For general discussion and debate. Possible talking point: how will apologists try to spin this one?

Soldiers who witnessed the shooting rampage at Fort Hood that left 13 people dead reported that the gunman shouted "Allahu Akbar!" — an Arabic phrase for "God is great!" — before opening fire, the base commander said Friday.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families. This is just more evidence that Hasan had assumed the role of Jihadist in the massacre.

"Allahu Akbar!" — an

"Allahu Akbar!" — an Arabic phrase for "God is great!"

Actually it means "greater". It derives from when "allah" was simply the moon god, 1 of 360 gods in the "kaaba", and the new cult swept away the others, making "allah", the moon god, the "greater" one.

What it means today is they think by killing people, women, children, whoever, that it means their "allah" moon god is "greater" than the God of the Bible, real God.

"just more evidence that Hasan had assumed the role of Jihadist in the massacre"

Is evidence really needed? Of course. This is 9/11 on just a numerically smaller scale. 9/11 wasn't about the building going down, it was about the PEOPLE MURDERED. So here they have killed 13. Is that such a lesser crime?

NB: by crime, I mean against

NB: by crime, I mean against humanity. Of course it is an act of war, not a simple crime to be dealt with by the courts like a shoplifter.

Not That Important If You're The AP

The most recent AP report buried the shocking "Allah Akbar" comment in the 7th graph.  I guess that's only of passing importance to the AP.  Losers.

"...the new cult swept away

"...the new cult swept away the others."

More accurately, the armies of Mohammed swept away the others by forcing conversion to the new political religion at the point of a sword.

Mohammed knew that the only wat to rule the Arabs was to unify them, and the only way to do that was by getting them all under one religion.  So, he made one up, became its prophet, and set out on his jihad - which has killed millions and enslaved hundreds of millions over the centuries.

The Inquisition was disgraceful, but it was peanuts compared to all the Islamic "holy" wars and the oppressive regimes it has spawned.

We are at war with a religion, not a country.

Time to face reality.

But I am sure that before this is done the SCM will spin this to make the Fort Hood murderer a victim of a bad uncaring arrogant America.

By the way SCM there is no need to make this man’s name infamous. Why
mention his name anymore? He is caught. If you need a noun for him call
him the Ft. Hood murderer. Make his name as dead in the MSM as his
victims are. Don’t give him fame where none is needed.

Alleged, Suspect. Shooting incident

These are the words AP is currently using. As well as these phrases:

"mostly very quiet" person

never spoke ill of the military or his country

had some "difficulties" that required counseling and extra supervision

he had been harassed about being a Muslim - Some people can take it and some people cannot

had sought a discharge from the military for several years

He was mortified by the idea of having to deploy

attended prayers regularly

Nothing stood out about Hasan as radical or extremist

I suspect America is going to be blamed, especially the "intolerant and mean" military -- and Bush, of course, for driving this innocent victim insane.

Poor Muslims

I became a Christian at the age of 13.  I am now nearly 58.  Over the years I have been harassed, insulted, and made fun of for my faith more times than I can count.  Not once in all those times did I ever think or feel that I needed to assault or kill anyone in response.  Jesus warned his disciples that such things come with the territory of being his followers.  Muslims, however, seem unable to endure the slightest insult as Islam appears to be the Religion of Perpetual Outrage.

May I add...

Bob, Islam and LIBERALISM are the religions of perpetual outrage.

Secret Con

I just made that my new facebook status..... thanks! (and credited you @ NB, of course :))

my apologies

On NB this subject is the only one where I seem to be the only disagreeing Christian. IMO these psychos aren't any more Muslims than David Koresh was a Christian...

Never the less if one insists they are Muslim than the percentage of Muslims who are terrorists is probably about 1% at best - but who here is going to buy any of that - your minds are made up. The probability facts remain that less than 15% of all Muslims live in the Middle East, and less than that in terrorist hotbeds worldwide, and even less of those who actually condone terrorism, and even less of those who actually practice it. There are many millions of Muslims in Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, China, the Arabian peninsula, north Africa, not to mention much of Europe and north America. Only a handful could possibly even condone terrorism much less practice it...

