Wow, Mr. Lindorff ... Sounds as if you'd better hope you never find yourself in a "red state" ER needing some of that darned "red state" blood ... Can't have you leaving the hospital dragging your knuckles and scratching your pits.

BTW, in the event what you have written even comes to pass by half, the "red state" populations WILL move into "blue state" areas (with their guns) and survive quite nicely, as "red staters" tend NOT to wait around for the government to rescue them ... Also, remember where "blue state" food comes from ... That "red State" agri-area(s) you seem to have condemned.  So, I imagine the "blue staters" will either starve to death, or convert to something very similar to what is depicted in the current Will Smith movie "I Am Legend", sans the virus (or maybe with said virus) ...

I am noting a common thread here among my fellow NB's posters ... That "red staters" don't tend to stand and watch when doom is nearing ...

That they either get the hell out of the way (opposite of the very "blue" New Orleans/Louisiana) ... or bravely stand and fight (as in joining the military and facing the enemy that would kill us).

Oh, and I don't know if the map being used on this thread is one from this Bozo's article, or one Noel found to use (perhaps on purpose) ... But sure reminds me of the map from the 2004 Presidential election showing the states that went for Bush ...

This is incorrect on so many levels it is ridiculous. First off Dutch-style dikes will save the Northeast, but not the Southeast? Also if all that drought ruins the Midwest, then where will CA get their water? There is much more stupidity here then this.

Lindorff is simply a pinheaded, elitist, legend-in-his-own-mind snob living in lala land who thinks anyone who dares to disagree with him is not worth saving because it is too much trouble to educate such neanderthals. What he does not realize is it is he who is the close-minded, knuckle-dragging neanderthal who regularly ignores the inconvenient facts that counter his ill-conceived points of view.

 Liberals don't seem to have any problem with illegal aliens invading their own country. Imagine if migration patterns changed and American born conservatives started showing up in their neighborhoods. The whining would start faster than you can say "Al Gore is an idiot".

I know someone mentioned it already about a lot of blue states being near water...but if their fairy tale of global warming does come to fruition (it won't) then here are some lovely towns that would also likely go underwater...Seattle, San Francisico, Boston, New York, LA...and given people who don't wait for the government to help out will move, dare I say more liberals would die than conservatives.

Let's see, the sea level is supposed to rise 20 feet (or so) in the next 15 years (assuming the idiot's cats are now kittens).

There isn't that much of Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, or the other coastal states that are 20 feet or less above mean sea level.  But, let's follow the fool's reasoning.  The sea levels rise, inundating the coastal states.  That means such cities as New York, Boston, Seattle, L.A., and such are going to be drowned.  That means a doodoo load of liberals are going to die, because "everyone knows" that liberals are too stupid to get out of the way of natural disasters.  That'll mean that the political leanings of the population of the country will shift to the right.  Which means that Congress, the Presidency, and the Supreme Court will all shift rightward, too.  Which means that many of the marxist wealth redistribution programs will be done away with, which means that a lot more liberals will starve to death.  With the wealth redistribution programs gone, it will mean that a lot more liberals will turn to crime instead of going to work, which means that, especially in those states with Castle Doctrine laws, a lot more liberals will end up dead at the hands of ticked off conservative home owners.

Assuming the moron's original premise of global warming is correct, his conclusion is still wrong: global warming will save the country from liberalism ... eventually.  Where's the downside of that?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel smarter after reading where this clown thinks the red states are going to end up.  Doesn't he realize places away from the coast tend to average 500 to 1000 feet above sea level.  "The Mean Elevation of the state of Oklahoma is 1300 feet above sea level".  Those dikes around the jewels of the liberal meccas better start going up soon, if they're going to be in place for the flood
