MRC's Bozell on August 12 'Fox & Friends' Discussing How Media Downplayed Wis. Recall Elections

By NB Staff | August 12, 2011 | 16:21

A  A

Editor's Note: Mr. Bozell will be on Fox News's "Your World with Neil Cavuto" around 4:45 p.m. EDT today to discuss the Wisconsin recall results and may also give his thoughts on last night's Republican presidential debate.

"These [Wisconsin] protests were supposed to be the rebirth of the Left going into the 2012 campaign" and yet when the "unions threw everything they had" they came up short of taking the state senate from Repubilcans, NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell noted on today's "Fox & Friends."

Because the effort completely fizzled, it's no surprise the liberal broadcast media spent very little time reporting the results of Tuesday's recall election. "This was a huge Republican victory that nobody heard about," the Media Research Center founder added. [video embedded below page break]

Not only downplayed. Most in the MSM refused to even mention it.

I wish that any of the "news" anchors would debate Brent B. on bias.

I would just love to hear stephie try to answer when asked why ABC had zero coverage.

Just once, can't these "news" anchors be called out on their coverage?!

NBC

Submitted by TamiB on Fri, 08/12/2011 - 8:35pm.

NBC didn't have to cover the Wisconsin recall election results since MSNBC brought out their big guns and spent the night covering the events; that is at least until it became clear, the Democrats had lost.

"But resist we much… we must… and we will much… about… that… be committed"

liberal zombies will go over the cliff with these secular progressive media types, i.e. lemmings.

I can't wait for the Dems to be recalled and if they are not, well Wiscy should be renamed Whiskey because someone is drinking the spiked punch!

Good reason

Submitted by Scottyb4292 on Sat, 08/13/2011 - 7:00am.

There is a very good reason why the lamestream media did not report on the GOP WI victories. It's because their hearts are shriveling in sadness as they see the liberal dream fade away. Reporting on the defeat of the unions and the Democratic Party and of the entitlement state would make them choke on their own blood. Their eyes would be blinded by tears and Diane Sawyer's hair would fall out.
Some of them are wondering how they will be able to bear reporting on the landslide victories when they come next year. There are some things that are just too terrible to speak of.