Even if 1,000,000 Muslims have blown themselves up in the last 100 years - that's still only about .010 percent of the current population.

I don't equate contemporary Christians to today's Muslims. But we do know that some have bomb abortion clinics, are violent and kill homosexuals, some are very anti-semetic, some are very racist - the KKK is exclusively Christian, WW2 Germany was Christian - a major justification for killing Jews at that time. Some black-Christian churches are racist against non-blacks. Same with the white christians of yesteryear who enslaved blacks and stole the lands from the indigenous...

And furthermore this is not just a 2009 problem. Religious wars have been going on long before we heard of Muslim terrorists.

Congratulations Jimmy Carter!

I'll drink to that...

Too bad I have to wait 'til 5.

Cheers.

MV & TM

I pity that you people equate the two. Do so at your own risk.

Hey buddy

I don't discount the crazies affilliated with radical Islam, I just differentiate them from folks who aren't blowing shit up.

MV

Well, the two religions on so many levels are completely different. One runs utterly counter to a Western, modern culture and way of living -- which you and I both enjoy. You know which one.

And again, when you combine actual Jihadists, those in training, those sympathetic, those who abide by some very barbaric rules in the Koran, i.e. view/treatment of women and forced dressing, family rituals, etc. and add it all up -- ALL of which falls under the category of "crazy" in a civilized 21st Century world -- you are no longer talking about a small minority... and possibly not even a minority at all.

I think we both know...

...where the other stands, so let's just leave it at that.

And if I want to have that beer at five I need to start doing some actual work instead of arguing on the internet.

http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p14/mvfreeman/12345.jpg

MV

Well, hold on. Where do you stand? One religion in so many ways runs counter to Western culture and life, and it's being played out in bloodshed all over the world.

You disagree? Or you have some slightly different take on it? No name calling, I promise, but we're here to debate, non?

EDIT: Props on the pic, btw... and that's exactly how I feel. I don't have a wife to answer to, though, so I'll be here. :p

Well right now its my job calling

"Well, hold on. Where do you stand?"

I made a quick summation under "hey buddy".

Late.

MV

But you have nothing to say, still, regarding any concerns with Islam the religion itself? You are confident in seeing it as just another religion with it's own bad apples, but one that is no different from others otherwise?

A yes or no I guess will suffice on these.

And hiding behind constant "gotta run" but continuing to post is, well, lame.

It's five o'clock

It's five o'clock somewhere!!!

My apologies too, TM

...WW2 Germany was Christian - a major
justification for killing Jews at that time.

I have never read a more despicable assertion than that on Newsbusters..

~He specializes in that

In order to be pro-choice, one must first be born. Ah, the irony.

Anyone can claim to be a

Anyone can claim to be a Christian.  That doesn't make it truth.

Anyone can claim to be a Muslim.  That doesn't make it truth.

Here is the truth...

A "devout" muslim will read and study the Koran.  This book will instruct him to kill.  If he is devout, he will follow the "commandment".  If he is not, he will go against it.

A "devout" Christian will read and study the Bible.  The Bible will teach to love and obey God's commands (i.e. - Thou shalt not kill, lie, steal...etc.).  If he is devout, he will follow those commands.  If he is not, he will go against them.  God never once told us to bomb an abortion clinic.  And if the fruit who did it said that God told him to, that person is A LIAR.

I'm really tired of everyone calling muslims who kill/harm others only the "radicals".

Islam + Political Correctness = Dead Americans

Hasan was under investigation six months ago for his radical (I say mainstream) Islamic views.

I have two questions:

  1. What was this person still doing in the U.S. Army?
  2. Why was he allowed to run around on a U.S. Military base in wartime, armed to the teeth?

