Bozell on Hannity 'Media Mash': NBC Deliberately Skewed Travyvon Martin Story with Selective Editing
Reacting angrily to selective editing by NBC that suggested racial animus by George Zimmerman, NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell complained to Fox News's Sean Hannity last night that NBC News was engaged in an "all-out falsehood." The story in question was a March 27 Ron Allen report on NBC's 'Today' in which 911 audio was edited to make it sound like George Zimmerman said "he looks black" immediately after saying "this guy looks like he's up to no good."
In the actual 911 audio, Zimmerman only described Martin's race after the dispatcher asked, "And this guy: is he white, black, or Hispanic?" "To edit that out is so distorting," Hannity complained. "Sean, it's not distorting, it's advancing a falsehood, it's worse," Bozell corrected the Fox News anchor. [see video below page break]
What's more, with Al Sharpton in the NBC family on cable channel MSNBC, the network has been ginning up another Tawana Brawley-like atmosphere where passions are whipped into a frenzy before all the facts are laid out on the table.
"The radical left has already acted as judge, jury and executioner in this. This is another Tawana Brawley moment we're looking at folks," Bozell noted, reminding viewers that "Sharpton never apologized for that" incident.
"Every single person who hung this person [Zimmerman] without knowing the facts has got to respond to this," Bozell complained.

Right after the Tuscon shooting.
It was without a doubt all caused by right-wing hysteria whipping up a crazed gunman to shoot Gabbie Giffords.
We heard it for weeks and still long after that. They couldn't actually pin it on Sarah Palin but...you know...she had something to do with it with all that right-wing angry talk.
This Zimmerman stuff is ten times worse and they are doing it right from their own studios. They want somebody to get to this guy and hurt him and they ignore all the actual deliberate attempts to cause violence.
Kill Zimmerman Twitter account...nothing.
Black Panthers offer a bounty for his capture....nothing.
Spike Lee tweets the address of some elderly couple....nothing.
Members of Congress screeching like drunken parrots how Zimmerman "hunted him down like a rabid dog"....nothing.
Who will they blame if Zimmerman is injured or killed...?
Certainly not themselves. They will blame him.
If he wasn't out there tracking down children with candy and executing them in the street them he would not have gotten hurt they will say.

What do the facts have to do with anything? We know the truth of racist America where a white man who's only partly white-Hispanic can shoot a bigger black man in cold-blooded self-defense. Haven't you heard of the troothful deceptions of Rigoberto Menchu, Nobel Peace Prize sinner (hmmm, who else has recently won that award?), and Dan Rather's October Surprise of the TANG memos that coulda shoulda been true.

Aesop’s shepherd boy cried wolf so often that villagers didn’t believe him when a very hungry wolf was really stalking his flock and the wolf ate all the sheep. Morals: Don’t lie and, when you do, you shouldn’t expect anyone to believe you when you finally tell the truth.

Those morals should be studied by blacks agitating for the condemnation and execution of George Zimmerman for killing Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Florida on February 26th, 2012.
Since the case went national, we have witnessed an almost unprecedented upheaval attended by astounding lies and distortions from black leaders. Not since Rodney King was portrayed as an innocent and large areas of Los Angeles were burned to the ground in 1992 have we seen such an outpouring of organized venom and mischaracterizations designed to instigate public discord.
Any untimely death is a tragedy and the death of a young man is especially tragic. However, the circus atmosphere created by professional race-baiters, by the media, and by Martin’s parents in the wake of the shooting is a shameful disgrace which only serves to needlessly stir up racial animosity and demean Trayvon’s memory.
Contrary to initial knee-jerk media coverage but according to the Sanford Police Department’s “Incident Report,” Zimmerman, a part-hispanic, registered Democrat, shot and killed Martin after the muscular, six-foot two inch Martin ambushed the overweight neighborhood watchman and pummeled him while he was merely doing his job watching the gated neighborhood in Sanford.
There can be no reasonable doubt as to Zimmerman’s injuries. Police first attempted to resuscitate Martin and then administered first aid to Zimmerman who was bleeding from his nose and head, and a laceration is visible on the back of his head in a survellance video shot at the police station.
Statements were taken from six people who witnessed the attack in whole or part.

That neighborhood will never be the same, not because of Zimmerman’s self-defensive actions but because Trayvon Martin has become a cause célèbre for fomentors of black rage, a dead but potent tool to stir up racial strife, the bread and butter for such people as Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan, and the New Black Panther Party.
As they continue to arouse racial passions in black communities and as mostly-black high school and college students throughout the country stage misguided protests . . .

I watched this segment and was practically screaming at the TV for Brent to stop soft-peddling his complaint.
"Advancing a falsehood"? C'mon Brent. Call it what it is. A LIE.
Brent should have said, "NBC LIED. Their anchors are LIARS. The quote was a deliberate LIE. NBC has lost whatever credibility it may have had remaining by airing this LIE. No one should believe anything NBC reports because clearly its reporters and anchors are not above LYING to the viewers."

What we have here is soft racism by the Obama Regime. How is this for discretionary use of law enforcement powers? How quickly would the FBI, the DHS and State Police be responding to a $10k bounty on Al Sharpton by the KKK or Aryan Nation? Yeah, we all know the answer to that one.
