The Washington Post story on Mitt Romney's alleged high-school haircut pranks really turned the gears in Liberal Talk Radio Land. By Thursday afternoon, they were really digging into the apparent GOP nominee's high-school record.
Randi Rhodes said she believed this story "Because he's a sociopath! Listen, let me tell you something. This is the exact same George Bush mindset. This is Bush on the couch territory. OK - this is like - I mean, Mitt has been torturing gay kids we now found out long before he started torturing factory workers or family pets. Right? And George Bush did it too - George Bush was the same kind of guy!" Mike Malloy also jumped in with relish:
MALLOY: This man was a gay-basher, a bully, and someone who, in a very cold way, abused one of his own teachers who is blind. Now, all of this ought to endear him to the right wingers. The right wingers aren't sure about Romney because, you know, he - he's just doesn't seem to be a lot like them. Well, right wingers, this is your man! He's a liar! He's a bully! He picks on gay people! He picks on people who are physically challenged! This is right up your alley! This is your boy! Love him! Love him! Vote for him!
What do you mean, Romney is not conservative enough? All of that stuff is conservativism as you clown bastards define it now. This is your boy! He lies! He cheats! He steals! He fires people! He rips things to pieces! He beats up on folks if he's in a mob. That is so right-wing!