Somebody dropped the ball in a big way here, and needs to be held to account for their (in)action.

If a person who was this blatant about their ant-American beliefs was allowed to remain in the military unmolested, you have to wonder just how many other Islamists might there be in the ranks who are less vocal, but every bit as "radical"as is Hasan.

Are we going to wait for one of these uniformed primitives to blow up a barracks, blow a hole in the hull of a warship, or crash a fully-armed fighter into the island of an aircraft carrier to find out?

It's time to get the Islamists out of our military entirely, preferably before mindless Political Correctness gets even more of our military personnel senselessly killed.

This should not have happened, as it could have been easily prevented

Perhaps there should be. If you actually bother to learn what it actually SAYS in their "koran", rather than assume that "all religions are equal, it's all the same, people trying to be good etc", which is what a modern TV-educated atheist/agnostic thinks, you will find that if they actually believe that book, they are commanded to do whatever it takes to convert, kill, and take over everything. It's a virus.

And then, like the Congressional black caucus -- if you investigate more muslims than, say, Christians, you can be accused of "targeted racism" -- so naturally, you have to avoid those investigations because obviously muslim is the religion of peace, dontcha know.

This stoopid PC bullsh*t is going to get us all killed if this lunacy isn't stopped.

-Dave

Our elected representatives have failed us.

They are doing what they have to do

How is filling critical positions being "stylish"?

To answer your question...

Yes, we are...("Are we going to wait...") because political correctness is the antithesis of courage. Courage requires an absolute set of moral principles - standing firmly on what you know to be right and denouncing what you know to be wrong - but we have embraced a culture of cowardice that says if you stand on righteousness and moral conviction, you are "hateful" and discriminatory.

We will wait for another 9/11 because we lack the character and the courage to stop it.

Until we have the courage to stand up and say enough is enough to political correctness - holding our companies accountable for imposing it in the workplace and our politicians for hiding behind it - nothing will ever change. Ultimately, if this is not dealt with, we will raise a generation who will just let our enemies walk right into our country - unchallenged -  and do with it what they will.

Of course, Dave, their inaction was due to political correctness.

Wouldn't do to imply that a Muslim might be just  half-bubble off plumb...that would be racist, or bigoted, or whatever.

Political correctness is going to be the death of us (or at least many more individuals) in this country.

Are we going to wait for one of these uniformed primitives to blow up a
barracks, blow a hole in the hull of a warship, or crash a fully-armed
fighter into the island of an aircraft carrier to find out?

Yes, we are.  And even after that, they will find a way to whitewash it as a "disaffected soldier" and posit any number of reasons (other than Jihad) to explain the attack.

I'm expecting another round of liberal hand-wringing, whining that we have to bring our troops  home and stop this "war-mongering"....this is another indication that they are cracking under the pressure.

PC already is...

Being "politically correct" has already killed us. The ACLU has already claimed quit a bit of that freedom from us.  One person out of a whole country can complain about something and then it can change the rest of the country for life.  Our freedoms of speech, religion (hate crimes bill), is just another way of showing how the NEW WORLD ORDER of Obamunism is taking over.

The days of morals, ethics, responsibility, consideration and most of all respect are gone and our own people are to blame for it.  We as conservatives need to take that back.

"But a constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored.  Liberty, once lost, is lost forever." - John Adams

After 3000 dead Americans on 9/11, after all of the terrorist plots against Americans that have been thwarted since (and you can be sure there were probably 10 or more for every one we heard about), and given what happened yesterday in Texas, I wouldn't say we are all that insulated.

-Dave

Our elected representatives have failed us.

The questions I have

And they are numerous:

First of all, his background.  Of course, the US Media is slow to put anything out, but UK sources are better.  He hasn't been a psychiatrist all that long....and in training, there is a requisite amount of clinical supervision that is required (seems he was suspect in this regard) of new practitioners of the art of psychiatry.  If he was suffering from PTSD as has been stated (how can it be Post, he hasn't been deployed?), why did his peers and/or supervisors not recognize his twistedness?

