The telepromter

must have quit!

I suspect that...

this will be the first of many.

 Exactly Noel, Delicious!!!

These two will make Laurel

These two will make Laurel and Hardy look like geniuses. Break out the old L and H movies and get a preview.. ;+}

"Well, that's another fine mess you've gotten us into, Barack."

The major media report only half the news. Why are they surprised they have only half the potential audience?

LOL...I just posted about

LOL...I just posted about this on the OT before this was here...

This was priceless...I cracked up laughing listening to that...first thing I thought of was oh boy...can you not see the ads already!

"America isn't the problem...America is the solution." ~ Rush Limbaugh

Sounds like another....

"um, um, ah, um, um, eh, and the, um, um." moment.  "Oh sh*t, the teleprompter broke again......cant.....speak....off the....cuff...."

This is what happens

when someone messes with the telepromter. BE ADVISED! STRONG LANGUAGE in this youtube clip!

And then

slo joe Biden says thank you Barack America.

I saw that

My dad and I were watching it. "You heard what he almost said?!"

His mouth was in overdrive - as usual.

Wait a minute - where'd you get this clip? The clip I saw on Fox edited this out. On the footage I saw it looked like he almost said it, not actually said it. Did Fox edit it?

nw.... No he said every

nw....

No he said every single word!

Why would Fox edit that? That would seem strange.

To top it off...Obama had a teleprompter....Biden didn't.

It was too rich...I'm still laughing.

"America isn't the problem...America is the solution." ~ Rush Limbaugh

Maybe it was my senior moment?

No, I don't see Fox editing that. We were talking, I guess I misheard.

I would've have sworn he only got the "p" sound out before correcting to "vice president." But you're right, they wouldn't edit that.

Senior moment I guess!

Can you say "Freudian

Can you say "Freudian slip"????

mb...I was wondering

mb...

I was wondering right about that moment if Matthews was getting quite a tingle up his leg?!

He and Olbie didn't even mention this gaffe until the very end of their time allotted...then after they said Obama had introduced Biden as the next President...they didn't skip a beat to say that the repubs are all over this....

Gee...ya' thank Olbie?

Say what?

Words

As BO introduces the "next president of the world" he knows "it's words, just words..."

Gets so confusing...

So will Biden be the "the next President" of 57 states or only 50?

I believe they plan to

I believe they plan to split the 57 states--Obama will be president of the states west of the Missisippi and Biden, east of the Missisippi. Each will take one-half of Rhode Island. Time Magazine will confirm this in Monday's edition.

The major media report only half the news. Why are they surprised they have only half the potential audience?

the plan, and the math

It does pose a dilemma.  Obama knows that of the 57 states, 32 are so-called blue states, while 29 are traditional blue states.

But what about those 782 electoral college votes.  How many can he count on?

They will probably split

They will probably split the count. Sort of a one for you and one for me appraoch.

The major media report only half the news. Why are they surprised they have only half the potential audience?

Ha Ha ! Just standing next

Ha Ha ! Just standing next to Joe causes Obama to stick his foot in his mouth. These two are gonna' make a wonderful couple,.......of idiots.

" The Cake is a lie."

The post-rally MSNBC coverage

was unbelievable. Matthews and Olbermann were acting like two teenybopper cheerleaders for Obama/Biden. MSNBC isn't even pretending to be unbiased anymore. Later, when they brought in guests, it was amusing to see the wry expressions on Fineman and Barnicle; they looked uncomfortable. I think the juvenile, unprofessional cheerleading of the two co-anchors was embarrassing to them.

Someone needs to tell

the bosses at MSNBC that shilling for Obama won't win them ratings but will have the opposite effect. And it won't put Obama in the WH, either. Viewers and voters resent and distrust the msm already and might vote for McCain just to stick it to a media that is trying to unduly influence the electoral outcome.

Well......

I predicted there would be numerous verbal gaffs ahead, I just didn't think it would right out of the gate. Biden's comments regarding John McCains money and bout him and his sitting round the ole kitchen table trying to figure out how to pay the bills was a thing of beauty. I almost choked up. The crap was getting so deep I raised my watch arm to save it, too late for the shoes.

Yea doug, its sickening. To

Yea doug, its sickening. To Democrats its a heinous crime if your a Republican and marry a woman with money and have more than one house, just ask John Kerry. McCain came from a military family so we know he didn't amass any wealth from a silver spoon. Maybe the McCains should go ahead and give off their millions and auction off their homes to charity like the Clintons, the Edwards, the Gores and the Ketchup Kerry's have done.

These guy's are harping on this one house thing, but to me it's laughable if you do this and your one home is worth over a million dollars. For that money I could buy five homes like the one I own now.

Biden has spent 35+ yrs. in the Senate and only has a net worth of around 150 grand. He's either the most honest Democrat in Congress or an idiot, but being he's a Dem, I 'll say it's the latter of the two.

" The Cake is a lie."

