Video of Baltimore ACORN activists willing to help a pimp and prostitute work out a tax shelter for a brothel is a "devastating" indictment of the liberal activist group, Media Research Center President Brent Bozell pronounced on the September 11 "Hannity." [MP3 audio available here]
"It shows the power of the Internet. It doesn't matter anymore that [Big Three broadcast networks] ABC and NBC and CBS aren't covering it. The world now knows about it because people go in there and show them the truth," Bozell noted, adding that it proves what conservatives have been saying that ACORN "is a suspect organization [subsidized] with millions of taxpayer dollars."
Bozell also discussed the controversy involving Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.), who yelled "You lie!" at President Obama during last Wednesday's speech before Congress:
SEAN HANNITY, host of "Hannity": He apologized. None of these Democrats have ever apologized, Brent. None. And the media didn't call them out, and that's your job monitoring them.
BRENT BOZELL, MRC president: And look, look what good it's done for him to apologize. They're still after him. And now they want to censor him. They want him groveling and they're still not going to accept it. But, look, he shouldn't have done it. And those of us who are defending him can say he should have done it the moment the speech was over, outside of that chamber.
BOZELL: I don't want Democrats doing it to good Republicans and--
HANNITY: But they booed George W. Bush in the [House] chamber. They booed him.
BOZELL: And, and we thought that that was tasteless and we denounced them for it.

Lateral citizen to citizen information sharing via the internet is here, is now and is powerful. It's where opinion makers now get their important news.
I know we all know this and participate in the new media. I wrote this for the traditional media publishers, editors and reporters who haven't gotten the memo yet.

These staged media events have become nothing but a lying session. When did it become acceptable to lie to the American people on National TV? Everything from the daily press briefings to speeches to congress are nothing but stage managed propaganda.
The media pundits that have their underwear in a bunch should be forced to answer when it became acceptable to lie to the American people.
That is what outrages me and kudos to Joe Wilson for letting Barry know we are not buying it anymore.

Pelosi has no authority to force Joe Wilson to apologize to the House because of his outburst during Obama's speech. The House was not in session, and House rules do not apply. Perhaps he wasn't "polite", but he said out loud what we all believe. He represented the American people with his words. That's his job.
What Pelosi wants to do is what sociologists call a "ceremony of humiliation." Tyrants use this tool to keep others in a group in line, to send a message to others who would challenge existing authority.

There are plenty of thugs that work for the Cornies and other unions that might decide to take revenge.
I fear for their lives. There are plenty of crazies on the left that would do it too.