Secondly, as an Army psychiatrist, his specialty was dealing with PTSD?    Yet he openly criticized the mission (and by implication the men).  So how was he allowed to hold that position?  I don't get it.

I have no idea what goes on in the military medical corps, but I'd imagine the doctors get to play a little loose and fast with the rules.  If this guy had been in combat arms (or even non-medical support branches), I'm sure he'd have been looked at long and hard for openly having the views and arguments I've read that he had.

What's up with that?

I'd really like to hear from our military members, and those who have recently separated, because I'm drawing my conclusions from my own experiences, which were many years ago.

I hope he fails, too.

I have a question Blonde

If this nutjob could take this many lives on a military base with only two handguns, why is the Obama Administration still toying with nuke-lusting Iran?

Because, ac, Obama doesn't care

In his black little heart (oh yeah, someone call me a racist)...Obama is a muslim, and probably a jihadist.  So he's happy to see Iran succeed.

And another thing, anyone care to bet that not one member of the Obama administration will call it what it is...."domestic terrorism".  (Of course, it wouldn't surprise me to find out this guy was some sort of sleeper).

How's that man-made disaster thing working out for you, Reno II, um Janet Napolitano?

Pure incompetence, from top to bottom.

I hope he fails, too.

Ha B -

Reno II.

2012 can't come fast enough...

Blonde, you asked about

Blonde, you asked about PTSD. Here is what they're saying: A cousin, Nader Hasan, told The New York Times that after counseling soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with post-traumatic stress disorder, Hasan knew war firsthand. "He was mortified by the idea of having to deploy," Nader Hasan said. "He had people telling him on a daily basis the horrors they saw over there."

__________
"mmm, mmm, mm. Barrack-Hussain-Øbama↓." - The liberals coolaid drinking song

Mortified

I find the use of the word "mortified" interesting.  If she had said "terrified," it might make more sense.  But mortified means embarrassed.  So he was EMBARRASSED at the idea of being deployed to Iraq?  Was this because he didn't want to go to Iraq and be on the side of the Great Satan? And he was so EMBARRASSED that instead he chose to murder 13 people in cold blood?  Sorry, doesn't fly.  Also his EMBARRASSMENT caused him to bless Allah at the moment he committed this atrocity?  Sounds more like jihad to me.

Family tried to spin it

Family tried to spin it that he just didn't want to go where the fighting was and he was all about peace and he didn't even like guns. I could smell the stinking Islam cheese of lies right through my car speakers. And sure enough, he was a jihadist.

Oh, and I'm not sorry if I offended any Muslim readers. I want you to accept the one, true God of the Bible, or don't, but do NOT follow the phony Allah.

Public service announcement over.

“It is almost impossible to distinguish a politician from a gangster.” (Will Durant, 1931)

Wow.  If he didn't want to

Wow.  If he didn't want to go where there was fighting, what the Big H was he doing in the army??

So the peacenik felt it necessary to kill a dozen people to protest a war?

You're right. That stinks, on ice!!

I think he went into the

I think he went into the Army to go to school to be a shrink. They said last night he was wanting to pay the Army back for his training and get out. I have no idea of how many years one has to commit to for the Army to train in a medical field. I don't why he would be so upset about deployment. he was not going to have to kill anybody. Heck, he probably would not be armed in the rear area.

Semper suprene nitens

OBAMACARE: If it ain't good enough for my Congressman then it ain't good enough for me.

That is what I thought

That is what I thought too.  He has been in the military for a long time it seems getting an education.  He was not that good at what he was trained to do psychiatrist/psychologist.  Physician heal thyself.  He obviously was not the person his family says he was.  No one sets out to kill people unless they have an agenda.  Shouting the terrorist phrase kind of lets you know what his agenda was.  They are spinning this already because someone called him names.  Once again physician heal thyself.

