Ever noticed how all the most outspoken GW alarmists don't seem to care enough to change THEIR lifestyle?  Gore, Sting, Huffington ... the list goes on ... all seem to like to live in huge mansions and travel the world by jet with a fleet of cars in their garage(s).  Of course if anyone notices they simply rationalize their blatant consumption around their position as an "activist".  I guess they never heard of the old adage: practice what you preach.

I'm just waiting for the ultimate excuse to surface, you know, the one where the guy who fools around on his wife asserts HE's the victim because he's a sex addict and just can't control himself.  Sooner or later one of these GW hypocrites are going to try that angle.

Everyone knows how much these liberals, elitists and socialists LOVE Christianity (insert sarcasm here). So when they're caught with their hands in the global warming cookie jar, why not trot out this old ditty from the guy they love to hate, Jesus Christ himself.

And we all know why Mrs. 'dandle her grandkids on her knee and take care of the entire country' said it. She thinks that Christians are a bunch of idiot hayseeds morons who don't really read the bible. She thought she could pull any Democrat talking point out her backside and SAY it was out of the bible, all the while thinking 'These stupid morons will believe anything I say if I just tell them it's in the Bible.'

Too bad she did'nt do some studying herself. Now she's guilty of wresting the scriptures, and if she doesn't watch out there are some heavy spiritual penalties in store for her.

The Global warming hype is finally starting to crack under the weight of it's own stupidity, having been blown out so big that even the ignorant are looking at it and saying 'that just don't sound right'.

But if the celebrities and mega-stars out there want everyone else in the world to go without electricity, and live in mud huts and wigwams, let's see THEM sell all their worldly posessions and do it themselves first. Unless they're willing to live by the 10th century lifestyle they're advocating, they haven't earned the right to tell anyone else how they can live.

Looking at the picture in the original Daily Mail article leads me to think that it's about time for the esteemed Mr. Sumner (Sting to the masses) to trade up for a newer model of trophy wife. The current one is just a tad tarnished and dented, wot?

I'm sorry to hear that the folks at The Daily Mail and Newsbusters are being so hard on you.  I, for one, would really like to support you in your lifestyle choices.

Granted, you're not a scientist working on a cure for cancer, or a grade school teacher educating our young.  Heck, you're not even a person who makes toothpaste so that we can have better dental hygeine (something I hear is important in Britain).  Nonetheless, you are married to some guy who sings songs about girls in red dresses and about stalking people (which I hear is popular at weddings).  And I would guess that you do something really important too.  At a minimum, you are a pasta connoisseur and we all know that the world needs more pasta connoisseurs.

Yeah, you're carbon footprint is 30 times larger than the average Briton.  And we don't even know about your handprint, which I bet is just gorgeous.  But remember, you are really important to the world.  Kings back in medieval England needed really big castles and court jesters in silly hats to keep them entertained because they were really important to us too.  Don't you worry about us modern day peasants.  We are more than happy keeping our small huts -- I only have 1 not 7 -- at a balmy 52 degrees Farenheit in the winter and a comfy 94 in the summer.  Don't you worry your pretty little head about us.  I'll only eat organic deer and rabbits that I hunt for myself, unless of course you want to take away my guns too. 

So you don't let those mean old folks at Newsbusters bug you anymore Trudie.  You just go on livin' the vida loca and remember ...
