The U.S. economy under President Donald Trump is already showing signs of great improvement. So if you are CBS News how can you spin this good news into something resembling bad news? You might think this could be an impossible task but on the May 25 CBS This Morning, they managed to put a very creative bad news spin on the good news economy as you can see delivered by Norah O'Donnell in the following video:

A new report says that the improving economy has a downside: more traffic deaths. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety says a stronger economy fuels more driving. The National Safety Council predicts more than 400 people could be killed in crashes this Memorial Day Weekend.
As could be expected, the CBS News tweet on the "downside" of the improved economy received quite a few amazed responses. Here is a small sampling:
@CBSNews I just can't even with this ridiculous report... and you wonder why people don't take you seriously

@CBSNews REALLY?? Now liberals will blame Trump for increased traffic deaths due to #MAGA.
— TheTruth (@PCsucks66) May 25, 2017
@CBSNews So Obama's economy was intentionally bad to save lives. Got it!

What next, CBS News? A report the downside of the improved economy stressing how hard it is to book reservations on cruise lines because of the increased number of people with disposable incomes?