They're already starting.

Last night when we saw our good man Brent on Hannity last night, what was it that I've heard from one of the other guests? Along the lines of "I'm glad that he's alive so we can learn what it was that drove him to do this and what the real cause of this was."

Of course, blame everything else but the killer.

Like this guy who wants to paint it on conservative talk pundits. http://answers.yahoo...

Otherwise, they're going to just use this tragedy as a means to make themselves feel more right about the "futility and evils of war" and still fantasize about a world where war can just suddenly disappear (despite that they're probably not aware of any other war other than the US and the Middle East), success for cheaters and the lazy, and chocolate unicorns.

This was a dry run

I see this as a dry run of something far bigger yet to happen.  There's no way this guy was not a sleeper agent of al Qaida or Hezbollah or whatever.

Look at the damage he caused (I thought there were two others, but they were released apparently), 13 dead and dozens injured.  If it were by himself, that's utterly horrific versus some sort of conspiracy, shows how much damage one person is able to do; imagine if this were a concerted effort, the damage from that would be devastating!

So yeah, this has to be a dry run to see how something would work, and I'd say this was very successful.

I was flipping back and forth between the Va Tech-ECU game to Fox to get updates on the killing at Fort Hood. O'Reilly had Al Sharpton on there discussing the black congresscriters like Rangel and Waters that are under ethics investigations. You know Sharpton blames it on race. I didn't see O'Reilly disagree with him. As a matter of fact it made me mad that he gave legitamcy to Sharpton. Later he had Alan Colmes who I think is the dumber than a 50 lb box of rocks.

Maybe flipping kind of skewed it a little

O'Reilly's premise was to ask--is this about race? The implication was that African-American legislators were more crooked since 15% of them were  under investigation. Sharpton said nothing had been proved on any of them--and he sort of didn't push the race allegation, but he also didn't say they were being persecuted for race. It was kind of confusing and I didn't get the point.

Our elected representatives have failed us.

Sick and tired of media coverups!!

This clown was no doubt a "sleeper cell" of one....he calmly went about his killing spree and shooting individuals multiple times to get the job done....!  Why are muslims in our govt? in our military? in our country?   This is not a religion, people get your respective heads out of your respective butts.....this is a political agenda and full of lies....one said muslim can't kill muslims, thats why he didn't want to go to Iraq......strange....how many so called honor killings do we hear about...muslims killing own family members..so much for following the farce!   How about all the innocents, the muslim civilians, the terrorists killed in Iraq....oops, guess those don't count....I am sick and tired of this coverup......deport them...or you will wait and have to fight them here on our soil...they make no bones about it, thats their goal!!!  imho

Unfortunately the army has serious shortages...

 In medical and language skills.

In fact they are extending their search specifically to non-citizens to fill the gaps...

Muslims are in our Gov

Muslims are in our Gov partly because of all their wonderful contributions to America's growth and prosperity.

Aug 2009: The president said Ramadan is "a time of intense devotion and reflection" when Muslims fast during the day, perform their prayers at night, and recite and listen to the entire Koran during the course of the month. "These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common, and Islam's role in advancing justice, progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings." - obama

"The contribution of Muslims to the United States are too long to catalog because Muslims are so interwoven into the fabric of our communities and our country," Obama said at the iftar, the dinner that breaks the holiday's daily fast.

April 2009: Obama's visit, in which he said America "will never be at war with Islam,"

BTW, did we see CAIR or any other muslim organization come out and condemn these attacks yet?

Speaking of CAIR

BTW, did we see CAIR or any other muslim organization come out and condemn these attacks yet?

Nah, CAIR is too busy these days hiding their real agenda while trampling on the first amendment.

From the linked Politico article by Josh Gerstein (bold mine):

A federal judge has issued an order requiring the author (David Gaubatz) of a controversial new book about the Council on American-Islamic Relations to refrain from "any use, disclosure or publication" of thousands of documents his son allegedly stole while working undercover as an intern at the group.

