Not when it's the "correct" ideology....i.e. the position that they want to promote. Then science doesn't matter, it's the "consensus" of opinion that's all-important.

So, who's going to investigate albore to see if he conspired to spead lies for his own personal gain?  He was the spearpoint of the hoax, the biggest lair of them all.  Will he get away with it?  Probably, because he will lie his way out of it.  I can see him now sitting in front of another congressional committee talking down to all the questioners and maintaining his holiness and greatness.  Truly, ManBearPig is one the lowest political snakes in history. 

Let's prosecute them for fraud. Oh wait...we're too busy giving war criminals a forum in a civilian court to spew hatred and ramp up future 9/11's. The WSJ published a bunch of the e-mails and they are somewhat shocking to read.  If this had to do with accounting or some industry it would lead to public outrage and convictions.  I guess these "scientists" never got the message that if you are going to collude and commit fraud don't leave a trail exposing yourselves.  I'll be interested to see how this can possibly be spun.  The NYT's refusal to publish "e-mails not intended for public view" is comical.

Let's move forward on all questions of changing climate based on this rule: any report supporting or refuting the theory of AGW will be treated as worthless propaganda unless the underlying base data is included in the report.

This is the m.o. of the priests and prophets of socialist, secular humanist, PC philosophy.  It's not limited to climatology, it's in other areas of science, social science, education, politics, media...  

This episode is just a peek under the hood... 

Years ago, as I worked toward a degree in Environmental Science with a major emphasis on government and regulation in Florida I became aware of the overwhelming influence of politics in the science. Even in the early '70s it was apparent that there were only two courses available. In academics the more advanced, graduate courses all led down the path of a correct viewpoint. Even in the contacts I had with those already with Florida's Coastal Zone regulators the same bias was carried over from school. On the other hand, those in government who had to be elected in the conservative, tourism oriented area were not going to believe or even want to see reports or plans that might restrict development. The tension between county commissioners and the staff of the planners was almost Stalinquese, pins and needles stuff. In the end, real science takes a hit. Back then the scientists were trying to see how far they could push the truth before getting sqashed by the pols. Now I reckon, the scientists have idiots like Gore and Obama in thier pockets and figure they can hide the truth in favor of thier supposed "Good."

They have suborned their purported scientific views to their political ones. This proves that any particular scientific theory is capable of being elevated to an ideology or even a religious-like level that takes over.

Man-made Global Warming is a hoax. Makes you wonder what other theories have been hoaxes too?

This will be covered up and/or ignored by the MSM for as long as possible just like ACORN and the Van Jones and Czar scandals were.

All one had to do to see this for the hideous fraud that it is was to do a little bit of research into who was behind it. Talk about flaming red flags.

Sad that so many billions have been, and have yet to be, wasted to "fight" something we have absolutely no control over, and sadder still to think how many here in America have had their freedoms and liberties trampled upon by this hideous fraud.

Our elected representatives have failed us.  

So, I'm on my way to work in Orange Park, FL this morning, and I see that I have a green light at the last intersection (Wells and Blanding) that I need to get through.  I'm about to cross Blanding when a deputy Sheriff orders me to stop.  I then see that Blanding Blvd traffic is stopped, and they're stopping all the traffic on Wells Rd.

So, I'm sitting... and sitting... and sitting, for just about 15 minutes, wondering all that time what the Hell is going on with these cops.  Then I see a Jacksonville Police car come to the intersection, then two motorcycle cops, then two more, and two more, then two cruisers.  Next I see three completely blacked-out SUVs with strobes flashing through the tint in the windows, and I'm like "what the Hell is going on?  Then comes the Palin luxury touring coach, followed by another four police units.

So, the woman who proclaims her status as an average person left real average people sitting at an intersection, during rush hour, for at least 15 minutes so she could get to a book signing with her luxury bus.  I've seen Governor Bush's and Crist's motorcades, and I've never seen the blacked-out SUVs, so they must be travelling with the bus. 

I can't speak for all the average people out there, but I know I don't have a $500,000 bus, or special security details driving Secret Service-wannabe SUVs, and am able to take up the time of about a dozen police officers to get to a business event.  I guess there's a secret handshake going on somewhere?

I noticed on the TV box today that the Bamster put his hand on his heart during the national anthem at a ceremony for the Indian P.M. Did Ax tell him to clean up his act, or has he finally agreed to take some protocol pointers from those in the White House who are paid to do just that?
