Free Beacon: How Many Times Can Hillary Fans Say 'Power Through' the Illness?

Check out this David Rutz video at the Washington Free Beacon that underlines how Hillary's spokesmen and media spinners both adopted the positive-sounding lingo that Hillary Clinton bravely tried to "power through" her pneumonia (while she failed to tell the truth about it). Over and over again, viewers heard this notion of Hillary's courageous battle with germs:

Rutz explained: "Campaign manager Robby Mook and spokespeople Brian Fallon and Kristina Schake all repeated the talking point ad nauseam in their cable appearances on Monday. The media picked it up as well, with reporters on CNN and MSNBC using the phrase to describe how Hillary Clinton bravely reacted to a pneumonia diagnosis on Friday."

Have we mentioned David Rutz just won the MRC's Noel Sheppard Award for excellence in blogging?

This puffery also happened on the radio. NPR's Hillary-beat reporter Tamara Keith explained on Monday's Morning Edition: "Donald Trump has been throwing slights at her for quite some time that she doesn't have the, quote, 'stamina to be president,' which may be one reason why she was just trying to power through and go on with her schedule until she decided to not power through and go on with her schedule for these next couple of days."

It was also in headlines. The top left headline on the front page of Tuesday's Washington Post was "Clinton wanted to 'power through.'"