Yeah...but don't ya know

Yeah...but don't ya know according to Biden we need a RECKONING NOW!

We need more than a foot soldier...we need a wise leader!

Well, that leaves them both out of the mix... now doesn't it.

"America isn't the problem...America is the solution." ~ Rush Limbaugh

bt, the dumbest thing the

bt, the dumbest thing the media did was keep a microphone in Kerry's face. Biden is ten times worse than Kerry. They stick their feet in their mouths righ out of the gate and Biden doesn't have sense to know that McCain was a pilot, not a foot soldier. Now some will say he didn't mean that literally, but hey it's Joe Biden.

"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious. "

- Ben Kenobi on  Liberals, and the MSM.

" The Cake is a lie."

Blaze... I

Blaze...

I agree.

Btw...I do think Biden was making sure to use the phrase foot soldier there because McCain has used it so many times...although the majority of people most likely don't know that unless they are political junkies.

"America isn't the problem...America is the solution." ~ Rush Limbaugh

Yea, no doubt thats why he

Yea, no doubt thats why he used the phrase bt. However it's just an empty platitude he says the country needs leadership, McCain has spent almost thirty yrs. in the Senate and comes from a family of leadership, his dad being an Admiral, I think he knows a thing or two about leadership also.

The guys on tape saying he would be honored to serve with or run against McCain, hard to take that back.

"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious. "

" The Cake is a lie."

Just Imagine

Imagine if McCain had said such a goofy thing under the same circumstances.  The libtard media would be all over him . . . for days . . . 24-7.

NMC... Of course they

NMC...

Of course they would, or anybody else with an 'R' behind their name...big time!

..and Olbermann was grumbling about the repubs being all over this...

No kidding Keith...the possibility with the ads would be priceless...

"America isn't the problem...America is the solution." ~ Rush Limbaugh

I am not prone to such beliefs

but I know a lot of liberals suscribe to the "Alpha male" BS. Now, who do you suppose is the Alpha male in this little toad suck? Biden was probably Obama's biggest critic outside "Her Thighness", so who does Obama pick? The one who gave him the biggest spanking. Im sure the head shrinkers would have a field day with this.

doug,

"toad suck"???

What's that, some kind of naval aviator term for, um, well...I know the Army term.

I like it though...I may use it, if you'd be so kind as to explain it.

David Gregory, do you know which damn network you lie for? ~ Uncle Jimbo, @Blackfive

Clarification

The legend behind Toad Suck is that long ago, steam boats traveled the Arkansas River when the water was at the right depth. When it wasn't, the captains and their crew tied up to wait where the Toad Suck Lock and Dam
now spans the river near Conway. While they waited, they refreshed
themselves at the local tavern. The dismayed folks living nearby were
heard to say: "They suck on the bottle 'til they swell up like toads."
Hence, the name Toad Suck. The tavern is long gone, but the legend
lives on at Toad Suck Daze.

Now, when I first learned of this lore it was generally referring to any excuse to s**tfaced, which "salty" sailors ARE proned to do on occasion.

Thanks, Doug

Obama did manage to get the

Obama did manage to get the "United States of America" part right. It's just that he doesn't know how many states there are.

Last One Left?

I think Obama picked Biden because Biden was the only one who'd take it, except maybe Kaine the Kiss Up. A lot of people took themselves out of the running early, and I'll bet Bayh (the better pick imo) not only said 'no', but 'hell no'.

Barker....I think that is an...

accurate assesment......who wants a deck chair on the Titanic?  His whole campaign is starting to unravel, and the smart folks saw it coming.

Completely Hung Over, And Confident At Last

Went out and got absolutely hammered last night to celebrate the near assuredness of the McCain 2008 presidency. In spite of the fuzzy tongue and lingering sour stomach, this is the first time I have felt genuinely confident that this election is in the bag, and that not even the press will be able to effect the outcome. I do not know ONE Obama supporter who is pleased with this choice. Joe Biden is a racist and a plagiarist who cheated his way into a cushy government job and has never been forced to answer for any of it. He is the perfect embodiment of liberalism in action, and the worst choice that Obama could have made. I was very worried it would be Bayah and REALLY worried he might pick Sam Nunn as a wildcard, who is actually somebody whom I have a lot of respect for. At one point during the Clinton years I watched Sam Nunn give a talk and decided that he would make an outstanding chief executive.

But that's all swill in the barkeep's mixing rug now. The one thing that disgusts me more than anything else is contemplating the MILLIONS of dollars that are going to be wasted over the next four months trying to get these two clowns into the White House. Obama on his own was un-electable. Coupled with Joe "You Can't Even Walk Into A 7/11 Around Here Without An Indian Accent" Biden they should just, I don't know, concede right now. It's a waste of time, the only thing they have to recommend them are anti-Bush sentiments, which are no where near enough. Obama is obviously being advised by people who are totally incompetent, or rather is so full of his own delusions that he isn't listening to sound advice and made this choice in the face of all reason.

