So, did you hear about that chemical explosion at Fox News Channel's headquarters in Manhattan yesterday?

Fortunately, there were no fatalities.

However, judging by some of the comments at USA Today's On Deadline blog, not everyone was pleased by the lack of injuries.

In fact, some were wishing ill for Fox employees and management (reader is advised to proceed with caution, as the following is a tad offensive):

Couldn't have happened to nicer faux news corporation. Next time they should take aim at Rupert Murdoch's yacht.

They are investigating the lack of fair and balanced objectivity that is presumed missing and most likely dead at this point.

According to CNN!!!! CNN scoops FOX News on an explosion in the FOX building. LOL. Fox was probably too busy propping up Bushie to notice a news story.

Bill O'Reilly will again ignore the facts and blame the explosion on terrorists.

I sure hope Bill O'Reilly was in some way personally inconvenienced.

Interesting that there weren't any reports for abuse, wouldn't you agree?

Moving forward, it certainly would be no great surprise to see this kind of behavior at Netroots blogs such as Daily Kos.

However, what does it say about the state of media and our country that this occurred at the website of one of America's leading national newspapers?

wow... just wow

I'm glad no one was hurt, but I guarantee if it was one of the many left organizations, you'd hear nothing but emotional outcries for immediate medical assistance and a new bill would be proposed by Democrats.

Karma will get them.

hmm

this is "funny"..a leftist blogger/"reporter" falls down while walking her dog and the Media sends out all sorts of conspiracy theories of conservative-planned assaults.

You get a nasty little fire on the other side of the ideological spectrum and the same bloggers berate the accident and of course project upon the victims, the same motivation (to "blame it on terrorists", etc)

This morning I missed my FNC

This morning I missed my FNC fix as nothing but bug races showed on my TV, I wondered if a law was passed in congress outlawing FNC and they had to stop airing.  I actually turnd it on Good Moring Joe.  That Mika sure is creepy.

You give them way too much importance. The only reason anyone buys this "newspaper" is to get an overview on sports.

Color Coded like skittles to make it easy for the libtards

USA Today is just for sports.  That's the section me and my fellow travellers look for on the empty seats around us as we wait for our flight(s) to begin boarding.

As for the people who read it "seriously", they are the libtards that need color coding and cover sheets on their TPS reports in order to get anything done.  Didn't you get the memo?

Well, you get those kinds of people on both sides of the aisle. I'm not sure I'd make a big deal out of it. I confess to saying this to my father when I heard that Hillary Clinton's campaign office had a kidnapper inside: "Too bad Hillary isn't there, Dad. That'd be one less socialist to deal with." Very tacky, I know. And obviously I wouldn't want someone to kill Hillary. But you get my point. I get so angry at the overall left-wing bias in the media today, it's hard to stay focused on getting to the truth. Which is why I'm here at NB.
