Hillary became the first First Lady elected to the Senate and Bill Clinton continues to enjoy enormous popularity both at home and abroad especially when his record is compared to the present disaster in the White House.
If the Clinton marriage is a sham then so is the one between McCain and the young beer heiress he married after divorcing his first wife. The Clinton marriage has withstood everything. They are certainly one of the greatest couple ever to grace public life. Republicans are just so jealous of this super couple but average Americans love them.
