With all the hysterical leftwing hyperbole about Fox News being a Republican talking points echo chamber, its post-debate coverage in the past week has been far more fair and balanced than others in the media.
Take for example FNC contributor and pollster Frank Luntz who having declared Barack Obama the victor of last Friday's presidential debate (video embedded below the fold) gave Sarah Palin the nod Thursday evening (video embedded right).
Wouldn't it be nice if most other media outlets could be so fair and balanced as opposed to the predictable sycophancy we're witnessing elsewhere:

So far left...

If you're so far left, even the center looks far right.
Top? No? Too Bad
October 3, 2008 - 13:11 ET by CaringwhiteguyIs Palin at the top of the ticket? No. We'll just have to make do with the hand that's been dealt.
Palin did a fine job.
October 3, 2008 - 13:26 ET by ZachJonesIsHomeGov. Palin and John McCain are also running against the media.
WHO WILL BE SLEEPING IN THE LINCOLN BEDROOM IN AN OBAMA WHITEHOUSE? This
is a serious question that has captured my attention. The question is in
reaction to what almost everyone sees – a media blatantly refusing to report on
legitimate issues and distorting anything or anyone who stands in the way the
Obama election efforts. How many reporters are looking for people who can tell
Obama’s story? I’m not sure anyone can without damaging Senator Obama. Go to: http://zachjonesisho...

Don't worry Zach
October 3, 2008 - 13:34 ET by CaringwhiteguyIt won't be those people who have already done Obama favors. It will be people who NEED favors and are willing to pony up the $$ to see things get done. Chicago politics at its best.

October 3, 2008 - 13:31 ET by JayTeeThe MSM is now losing the Debate on credibility -- but they are winning and exceling on the Bias front.
What great concession is it that a single VP debate was Lost by a Democrat ? What montrous disaster would this be for the MSM ?
The Media has shut the Curtains in the MSM Newsrooms . . .no daylight from the Republicans will be allowed to shine in upon the Bias of the Cloistered "journalists".
The Republican Revolution will not be Televised
Next Round
October 3, 2008 - 13:32 ET by Gat New YorkLast night sealed Sarah Palin as the GOP's leading contender for President in four years.
GNY... Yep, so far that
October 3, 2008 - 13:37 ET by bigtimerGNY...
Yep, so far that is exactly what she did...
I still don't know how she feels about illegal immigration though.
Of course that is purposely NOT an issue now with both candidates having the same wants from the illegal alien voters.
I just shake my head, this is the worst I have ever seen for an election for the choice we have (I am excluding Palin ya' know)

Like '92
October 3, 2008 - 13:52 ET by Gat New YorkBT - I am just very depressed that we are facing four years of Obama - Reid- Pelosi and with that the worst 4 years in our history.
I think McCain has been overwhelmed by Obama and the unprecedented move by MSM to become a political propaganda machine for one candidate. He appears beaten like Bush was at this time in '92.
I believe Palin holds our beliefs in immigration.
The only silver lining is that Obama's four years will be so bad that I believe Hillary will replace him in a primary and Palin would beat her.
I was extremely proud of her and having spent a lot of time outside the liberal elite east and west coast (or the grey goose drinkers), she directly reflects the crown royal drinkers.
GNY, I couldn't agree

Noel to be fair

October 3, 2008 - 14:05 ET by bigtimerI don't give a rats rear what any of them have to say when I can very well make up my own mind anyway...
I have never cared for Luntz either...but this is a great example for the msm and the bias 24/7.
I didn't bother with the talking heads last night...none of them after the debate, saved myself some blood pressure rising.
I usually only watch the talking head twits afterwards if I am in a good mood and not tired.

Noel, Are you referring to the Fox Olds Channel?*
October 3, 2008 - 14:16 ET by Abe_JeffersonWe can leave out any discussion of which way Fox leans politically and still easily dismiss Fox as a legitimate "news" channel. I'm mean besides the fact that FNC is The Missing White Girls Channel or that Fox that seemed to have the Paris Hilton washing a car in a Carl's Jr. commercial playing on endless loop. I'm offering this current** screen shot of FNC's Fox News Polls web page which STILL has the breaking news stories of how Hillary is leading in NH primary polls and "Giuliani,Clinton Hold Double-Digit Leads in Nomination Races" as of Nov 15, 2007 among other delightfully dated "news" stories under "Previous (No Frikkn Kidding!) Polls". What a rinky-dinky popsicle stand outfit! Their motto should be "The Fox Olds Channel - It sounds terrible but we are terrible."
*No need to answer, Noel. It's more of a rhetorical question.

Luntz in waiting mode
October 3, 2008 - 14:45 ET by xyzzypoofsI think Frank Luntz' real goal is to bonk McCain. He has to let one slide to the right every once in a while to keep the FNC producers from figuring out his game. Tuesday night, I bet he will find 40 "undecided" voters with 1/2 "leaning" McCain and 1/2 "leaning" Obama. Of course he will probably go to Detroit or somewhere to find these gems. Even if McCain gets O to curl up in the fetal position right from the starting bell, I bet the magical twiddling dials will show that the "undecided" voters all say that Obama won.

Judges score BD's reply -
October 3, 2008 - 16:28 ET by Abe_Jefferson- 2 points for Tower of Pisa analogy
+ 5 points for mentioning Nancy Grace.
I agree CNN has lowered the bar in playing "if you can't beat 'em join 'em" to compete w/ Fox. But Fox still holds the title "The World Champ of Rinky-Dinky Popsicle Stand Sad Excuse for a News Network".
re:Judges score BD's reply -
October 3, 2008 - 17:11 ET by xyzzypoofsYou seem confused: only a network that would fake a memo to discredit a President running for re-election deserves a cheap shot label like that. It will be fun watching Katie cry in Novemer just like Danny boy did back in the 2000 election.

Sara's debate success
October 3, 2008 - 20:38 ET by wotsiznameBiden has ONE YEAR of national experience for each ONE DAY of Sarah's. If Sarah had 35 + years experience to Biden"s five weeks, I wonder how Biden would have done, even if he always told the truth.
As I posted elsewhere, NBC
