosenberg and Howard Dean, conservatives like Martin
Frost and Brad Carson, and liberals like John Kerry and Barack Obama.
Liberal? Yeah, we're around here and we're proud. But it's not a
liberal blog. It's a Democratic blog
with one goal in mind: electoral
victory.

He's an unprincipled cheerleader.  What's right today?  Whatever the Democratic party says is right.

These people, and all mindless, straight party voters of any affiliation, are useless to me.

Smoking Hot... I happened

Smoking Hot... I happened to be reading the Kos earlier today just for giggles and tickles, trying to catch their take on events. After some reading, I realized (again) that The Daily Kos really does suck. The writing is juvenile, the emoting is adolescent, and the faux righteousness is tedious beyond tolerance.

Plus, they are complete toolss for the Ds.