David Gaubatz's book, "Muslim Mafia," argues that the removal of the documents was legal because CAIR had ordered Chris Gaubatz to shred them and because they were evidence that CAIR is a criminal organization that supports terrorist groups. CAIR denies any ties to terrorism.

"Muslim Mafia" caused a stir on Capitol Hill earlier this month when several members of Congress used it as a basis to charge that CAIR was engaged in an insidious attempt to infiltrate the Capitol.

"If an organization that is connected to or supports terrorists is running influence operations or planting spies in key national security-related congressional offices, I think this needs to be made known," Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.)said. CAIR contends its intern-placing efforts are innocuous and commonplace for Washington advocacy groups.

CAIR'S attempt to infiltrate the Capitol appear a whole lot more credible after the Fort Hood incident.  I wonder if U.S. District Court Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly is having second thoughts about her ruling?

acumen... The Judge

acumen...

The Judge having any regrets....I seriously doubt it.

It's an outrageous ruling ...and we all pay for what the left does, one way or the other.

CAIR should be dismantled, plenty jailed, the rest deported-permanently.

This country keeps this up, yesterday will be child's play.

Btw...I hope this case is appealed...big time.

Freedom of Speech is only for the left and their agenda...Capitol Hill have plenty of enemies in this country, CAIR being a big one, their agenda will not be denied...you can bet that O-Team will always defend them...

Bachmann was right when she was on Matthews before the last election saying congress-critters need to be checked out, backgrounds/ties etc.

Re Background Checks

Also to include the President and his administration including czars. There's not a hope in hell that the Bamster could have passed an FBI background check for the lowest level of security clearance, and the majority of his czars also would not.

sw... You got that

sw...

You got that right!

'Doubling down on stupid is not a particularly good idea'~Breitbart

Slick.. and the most

Slick.. and the most dangerous piece of that is that Obama and all his lefty, Marxist looney buddies have access to the most delicate, important, strategic insider information in the nation. They can bring this country down in a minute. That keeps me awake at night.

No citizen's right to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, or property is safe as long as Obama is President of the United States.

P II,

Yeah, funny how when these "peaceful" Muslims don't have any Christians or Jews around to kill, they turn on each other.

Our elected representatives have failed us.

I probably should not raise this

It was hours of news management that told us the "shooter" was dead--then oh, he's not. This made me flash on 9/11, where they knew in 24 hours the names and had the pix of the 19 people who had been blown up and had come into the US all sorts of ways. That always seemed fast to me. Oh, don't berate me as a doubter--but I never was comfortable with that. Even with all the news gathering we have--we still can't get the story...it always seems spoon-fed.

To try and ease your fears a little...

There were phone calls from three of the planes to husbands/wives and at least one to an airline representative. One of the calls was from the wife of the US Solicitor General at the time to her husband. I'm sure that almost all of those calls included descriptions of the hijackers. As soon as that info got to the "authorities" ( measured in minutes, not hours) I'm sure that all the pieces fell into place and it was a mear couple of hours to get the passenger manifest and trace all back to their points of origin and then start looking at security videos. The FBI/CIA/NSA probably knew who the culprits were and had pictures of most of them within 12 hours but it wasn't released right away.

Throw 'da bums out!!!

Before it's too late.

It wasn't like taking a wallet out of a pocket

Yes, that woman could have given descriptions of three or four--on her plane...we are talking about 19...no IDs, yes, some were on the watch list, but it would have taken time to put this together...You can't just assume someone with a Middle Eastern name on a manifest was one of them. In my mind, anyway. Oh, well...it really does not have to do with this except that I never feel like we get the real story--but maybe we as citizens don't need the whole story...whatever.

I fear that we have the mother of all mole problems...

