Rosie and MSNBC End Talks

Rosie O'Donnell won't be following Keith Olbermann on MSNBC.

Everybody say awwwwww.

Maybe most delicious, by letting the cat out of the bag too soon, it appears Rosie killed the deal.

Imagine that: her big mouth hurt her this time instead of somebody else.

Talk about your instant karma.

As posted semi-coherently at Rosie's blog in the pseudo-English she seems so proud of:

Maybe it's just me but having the word "delicious" in an article about Rosie O'Donnell makes me gag.

They specifically told her to shut up about it and she didn't? (That's my guess because she says she "let it slip in Miami."

Of all the possibilities, I think that one is most likely. I think the decsion to hire her at all was iffy, and they probably figure that if she can't even take that minimal direction, there is nothing but serious trouble ahead, to say nothing of her other well known issues.

Probably because these gutless wonders always get the deal going and finalized long before the excrement hits any fans so they have time to run and hide back in their ivory towers, safely above the fray. That way when it goes over like a t**d in a punch bowl they can just blame and fire a few underlings below them and all is well again. The late night talk shows will just have to do something else without all the fodder Rosie would have provided. Left to her own devices I believe the show would have gone the way of the DoDo bird much like Katie Courics ratings. If you look closely you can actually see the helium ballons holding up the set on her show. The jig is up on these kinds of contrived programs and people just aren't interested (even liberals). Rosie probably would have had some early success just due to the morbid curiosity seekers; kind of like gawkers at a train wreck. You just want to be there when she finally lumbers over and throws herself on the electric fence.

I used to be a N/T fan/viewer ... The Rosie/Christian screwing scene (at one point, during their intercourse she asked him about macaroni and cheese ... ugh cripes!) was the "jump the shark" moment for me ... and damn, it was a 30 footer (Jaws) ... (and then there was the other doc's wife's affair with their dwarf baby nurse ...)

Done ... I'm done. N/T is DOA to me.

It's funny. Julian McMahon is one of my favorite actors, but I simply can't watch N/T. You may laugh, but I thought the TV show Charmed was halfway watchable (yes, what's not to like about Alyssa Milano), but it was better with McMahon. Once he left the show has been pathetic and I quit watching. Heh. I'll bet he got fed up with Shannen Doherty and left. Who wouldn't.

I must say I am disappointed that Rosie will not have her own show on NBC. It would have provided constant fodder for this web site. My impression is that she would have tried to present a serious show, which would have made it even more funny. There would have been the nightly black helicopter update and a constant airing of 9-11 Truthers. We came so close....

O'Donnell has proven time and again that SHE CANNOT WORK WITH ANYONE !!!

Everyone is her fodder. She will make her dominating demands in regards to ANY possible show ... and at some point MSLSD will be unable to cave to her, and the deal WILL fall through.

Having said that, IF she manages to indeed get a show on MSLSD she will self-destruct, again, and leave in a huff of bile, just as she did Walters and ABC ... and THEY actually have ratings.

Unless I am mistaken, there already is a Comedy Central cable channel ... MSLSD seems to be seeking the Not-So-Funny Comedy Central with their floundering pinball heads.

There is NO bath tub big enough for this bath tub girl ...

Between Keefy, Crissy, and Wosie, the entire network would be gone within a couple of months. I used to really love Rosie. I never knew of her sexual preferences, as I have no gay-dar detector. My husband said he always knew she was gay. I was clueless. Even if I had known, it wouldn't have mattered.

She used to be funny. I remember her on VH1 comedy specials back in the early 90's, and her talk show when it first started. I used to record it sometimes and watch when I got home from work. She was funny and loveable. She changed dramatically when she was outed as a lesbian. She got angry and doesn't seem to have chilled out yet. Ellen Degeneres (sp?) recouperated from the backlash of her outing, and has a hugely successful show now. Rosie could have been alright also, if she weren't so ... looking for expression... crazed?
