Comedian and kooky leftist Janeane Garofalo is at it again, smearing conservative activists as "white power" racists. Garofalo made her incendiary comments on the October 2 edition of Bill Maher's "Real Time" program on HBO.
Sorry, Janeane, the "real reason that so few people are willing to talk about racism is because, quite frankly, few people are as crazy as Janeane Garofalo is," Media Research Center President and NewsBusters Publisher Brent Bozell told viewers the next morning on Saturday's "Fox & Friends." [MP3 audio available here]
Bozell noted that Garofalo conveniently forgets that President Obama began office in January with a stunning 83 percent approval rating, before citing more evidence of Garofalo's wackiness:
This is a woman who also says of people exercising their First Amendment rights, she's also called them functionally retarded.... She also believes, by the way, she's absolutely convinced that George Bush stole the 2000 election. Fine. She also believes, unquestionably, that he also then turned around and stole the 2004 election as well. I'm sorry, this woman is a crackpot. And I think, by the way, she's perfect for Keith Olbermann on MSNBC.

What a creepy couple they'd make!

BINGO!
Garofalolbermann
October 5, 2009 - 12:26 ET by konoThough I always thought Rosie O'Donut might be Janeane's soul-mate, in Olbermann she gets a compatible personality with half the weight of Rosie.
They should be careful if they want to reproduce, though, because if both pass along their BizarreRavingLunatic genes to a child, it may give the child no choice but to become an MSNBC commentator.
She got more air time?
October 5, 2009 - 10:20 ET by StarAZI never watch Maher anymore. For more loopy stuff, check out Krugman today in the NYT. Everything is the Republicans' fault, naturally. Don't these people ever get embarrassed? I did notice more WTF in the comments than usual--maybe we are making some headway.
Krugman
October 5, 2009 - 10:55 ET by KC MulvilleYeah, Krugman was unusually obnoxious today. His basic argument was that the Republicans have decided that if the president is for it, they're against it. Then he calls the GOP childish.
What the hell was going on for the last eight years? That has been the Democrat strategy for as long as I can remember. What's worse is that the Democrats followed that strategy against Bush during two wars.
The best you can say is that the Republicans do the same. Fine. It's a symptom of party politics. Has the Nobel-winning economist only now discovering the partisanship of parties?
she is very funny
October 5, 2009 - 10:22 ET by JIMMY1660the more she talks the better i feel about what i think.she confirms all that i hold near and dear to my heart. GOD BLESS AMERICA

I saw that on Saturday
October 5, 2009 - 10:32 ET by BlondeBrent Bozell was great.....he gave JG the treatment she so richly deserves, laughed her off as the lunatic she is.
Wait for it....he'll show up this week as Olberloon's Worst Person in the World for laughing at this stupid woman.
I hope he fails, too.
Garofalo
October 5, 2009 - 10:49 ET by ronzorelliOlbermann and Garofalo sittin' in a tree... K-I-S-S-I-N-G... first comes love...
You know the rest...
Please, no
October 5, 2009 - 11:08 ET by KC BeachThe world is not ready for a brood of these two mental midgets. Let's not take that any further.
I didn't think their kind believed in reproducing.
October 5, 2009 - 14:28 ET by Sestren_NKAnd now I just scared myself even worse with that thought.
She Needs Help
October 5, 2009 - 11:09 ET by rammingspeedI agree, Garofalo probably suffers from some clinical mental illness, which goes beyond simply believing crazy things. She's obviously a miserable human being; obsessed and filled with rage at not getting her way. Bill Maher exploited her, but then Bill Maher is a cretin, so what can we expect?
Bipartisanship
October 5, 2009 - 11:14 ET by KC MulvilleThe silliest part is the myth that Obama is caving in to the right-wing. He offers nothing. He pays minimal lip service to others, and then immediately insults them if they don't roll over for him. That's bipartisanship?
I don't blame Garafola for being a crackpot. She can't help it; that's part of the problem with crackpottery. Instead, I blame the bastards who put her on, for the sole sake of insulting others, using her as the vehicle for their smug condescension. Brent was exactly right, except Maher is also a vehicle himself. The real bastard here is HBO.
Why even waste time on this dolt woman?
October 5, 2009 - 11:41 ET by philipjamesWhy would anyone want to even waste one second refuting or arguing over things this dumb woman says? It actually gives her some sort of status and she will just keep on going....
forget her... who is she anyway? Does she command the adoration or loyalty of some big voting block?
So screw her and move on to better targets like Brooks, Murphy, Castellanos and all those idiot pretend Conservatives with narcissistic problems like Obama.
Go after them, because some Republicans actually listen to them.
So screw her
October 5, 2009 - 12:09 ET by GeneralAlI'd rather go celibate!
screwing garofalo
October 5, 2009 - 12:32 ET by konoAmen to that. I'd rather self-castrate with a pair of rusty cheese-graters than couple with that creepy thing. She's made great strides these past ten years of making herself more hideous and disgusting, both inside and out.
Yahtzee!!!
October 5, 2009 - 11:49 ET by ConservativeClark"And I think, by the way, she's perfect for Keith Olbermann on MSNBC."
Boy, talk about hitting the nail right on the head. If this disgusting woman hates America so much, then i humbly invite her to leave and never come back. I also invite any other America-hating people the opportunity to leave as well.
leaving los estados unidos
October 5, 2009 - 12:39 ET by konoThe U.N. just announced that Norway is the best place to live in the world. That would be a perfect fit for a Gollum-like u.n.-american commie hosebag like Janeane, especially if she took Keith Olberwuss with her.

October 5, 2009 - 12:41 ET by FeynmanFanI'm guessing that Norway's first place status would drop as soon as the two of them got off the plane there.

Norway, Did you know they have beer taps on the docks there!
October 5, 2009 - 14:59 ET by upcountrywaterNorway looks like south park (the real one), on the sea... The beer pubs!!! They buy their beer in a 5,000 gallon lot , delivered in trucks, and it's delivered into underground tanks..and no joke beer throttles on the docks! Man oh man how green is that!

October 5, 2009 - 14:32 ET by Sestren_NKI should hold a sign saying "Janeane Garafalaromaro says I'm a white supremacist, what do you think?" just to see the reaction when they realize it's not a white person holding the sign. I'll smack someone if they start speaking to me in spanish, though.

Note to self: Make two signs in anticipation that one will be destroyed on someone who is likely here illegally.
Note to self part 2: Make three in case you run into those kids who came at the last protest with signs saying "We love Obama, we love pot." (sadly this is true)
"just to see the reaction
October 5, 2009 - 15:46 ET by ckc1227"just to see the reaction when they realize it's not a white person holding the sign."
The only reaction you'd likely get is people asking you who Janeane Garafalo is.
Ms. Garofalo can appear on
October 5, 2009 - 14:57 ET by Magic2171Ms. Garofalo can appear on any of the propaganda media sites (NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC) because they have all consumed the Obama koolade and are true believers, no matter the logic, facts or truth.
