Video: Tim Graham Discusses MRC Study on 'Occupy Wall Street' Coverage -- Oct. 14 'O'Reilly Factor'
NewsBusters senior editor Tim Graham appeared on the October 14 "O'Reilly Factor" to discuss the Media Research Center's (MRC) latest study entitled "A Tale of Two Protests: Media Cheer Wall Street Occupiers But Jeered Tea Partiers."
The MRC's director of media analysis noted that there were only "13 stories in the entire year of 2009" about the Tea Party movement while the Occupy Wall Street (OWS) movement has received "a dramatic amount of early coverage" with 33 network stories in the first 11 days of the protests. [MP3 audio available here; video follows page break]
What's more, the coverage of OWS has been largely favorable as the liberal media are "trying to inject some energy on the Left," Graham noted. This of course was even as the media shielded the OWS movement from ideological labeling. By contrast, much of the early Tea Party coverage by the media predicted the Tea Party movement would have a short shelf life and that it was "corporate astroturf" and not motivated by grassroots frustration among the American people.

and they've been waiting since Woodstock!
Big Journalism has learned that the Occupy Washington DC movement is working with well-known media members to craft its demands and messaging while these media members report on the movement.
I am just shocked. Shocked, I say.
Racism? PoCs need a PoA.... or whatever.
Another big difference.

When the Tea Partiers were out on the streets the networks were decrying how they were an angry ,violent and racist mob that was dangerous and short lived and a product of the right.
Now that the left has their own real angry, violent and racist mob the pundits are beside themselves with glee. MSNBC is so damned excited that many of their hosts ran into the streets and were practically in tears.
This isn't a product of the left. It's 99 percent of America.
They act as their private PR group.
Finally...thank God Almighty that they finally have their own mob.
It isn't that the left...

...."has their own..." the left IS "THE VERY ANGRY VIOLENT MOB". They always have been.
And this isn't new. Anyone who follows the left knows full WELL that this has been brewing under the surface for years.
I believe this whole thing was planned before the meltdown ever began. I believe liberals created this meltdown for this very purpose -- to weaken the United States economy and ultimately the Western way of life.
It was liberals who were pushing for the writing of subprime mortgages and called anyone who stood in their way racists! They set the banks up for a fall.

Liberalism = criminalism
Liberalism poses a clear and present danger to the security of the United States of America.

OWS types are following (stumbling?) in the footsteps of their forebears, the '60's demonstrators. Just what was meant by the Framers when they guaranteed the "right to peaceably assemble and to petition the government for redress of grievances" is embodied in the Taxed Enough Already movement, not the obstructionists of Occupy Wall Street.
All of the TEA party rallies, the town hall meetings and the public hearings that, because of the quote from the first article of the Bill of Rights cited above compels the government to listen to, Obama and the democrats ignored the cries to focus on job creation and to stop ObamaCare but were instantaneous on hearing the protests in Egypt and the "Arab Spring".
