NB's Graham on 'Cavuto': Media Acting As Mere 'Stenographers' for Obama Campaign Rhetoric
The liberal media generally but the Associated Press in particular are acting as mere "stenographers" for Barack Obama, failing to scrutinize the president's campaign rhetoric about the economy, NewsBusters senior editor Tim Graham noted on today's Your World with Neil Cavuto.
"As much as they say they hate being stenographers to power, this really is what we're seeing in this reelection year, and that is, oh, well, Obama said this today and Obama's going to do this today, and they don't seem to come up with any troublesome facts or counter-arguments," the Media Research Center director of media analysis told Stuart Varney, who was substitute-hosting the April 19 program. The media simply want to chalk all credit for any economic improvement in swing states like Ohio and Michigan to President Obama while overlooking what role Republican governors elected in 2010 had to play in the economy picking up, Graham argued.

No news THERE.
The liberal media has been covering the pustule-encrusted backsides of every Democrat crook, thug, pervert and junkie who manages to worm their way into the halls of power.
They've betrayed their motto of 'speak truth to power' for 'suck up to power' in exchange for Democrats forking over billions of dollars to keep their failed institutions afloat. CNN, MSNBC, NYT, PBS, NPR - all of these so-called 'news' organizations (and more) would have departed to the dung heap of history long ago if it weren't for Democrats raiding our tax dollars and forking it straight into their corrupt and greedy claws.
Like a Mooch-elle Obama food nazi ransacking a school child's lunchbox - the Democrats just can't help themselves. They're tyrants at heart and must be humbled, cast out of power and given a taste of the life they've tried to inflict on everyone else.

As Mark Levin says - they are repeaters, not reporters.

don't understand why Tim said at the end "that's just not what we're seeing this year." Tim surely knows that the media has been in the tank for the Left for many years. In other words, this year is no different than any other year.

This was not a statement built on experience, but on a sense of false hope -- "hey, this year could have been different." Or not.

I believe it was sometime in 2010 or early 2011 that several former members of the White House Press Corps complained that the current crop of White House reporters were basically stenographers for the Obama administration.

Here, as scandal after scandal breaks--->Secret Service, GSA, Solyndra, troops urinating, troops corpse trophy
photos, troops murdering civilians, the Putin mike comment, etc
this same media wont even begin to tie this events to the Dems, or Obama, etc
Instead, we get "I will be angry if this is true."
Did we get that kind of coverage in the Mark Foley case? Hardly.......

AsI looked online, looks like Bozell had a 5/9/2006 column bemoaning the one-sided coverage of
GOP scandals. And I forgot Malkin wrote a book by this title in 2009-->she will have no trouble
producing a sequel, that is for sure!

It's impossible to overstate the number of propaganda pieces the media will produce for their hero this year, under the guise of "news."
And yet, Obama says he "needs" $1billion to counteract the Republicans' attacks. If you count media coverage as "in-kind" contributions, he's probably go several times that going for him.
Sunday Morning Shows Are GOP TV

•Of one-on-one interviews, 70 percent of partisan-affiliated guests were Republican.
•The broader roundtable segments weren't much more diverse: 62 percent of partisan-affiliated guests were Republican
It seems that whatever the political climate or stories of the moment, Sunday TV gives us viewers an overwhelmingly ...conservative perspective on the world.

That's what happens when people like Arlen Specter & Joe Scab are identified with (R).

Alvin has very low standards or poor judgment. Probably both. The troll world is not know for either attribute.