I can not believe that an army officer of 10+ years can easily be "radicalized" (you don't get to Major in much shorter a time span) therefore either he was already a radical before entering the military or it is the religion itself. Either way that means the US military has a huge problem.

From what I've read, he enlisted right out of high school.  So, if he's 39 years old...he's been in what, 20 years?

He went through med school on the military's dime.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out, but we know the media's going to spin it like mad.

I hope he fails, too.

Can't see otherwise what else he could be.

You guys love Jon Stewart,

You guys love Jon Stewart, right? Well, last night he had an 8-minute "tribute" to Beck. Enjoy: http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/thu-november-5-2009/the-11-3-project

Beck does Beck better

At least maybe the writers watched a show or two--usually people trash Beck and have never seen his show.

This whole thing

is beyond sad.  Can you imagine being deployed with your family back home at Fort Hood?  Or having a family member stationed there and hearing this on the news?

My prayers go out to the victims and their families.

I am reminded of The Minstrel Boy.  Listen to this version and see if you are too.....for all our fine young men and women who were so cruelly attacked yesterday by a maniac who should have never been where he was, but for idiot political correctness and expediency.

The Minstrel Boy to the war is gone

In the ranks of death you will find him

His father's sword he hath girded on

And his wild harp slung behind him

Land of Song! said the warrior bard

Tho' all the world betrays thee

One sword, at least, thy rights shall guard

One faithful harp shall praise thee!

The Minstrel fell!

But the foeman's chain

Could not bring that proud soul under

The harp he lov'd ne'er spoke again

For he tore its chords asunder

And said "No chains shall sully thee

Thou soul of love and brav'ry!

Thy songs were made for the pure and free,

They shall never sound in slavery!

I hope he fails, too.

Nice B

Dittos on the prayers...

My brother is based there.

My brother is based there. He is training in NC now or some such place. His wife is still around there in thier house. Man summer before last he was in Afghanistan and now this.

Wow, Dan

My best to your brother and his wife.

I hope he fails, too.

Look at Europe

That is our future and more of the same.

There has been an exploding population of Muslims in countries like the UK and France. They have also had increasing problems with crime and Muslims youths because they do learn Jihad.

We can keep arresting and killing these people but we will never stop this unless the Muslim religious and political leaders in this country are held responsible for the stopping of all radical Muslims teachings and preachings here. All we get is a wink and a nod and a lot of lip service.

As far as I can read, the Muslim religion teaches intolerance of other religions with the answer being jihad. Violence is systemic in the religion.

Re France

France is an advanced nuclear power, and 15-20% of their military is muslim. When the civil war begins there, the military may be useless to stop it.

When the civil war begins

When the civil war begins in France, UK and other European countries it won't be much of a war because within 20 years Muslims will be int he majority because of population growth: they don't believe in birth control and the rest of the population does.

The last time I was in Paris there was a bomb outside a restaurant and the police thought nothing of it - just a common occurance.

I hereby call for the

I hereby call for the resignation or firing of both Attorney General Eric Holder and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, and for immediate Congressional hearings on what their agencies knew about the terrorist and his activities, and when they knew it.

How's that homeland security working for you, Obama?

Absolutely. It was not as

Absolutely.

It was not as if they did not already have suspicions about this man.

Just another crooked Democrat

FORT HOOD, Texas (Nov. 6) -- A civilian police officer who shot the Fort Hood gunman four times during his bloody rampage stopped the attacker cold, a U.S. Army official said Friday.

[Sgt.] Officer Kimberly Munley of the Fort Hood Police Department is a "trained, active first responder" who acted quickly after she "just happened to encounter the gunman," said Lt. Gen. Bob Cone, Fort Hood's commanding general.

Re islam

Re "islam a religion like any other", – this is just wrong. We treat islam as a religion but it is much more. It is also a political system intended to replace a democratic republic such as ours, and any other form of democracy found in the world. The political system includes its own code of justice intented to replace our laws. We must start looking at islam more like the way we looked at communism during the Cold War.
