With the candidates health still in the news it was ripe for ridicule for Comedy Central’s The Daily Show and host Trevor Noah. But instead of focusing on Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton themselves, Noah’s initial desire was to hammer away at Trump’s doctor who he named “Dr. Lebowski.” “And look, I’m not saying that guy is qualified or not,” exclaimed Noah, “I’m just saying, I wouldn't trust this mother (bleep) in a game of operation.

All of Noah’s ire was directed at Dr. Harold Bornstein’s physical appearance. Dr. Bornstein is an older gentleman with long gray hair and glasses. “The guy who’s surprised you have to wear shoes at a restaurant,” Noah spat.

Noah played a clip from an NBC interview with Bornstein where he was being asked questions about the letter he wrote about Trump’s health. In the interview Bornstein stated that he does not normally use the phrase “astonishingly excellent,” but explained that he wrote the letter using Trump’s mannerisms and expressions. The Daily Show host seemed to take great offense to Bornstein’s explanation:

I'm sorry, what? He wrote the letter that way just for Trump? Your doctor isn't supposed to write the letter in your style of speech. That's not a thing. Mr. Borat's health is make glorious! Yes, he is as healthy as my wife! That’s not what you’re supposed to do.

He refused believe Bornstein’s newly released evaluation of the Republican presidential nominee. “Look I'm sorry man. Even if Donald Trump is healthy, I think most people can agree we can't accept results from Dr. Burning Man over here,” he assailed, “For a medical evaluation of a potential president, you need an opinion from a credible physician or at least someone who looks better on camera.

First Noah argued that he didn’t know if Bornstein was qualified, but then said Trump needed to be examined by a “credible physician.” So, which is it?

TREVOR NOAH: Speaking of health, both Donald Trump and Hillary's health, their records have been in the spotlight recently. And up until today the only thing we've known about Donald Trump is that his health is astonishingly excellent and that assessment came from this guy. Dr. Harold Bornstein. The guy who's surprised you have to wear shoes at a restaurant.

And anyway Dr. Lebowski over here. He recently did an interview with NBC, that was apparently shot with a colonoscopy camera. And he read his official letter on Donald Trump's health.

[Cut to clip]

DR. HAROLD BORNSTEIN: His physical strength and stamina are extraordinary. If elected, Mr. Trump I can say unequivocally will be healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.

UNIDENTIFIED REPORTER: Dr. Bornstein, phrases like “astonishingly excellent” seem a little bit over the top to some people. What do you think about that? Is that the way you write most of your medical letters?

BORNSTEIN: No, but for Mr. Trump I wrote that letter that way.
