For years, NewsBusters has been reporting the disgusting columns and cartoons of Ted Rall.
Sadly, the day before Election Day, Rall hit a new low.
Embedded below the fold -- done so to protect those who'd prefer not to be subjected to this detritus! -- is a video cartoon depicting Vice President Sarah Palin trying to assassinate President John McCain so that she can replace him in the White House (h/t NB reader Franklin J. Moss):
How thoroughly disgraceful.
Pardon me while I go shower and disinfect my keyboard!

Ted Rall is the human
November 4, 2008 - 16:48 ET by TailgunnerTed Rall is the human equivalent of a 'skidmark'.
He is the epitome of the irresponsible, driveling, mindless, immature purveyor of liberal hate of everything this country stands for.
Liberals such as Rall would eagerly herd conservatives into the cattle cars bound for an Obama 'reeducation camp'.

about all I could stand
November 4, 2008 - 12:28 ET by jazzact13Only watched about half of it. That was quite enough.
I do think such people really do hold nothing sacred. Particularly the truth.
What other explanation is there is such people putting out such nastiness and hate, while accusing the other side of being nasty and hateful?
"Thoroughly worldly people never understand even the world; they rely altogether on a few cynical maxims which are not true."

I won't watch it...
November 4, 2008 - 12:30 ET by The DistributistI won't watch it, but my feeling is that this sort of trash tells us more about what the "artist" is personally capable of, than what Palin is capable of.

November 4, 2008 - 16:15 ET by donsalimanCan anyone tell me,what this excuse of a human being, has ever done for this country, except for spreading hate?
Hey, That's Funny!
November 4, 2008 - 22:44 ET by The7SticksI think none of you watched the entire thing (I had the mute on, so I don't know what I missed on the soundtrack.) It's like watching a Ren & Stimpy cartoon mixed with Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner jokes. The animation is quite excellent, not like the lousy flash animation that's so common with most animated web videos
When people say the liberals have thin skin when it comes to jokes, I have to say that it seems to be conservatives more often than liberals that seem to have the thin skin. If you can't take a funny cartoon like that, then why bother watching it? I can't understand for the life of me why this cartoon is the least bit offensive? I saw a Family Guy gag making fun of John McCain's imprisonment at the Hanoi Hilton, and I found that far more offensive than this cartoon could ever be. So what's the deal with this one? Where is this so-called hate coming from, because I listned to the Michael Medved show today and I found rather hateful comments being directed towards Democrats as well as third-party candidates (as much as I dislike third parties.)? What's the deal?
