Hope that lady has a good security system and her insurance is all paid up, I'm sure she'll be getting some really scary visitors long after the trick or treaters have gone.. With all of the really important stuff going on I guess they decided they just had to run with the mean crotchety old conservative women won't give any candy out to liberal children.

Either way, I thinks it's ridiculouse on her part too. Although it's her choice do we really need to start politicising everything?They're little kids they can't even vote yet. Heck, I was a liberal until I moved out of mom and dad's house got a job and got married.

I think she should have just left an empty basket on the porch. Label it "the obama plan". The note would say "my kids did not want to go out for candy tonight. They sat on their ass and ate the bag of candy I was going to hand out. It was not enough, and that's not fair, so I demand that each child that comes to my door put half of their candy in the basket."

FIRST OS ALL HALLOWEEN IS A PAGAN HOLIDAY AND ANYONE WITH COMMON SENSE WOULD NOT CELEBRATE IT WITH DEMONIC COSTUMES AND RITUALS.  OUR CUSTOM IS A HALLEJUHA HOEDOWN AT OUR CHURCH.  IT IS GREAT!  WE HAVE GAMES, DANCING AND FUNNY COSTUMES.  ALL OF THE CONGREATION DONATES CANDY AND I T IS A GREAT TIME OF FUN AND FELLOWSHIP.  WHY DOES ANYONE WANT TO TAKE THEIR CHILDREN OUT TRICK OR TREATING AND EXPOSE THEM TO ASKING FOR CANDY FROM ANYONE.  GUESS THAT WILL BECOME ANOTHER REQUIREMENT OF OBAMA'S "SHARE THE WEALTH."   THE MOTHER OF THE LITTLE GIRL ON THE VIDEO WAS INCENSED THAT THE LADY WOULD NOT GIVE HER CHILD CANDY.  FOR HEAVENS SAKE LADY, BUY A BAG OF CANDY, STAY HOME AND BE SAFE. THESE ARE THE ACTIONS THAT CREATE THOSE WHO EXPECT HANDOUTS.  

It's really hard to be a conservative, sometimes.  I don't believe conservatives will ever figure out when to make their points.  They like to win battles, liberals like to win wars. 

Let's face it, this lady won the battle, she didnt hand out any freebies to Obama supporters, however, she lost the war because all of these kids will listen to their parents rag on conservatives and Republicans and all they'll remember is how mean this lady was.  It will take years to convince these kids how right we are.  In a word, stupid.

There are better ways to get yourmessage across and better times to do it.  IMHO, this gave the liberals too much ammunition and accomplished nothing.  Just turn out your lights and tell them you don't have any candy.

Laughed at this woman's story.  I don't blame her. But I wouldn't mix my politics with the fun of Halloween.  This is a magical time for little kids . . .  

In my neighborhood, we are one of only two Republicans with McCain/Palin signs in our yards (that always get stolen--we're on our third sign).

This Halloween, we gave out about $100 in candy--tons of kids get bussed into our neighborhood because they know they'll get good candy, the houses are fixed up, and the neighborhood is very safe and beautiful.  But the Democrats (my neighbors) all closed up their homes and didn't partake of the fun.

I enjoy seeing all the little kids.  And this year, everyone was very friendly, and the outfits were cute, original and fun.  Some political outfits.  Everyone was great.  We gave out candy for two hours.

It's unfortunate this woman chose to exercise her frustration in this way--it's not the little kids' faults.  It's their ignorant, ill-informed parents.

We Republicans have to do a better job of educating liberals that our way is better.

Here's what you have to do:  Next time you're in a restaurant, ask the waiter how he or she voted.  If they voted for Obama, tell them that you're going to practice Obama-economics and that you're going to redistribute their hard earned tip and give it to someone else who doesn't deserve it, who didn't work for it, or earn it, but that you are going to choose to redistribute their tip to someone else for the good of "everyone."

Of course, the news report had to give the story a sob tone, saying that kids are crying, because this woman won't give out treats to them.

First off, I am dubious about that allegation. Second, what, is she the ONLY person in the neighborhood, in the whole freaking town who is giving out candy and if they can't get it from her they won't get any at all?!?!?! Go somewhere else and get your candy!!

And FYI to that one guy: That wasn't a peace sign. It was the logo for Mercedes. DER!

And the little liberals could of course NOT go to the other houses on the street.

Oh no, they wanted to get their sticky little hands on this ladies cookies as well.

As for little four year olds CRYING, because they were refused candy, hahaha, I think it was the parents who were crying.

This just shows how petty politics have become.  Leave the kids out of it.  Do you really think a child between the ages of 3-12 actually has any idea about national or global politics?  The only thing they know is what their parents tell them, and now thanks to this lady the one other thing they know is that Obama (the democrat) gives them candy, while the Republican is greedy enough to only give to a select few.  Great lessons to be giving a child.  This election has brought out the absolute worst in people, and while this might be a non-issue in the entirety of things, it is a pretty decent symbolic event.
