Memorial day in Israel, which falls the day before Independence day of Israel, we have one Television station that starts posting the names of the fallen soldiers who died defending Israel, from the Independence war till the present.
Also at 10 P.M. a two minute siren is sounded and everyone stops what they are doing and stands at attention and that includes cars that stop on the highways. A very moving site to see, believe me

My Daugter's Courage

She looked at me, green eyes steady, and replied, ''Mother, I'd die for my president."
My knees buckled when I watched the large airplane disappear into the clouds. She returned safely. But I have never forgotten her words. Never.
