The Right Scoop reported (with audio) that Mark Levin opened his show on Wednesday night hitting back at all the election propaganda being spouted by the media and pundits after the New York primary results.
He told his national audience that if you’re a registered member of the Conservative Party in New York, you’re not allowed to vote in Republican primaries, about 150,000 members. It wouldn’t have changed the Trump victory, he admitted, but it certainly would have affected how Ted Cruz looked, and whether he took second place away from John Kasich. “It’s quite remarkable that Cruz got even 15 percent,” said Levin. He said he wasn’t opposed to a closed primary at all, but just insisted that information should matter to the pundits.
Trump got about 525,000 votes in New York and got 91 delegates, while Cruz drew about 531,000 votes in Wisconsin and won 36 delegates, he said. “I’m just pointing it out.” Then he went after Fox:
The Fox News Channel – the Donald Trump super PAC – hasn’t discussed any of this, all day long. Instead, the pom pom boys and girls are dancing all over the place. Telling you that everything’s changed, even though nothing’s changed. They repeat what Donald Trump says. They repeat what his sycophants say, his surrogates say.
Hillary Clinton got over a million votes, more than all the Republicans combined, at about 869,000. Bernie Sanders drew about 763,000. In all, the Democrats had almost a million votes more. And yet, Levin said, pundits have claimed Trump could win New York in November. “I’m going to tell you nobody can win New York on the Republican side. New York is going to Hillary Clinton, and it won’t even be close,” Levin said.
Levin predicted blue states like New York, California, and Illinois will run up big totals for the Democrats. So if the Republicans somehow win in the fall, he predicted, “They’re going to lose the popular vote and have to win by the Electoral College.”
He challenged the Trump crowd: “If that happens, are you going to yell 'One man, one vote'?”
