As most conservatives are aware, Rush Limbaugh rarely has guests on his radio program.
However, on Friday, he not only interviewed conservative columnist Ann Coulter, but he also set up his Dittocam so that folks at home could watch.
This entire segment has now been uploaded in four parts to YouTube.
Part one is embedded right, with parts two, three, and four below the fold (transcript available here, h/t Hot Air via NB reader Thomas Stewart):

If comunism is such a great idea, why didn't they put up a picture window instead of an Iron Curtain?
On Topic
January 17, 2009 - 13:54 ET by KC MulvilleI happened to catch these segments with Coulter. What I liked is that instead of doing what the networks did, Rush asked her about the arguments in her book. He stuck to the book. He gave her a chance to explain herself. All the "professional interviewers" spent their time on creating a circus around her, but Rush asked her about the book.

It was refreshing, to listen to an interview that wasn't taken up by the interviewer attacking Coulter for her "offensiveness".

January 17, 2009 - 16:15 ET by choselife3xI love how they go on and on about her offensiveness in such an insufferably offensive way.
Kind of like how conservatives are racists, bigots, homophobes, and Neanderthals who compulsively stereotype people......
In order to be pro-choice, one must first be born. Ah, the irony.
It takes two to make a controversy
January 17, 2009 - 16:22 ET by KC MulvilleAgreed.
By the way, it takes two to make a controversy. So when the media claims that Coulter is being provocative, they conspire with her by taking the role of the opposite side. The ironic part is when they ask her why she's being controversial, as if she has done wrong merely by disagreeing with them.
Which, after mathematically eliminating their rhetoric, comes down to: "Why do you insist on diagreeing with us?"

Old media trick: make the conversation be mostly about the "negative perception" of the conservative rather than the message the conservative is conveying - until "Our time has run out. We'll have to discuss the facts you're revealing another day..."

January 17, 2009 - 14:21 ET by allanfShe treated CBS News Correspondent and Anchor Harry Smith like a wet dishrag when Smith implied she was jeopardizing Obama's safety with her criticism.

Harry Smith's a dishrag?
January 18, 2009 - 00:24 ET by Scout FinchThat's downright complimentary. My dishrag soaks up a lot of grease and dirt. I think Harry Smith merely moves it along.

January 17, 2009 - 14:47 ET by Ryan Mc.Wow, actual discussion of ideas. Its been a while since I've heard two rational people discussing serious topics. No wonder why the media hates Ann Coulter. Maybe Rush and Ann could do a talk show on MSNBC against Madow and Olbermann. That would be a dream of mine come true. It would be hillarious.
I saw all of this
January 17, 2009 - 16:55 ET by bigtimerI saw all of this yesterday....enjoyed every single second of it.
Loved the ending too...you know that evil cold-hearted woman with a heart 3 times too small...went over and gave Rush a kiss.
Shocking I tell ya...just shocking!

Rush gave Ann....
January 17, 2009 - 19:11 ET by connman....the time that the TV Media hasn't, sans Fox. Her book has so many interesting points to discuss and it was nice of him to give her the needed time. I just wish she'd get on with more of the liberal wienie talking heads because when they do they prove the points in her book for her.
Keith, Rachel, & the rest of the MSM
January 17, 2009 - 19:49 ET by math4lifeKetih and Rachel never have someone (Buchanan does not count) with a different view on their shows. They are embarrassments. What struck me was how Rush lets her explain herself, something that the View ladies did not do. When Whoopi said she could not take it, I instantly thought well she would not be on the show if she couldn't. Whoopi played into the robots in the audience for support. Also, did anyone see that Ann even went on Showbiz Tonight a show that trashed her and even questioned why anyone would put her on their show (hypocrites).
As usual, the real Ann
January 17, 2009 - 20:00 ET by robert108As usual, the real Ann Coulter is radically different from the false propaganda image created by the MSM.
It was nice to hear and see her when she was not under attack and dealing with the usual leftie presumptions about female conservatives.
robert... Exactly

Exactly right...plus she didn't have to talk a mile a minute just to attempt to get a paragraph in, let alone a sentence without being interrupted one way or the other to make her point.
The pretty much kills his excuse
January 17, 2009 - 21:27 ET by nwahsThat pretty much blows his excuses for not having guests, out of the water. Rush will never interview anyone that challenges him. That's a simple fact.

Hmm...seems to me I just heard Rush say he would meet with Obama anytime anywhere if really wanted some real/different suggestions on what to do about the economy ect.
You wanna' bet that wouldn't include his show?
