Thanks for having this up here Noel...I caught this today...I posted how angry I was with Norah somewhere..anyway, I am waiting for the good guys on our side of the aisle, especially the women to come out and start asking the same talking heads these questions where are their kids and how come they aren't home watching/raising them...smack it right back at them!

Here we have a bunch of women who have it within their power to say "no boss, asking that question would be sexist, and I resent your implications".  Their jobs would be protected for a long time.

But instead, these women are so enamored, (or lustful?) of a cute liberal candidate with a washboard stomach and a tight butt.

This is exactly the kind of hypocrisy men point to when justifying their sexist jokes.

Wouldn't it be lovely to see Republicans picket the MSM's booths and boxes - especially NBC/MSNBC? The media has declared war on Sarah Palin and Republicans, why try to be polite any longer? This quaint Republican notion of having to cooperate with the MSM should be dead - murdered by the media itself. What exactly have Republicans gained by being polite and cooperative with these assassins?

How many kids did Democratic Idol Robert F. Kennedy have when he ran for President? Eight, with one on the way! Somehow I don't remember the press saying he should stay home with the kids.

Oh, but he was a man and apparently the liberal media thinks fathers don't count when raising kids. How sexist to both women and fathers!

The MSM, in it's continuing want to make it's views heard, with or without a source, makes great use of their usual explicit source references: Some people, people say, experts have said, they say, we are hearing, it's been stated, we've heard, we all know, people are saying, what we've been seeing, many people, lots of folks, and so on. In other words, when the journalist just assumes it's this way [their way] they assume that the use of "some people, or one of the other "accepted sources," is good enough for the audience. Truly what it means, is that the journalist is telling the audience what the journalist believes and does not actually have a source for. Even in the event that there might actually be a source out there for the so called view, or news, chances are, as we have been reminded of (thank you Mika Brzezinski) the source is none other than other journalists with whom the journalist is hanging around with /or, perhaps a real credible one, like the Daily Kos.

Now, almost a year ago MSNBC "correspondent" David Shuster alleged that many people don't believe Robert Novak has "any credibility as a journalist." Now, what was the basis for Shuster's attack on Novak's credibility? Well, Bob Novak, according to Shuster:

OK, here are the names of these "many people" who told me that Bob Novak does not have any integrity as a journalist. And if I have not identified the names of those "many people," who told me this, then I should have egg on my face. OK, Chris. Throw the egg at my face, cause I have no idea who these "lots of people" actually are. I just say that, when I want to smear someone.

See - Novak's not credible because "many people" to whom Shuster spoke with didn't know who the "lots of people" Novak were, who Novak had referenced.

"Some people" just don't get it. "Many of us" understand that, don't "we?"

I just listened to Sarah Palin speak at the Republican convention. Wow! What poise and projection.

Then I hurriedly flipped through the channels to see what the liberal media elite were saying. It appeared to me that they were stunned by how well she performed. Some of her harshest critics, such as Campbell Brown, had softened their remarks considerably and were now praising her as a tough, competent mom/woman.

I believe the neglected children strategy has now fallen by the wayside. The Drive-Bys now know she is truly a "pit bull in lipstick." They will probably turn their energy to trying to find more "dirt" to uncover about her. CNN already has sent Kyra Phillips to Alaska for that purpose.

By the way, prior to her speech I listened to Tom Brokaw on MSNBC complain that the current Republican strategy was to criticise the "eastern elite media" (them) and he didn't believe that was fair. Crybaby! You can dish it out but you can't take it.
