ST. PAUL, Minn. - On Thursday, NewsBusters had a quick chat with former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay about the media's coverage of Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin.
After praising Palin for being the "answer for what we've been begging for for over two years," he then spoke both frankly and optimistically about how the press have been attacking the Alaska governor since John McCain first introduced her as his running mate (video embedded right):
I think it's just absolutely horrible. But thank God they're doing it, because I understand, for instance, the media has pushed 37 million to watch her last night...I just hope that they keep it up. Just keep doing it, and showing the hypocrisy of the left.

More Desperation instead of Hypocrisy

Where were they in joining me and others when the feathers were hitting the fan in nailing Barack Obama and the media on criminality charges that should bring indictments?
The media is full of liars,but this is an issue not of hypocrites but their desperation. They had an idea how Sarah Palin could be the future of America and now they know.
So for Tom DeLay and Newt Gingrich featured in another Newsbuster story, respectfully sirs, "Get off your butts and start demanding the Justice Department file the charges on RICO as this was a criminal attack on the Palin family by Barack Obama, his staff and when it went into internet operatives planting stories whic the MSM were directed to to make stories out of to defame that family in sexism, child abuse, endangering an unborn child, stealing Social Security numbers and racism in calling her family "eskimo" to degrade them which is equal to the N word, this makes it federal crimes of all involved in this.
So instead of hiding in the weeds boys until Sarah Palin cleared the path on point, how about you children including the Newsbuster staff start asking your connected friends to dust off Patrick Fitzgerald who is now negotiating with Tony Rezko and have a real Grand Jury to indict Barack Obama, Joe Biden, his internet lackies and the MSM minions for their illegal attacks on women, handicapped, invalids, children and the unborn.
Show some metal boys as Sarah ain't afraid to mix it up. Poke your heads a little farther out of the fox hole and come out and play as it is ok in Ronald Reagan walked this path before.
Stop the criminal attacks by arresting the criminals and stop using adjectives of what liberals are doing. Arrest them!

He also let loose with this gem (paraphrasing): I don't know of a single thing Sen. Obama has done, other than talk and write books. Can you name me one thing that he's done? At which point Ron Allen said he was going to "let that go" and ended the interview.
