Media Mash: Liberal Media Stooges Edition
Attacks on Republicans like Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, and Sarah Palin that compare them to the Three Stooges are just a sign that the liberal media is getting worried that their champion Barack Obama stands a good shot of losing next year's election. What's more, any Republican who gets attacked as an intellectual lightweight should "wear it as a badge of honor."
That's what NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell argued during the "Media Mash" segment on the August 25 "Hannity," after watching a clip of CNN's Jack Cafferty dismissing not just Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin but also their supporters, whom he said were "allergic to brains."

Three stooges
Submitted by OldmanRick on Fri, 08/26/2011 - 12:05pm.
The real three stooges within the current administration are reid, pelosi and the toddler n' thief. Those three are the biggest jokers of the 21st century.
Jack Cafferty???

And just what is it that leads Cafferty to think he is the final judge of all things brainy?
What an absolute putz. I think it's time for a new fall show called sucker-punch a media smartass. I would love to watch Cafferty's face getting hit in slow motion.
Cafferty left out: Perry, Palin and Bachmann are "poopey-faces"

Brilliant analysis by Cafferty.
Question for Cafferty

If those who support Bachmann, Perry, and Palin "allergic to brains", what would that make a person stupid enough to vote for the total failure that is Obama in 2012??
Hmmm...

"Believe in" global warming??? It is a religion to them, isn't it?
"Ponzi scheme?" Well...
She is effectively saying that Rick Perry is unelectable because he is not a liberal zombie...
Worse, he's unelectable because, well, because HE IS RIGHT!
wow...
Yeah, it sounded to me like a campaign commercial

for Perry. I was expecting to hear him say "I approve of this message" at the end. Maybe Newsbusters just eliminated that part of the clip.
The liberal media is doing
Submitted by deerjerkydave on Fri, 08/26/2011 - 1:37pm.
The liberal media is doing their best to portray Perry as unelectable. But don't their own polls show that if the election were held right now that Perry would beat Obama or at least strongly challenge him?
I remember when Clinton ran against Bush and EVERY DAY we heard from the media how Clinton was leading Bush in the polls. Where's the media now when both Romney and Perry are leading Obama in national polls like Gallup?

Submitted by Mike Bratton on Fri, 08/26/2011 - 1:11pm.
Really?
Any given Republican?
Anyone who, you know, gets all attacked and such?
By, say, being called "bizarre"? Or a "buffoon"? Or an "ass"?
In, for example, some liberal venue such as, oh, I don't know... CNN.com?
Just seeking a little clarity on the subject, Brent.
See, while I'm not "allergic to brains" (as Cafferty said in a very zombie-centric way), open hypocrisy does turn my stomach.

What is the strategy here.....?
Submitted by NeoKong on Fri, 08/26/2011 - 1:16pm.
He is obviously shilling for Obama (as usual) by doing his best to insult anyone who might challenge him.
The question I would ask here is does he think that by insulting literally tens of millions of people that somehow those people will now vote for Obama just to appease some alcoholic loser on TV....?
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they try this last year before the November massacre? Didn't the unions in Wisconsin pull the same crap before they were rejected by the voters ?
Hasn't Obama been pulling this doo doo since the day he was sworn in and now he polls in the thirties.
Does Cafferty ever wonder why after watching one ratings loser after another come and go at CNN that he has never been offered his own show....?
Even a guy busted with a hooker got his own show.
Well, if theyre The Three Stooges,,,

These vitriolic, malicious ad
Submitted by Beukeboom on Fri, 08/26/2011 - 2:02pm.
These vitriolic, malicious ad hominem attacks on conservatives by the MSM merely proves that the MSM has run out of substance.
But they actually ran out long ago...
Jon Huntsman
Submitted by rightwinghawk on Fri, 08/26/2011 - 5:30pm.
....is the media's guy. They love him. He's this year's McCain, the Republican darling of the left. Why? He craps all over Republicans. His liberal admirers would turn on him in a flash if he would happen to get the Republican nomination, which he won't. I have a liberal friend who told me he really used to like McCain, until the 2008 campaign. I said, "You mean when he stopped criticizing his Republican colleagues and went after your guys." Yeah, my friend said. He honestly didn't grasp the irony.
I think Huntsman will remain
Submitted by Beukeboom on Mon, 08/29/2011 - 10:44am.
I think Huntsman will remain at or near the bottom of the GOP candidates and may be doing this to get him publicity in order to aid him in running for lesser office.
So let me get this straight.

So let me get this straight. If you don't worship at the Church of Global Warming, that makes you unqualified to be president? If you understand the difference between sound science and pseudoscience, this makes you "allergic to brains"? Now you know why we call them "lefties"; everything is upside-down, inside-out and backwards with them.
