They don't give two craps about the people in Louisiana, yet if you put a microphone in their face they'll rant about what someone else did or didn't do and how they care about people. Not that we don't already know this. This obviously should be newsworthy. Question is will it, or will the media once again fail the American people to ensure that the media's darling party is protected?

This is what I would call thoughtless, and he better hope Gustav takes a pass at NOLA.  This will come back to haunt him. There was a Democrat Mayor and a Democrat Governor, when Katrina hit 3 years ago. I wouldn't be crowing about their response if I were him or wishing ill on the surviors by insinuating that Gustav, was a sign God loves Democrats. That is really in very poor taste. Aren't we all Americans, who would wish ill on another American for Political advantage?

You know I have been sickened by the left and their hope for this hurricane to hit during the 'R' convention, not caring one wit about death of destruction...which they never have anyway, and they are ususally the reason we ever have it in masses in the first place....everything with them is political...even mother nature.

God forbid that anyone on the Gulf Coast has to suffer through this storm.  That being said, if Louisiana is hit, it's an opportunity for Republicans to redeem themselves, especially with a Republican governor at the helm.  If the GOP handles the news right, this "gift from God" for the Dems may in fact come back to bite them.  And it will be interesting to see what Obama does.  While he won't be in a decision making capacity, chances are he and/or Biden will provide embarrassing sound bits in the midst of this situation.
