Exactly three weeks after its kickoff on Inauguration Day, Shia LaBeouf's anti-Trump livestream camera project has been shut down today by the Museum of the Moving Image in the Astoria section of Queens, NY. Yes, you will no longer be able to see leftists robotically chanting "He will not divide us" over and over again. Even more importantly, you will also no longer be able to laugh as Trump supporters often hilariously mocked those same leftists.
The museum released a statement listing the reasons for the closure, including the arrest of a certain "artist":

Artwork created an unexpectedly volatile situation and serious public safety hazards(NEW YORK, February 10, 2017) — The Museum of the Moving Image has closed HEWILLNOTDIVIDE.US, a participatory Internet streaming performance by LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner. The installation created a serious and ongoing public safety hazard for the Museum, its visitors, staff, local residents, and businesses.
The installation had become a flashpoint for violence and was disrupted from its original intent.
While the installation began constructively, it deteriorated markedly after one of the artists was arrested on the site of the installation and ultimately necessitated this action. Over the course of the installation, there have been dozens of threats of violence and numerous arrests, such that police felt compelled to be stationed outside the installation 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We take our commitment to the safety of our 200,000 annual visitors and 50,000 school children attending programs at the Museum seriously, along with the safety and security of our staff and community.
We are proud to have launched this engaging and thought-provoking digital art installation which was experienced by millions of online viewers worldwide. Until public safety concerns overrode the intent of the installation, HEWILLNOTDIVIDE.US generated an important conversation allowing interaction among people from many backgrounds and with different viewpoints. However, ending our engagement with the installation is the most prudent path forward to restore public safety to the Museum, its visitors, staff, and the community.
So it turns out that the arrest of LaBeouf was one of the reasons for the closure. Although he might now be complaining about the end of his anti-Trump project, ironically, many on the left are probably secretly relieved. Why? Because it soon became apparent after it began on January 20, that the Trump supporters dominated that livestream camera both with their time and creative mockery of the left.
While the liberals spent their time repeating their monotonous chant, it gave the Trumpers a golden opportunity to entertain the audiences with their mockery of leftwing groupthink. There are many comedic videos available showcasing these highlights on YouTube but the one video that is emblematic of the problem the leftists faced with the mocking by Trump supporters is the following epic meltdown video (strong language alert).
An anti-Trump chanter is yelling his lines at a guy known as Naruto in the foreground until he is able to hog the camera. There is a look of triumph on the face of the anti-Trumper...until Naruto exacts his hilarious revenge resulting in the Mother of all Meltdowns.
Exit question: Will Trump supporters now set up their own livestream camera project to keep the fun coming from Naruto, Old School Astoria, Jackie 4Chan, Brittany Venti, and others (even the incredibly glum Antifa Bjorn for the unintended laughs)?