They aren't just going to lose, they are going to be TROUNCED, especially if McCain throws a nice slider at the democraps and picks Joe Lieberman as his VP choice. Even on his own though, a decorated war veteran and former POW who's led a life dedicated to service for our country is an unbeatable candidate, in spite of what the hip little metasexual dingbats with their goatees and earrings say about him being old & make fun of his war injury and torture inflicted injuries. Speaking of 7/11's, you could probably approach anyone in line warming up a pocket burrito there who is more qualified to run this country than either Barack Obama or Joe Biden, and everybody whom I know is aware of it. I repeat again that I do not personally know one Obama supporter who is pleased with this choice. The press is going ape shit over it as should be expected, and they think they can usher these two morons into the White House all on their own.

It will be a pleasure to prove them wrong. Keep up the great work, Newsbusters!

Sk... I just can't

I just can't believe you were able to post all of this so darned well hung-over.

Good job, the only thing I disagree with you on is Lieberman.

Let me just say a few things here...

The Obama campaign has said what they want to say knowing that they can
say it no more.  The Obama camp can no longer use the race card
pre-emptively because of Joe Biden's remarks pertaining to 7-11 stores
and Obama himself.   Obama supporters can no longer talk about the
"stolen" 2000 election because Obama did not win the popular vote.
Obama can no longer talk about McCain being a "Washington Insider".
Obama can no longer talk about McCain's 7 homes (although it was said
in Biden's speech today. Biden said "Ladies and gentlemen, your kitchen table is like mine. You sit there at
night before you put the kids, after you put the kids to bed and you
talk, you talk about what you need. You talk about how much you're
worried about being able to pay the bills. Well, ladies and gentlemen,
that's not a worry John McCain has to worry about. It's a pretty hard
experience. He'll have to figure out which of the seven kitchen tables
to sit at
."
"Your kitchen table is like mine"????????????  How large was the home
that poor Joey Biden left today to accept his invitation?  I only wish
that people supporting this choad would see that he has nothing to
worry about financially just as McCain or any other senator does.  This
is purely politics, although, the statement was met with cheers as if
Biden had walked on stage wearing a burlap sack, cutoff gloves and a
half-eaten can of generic baked beans.  If only the weak-minded would
open their eyes (and minds) and recognize that these are politicians
who are pretending that they are also upper-lower-middle-classers.

Let me add a bottom line here: Dick Morris has been quite an asset
for those of us who have been looking for an insider's view on the way
things have been.  It's been a fear of mine, however, that Mr. Morris
will (and may have) provided a standing for which the democrats have
picked up and run with.  Dick Morris has been instrumental in providing
details that, until he opened his mouth, were unknown to the likes of
the layperson.  Mr. Morris has pointed out that in the 1992 election
Hillary was intentionally made the focal point.  Even at the Republican
Convention Hillary was the focal point.  Mr. Morris successfully
detracted from Bill Clinton by making someone else the focus of the
media and those involved. Does anyone else find it odd that before
Biden spoke the McCain campaign had an ad out dealing with the
subject?  Obama is looking for a way to detract attention from himself
and he has most certainly found it.  He chose a man who, not only made
racist comments about Indians and Obama himself, but has such a
tremendous bout of diarrhea of the mouth that the media and attention
will magnetize to him.  While everyone is focusing on Biden, Obama will
slip into the shadows and receive nothing as far as critical attention
is concerned.  It worked for Bill Clinton and it will work for Obama if
we're not careful.  Obama named a man who is the antithesis of who
Obama claims to be.  Again, he cannot attack McCain for being an
insider anymore.  After all, McCain is not much older and Biden has
been in Washington longer.  Obama seeks to be out of the spotlight now
that he has baked in it.  Granted, Joe Biden is a loud-mouthed NoBama,
but if we all focus on that like Obama wants us to, we will have lost
focus on what's important.  Anyone will tell you that the VP pick is
trivial in the grand scheme of things, let's not make it more than it
is.  Keep the focus on Obama.  Keep the focus where Obama doesn't want
it which is on him.  I can promise that Biden will make remarks that
are intentionally crude, rude, outlandish and noteworthy, but listen
people, that is called strategy.  The less focus on Biden and the more
focus on Obama is best.

Rub your eyes, clear your lungs of the smoke screen and let's get on
with what really matters - Obama is clueless and smoke and mirrors
cannot detract from the fact that our country deserves better.

DOH!

Sorry for the double-post.  Unintentional

     You could

You could easily say the same about our current leader:

“Rub your eyes, clear your lungs of the smoke screen and let's get on
with what really matters - Bush was and still  is clueless … smoke and mirrors (thanks to the in the shadow McCain adviser, Rove)
cannot detract from the fact that our country deserves better. "

The last 8 years were horrible
why do we need 4 more of McSame?

so often Republicans criticize others for what they fail to admit hails true about themselves!

Why do we need Carter's Second term?
